We enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for the women's euros 2025 and this location was a great retreat from the madness of the city. A couple of train rides out of St Gallen so if you are hoping for a quick hop down to the city beware its a distance away. We found it very convenient for a trip over to Liechtenstein too.

The rooms are spacious, clean and well organised with good ventilation for summer heat, we had a fan provided which was helpful without the presence of A/C.

Just a few negative points. The fridge in our room didn't seem to work which was a shame, and the privacy in the bathrooms in the room we had (located in the original part of the hotel not the new addition) isn't great. It's a sliding door that doesn't close all the way with some strange design gaps in the privacy glass strip.

Overall i would recommend this hotel. Very typical swiss area on the hill with stunning views over the water towards germany and austria

Over and above!!

I must say i almost had to cancel do to the latest checking was 10pm but when i realized after booking i call the hotel and Jaime told me she would wait. On top of this the train ran late so the 20 min walk from the train station was made into a 10 min run uphill!! The Hotel Rebstock was a great find. Stunning view of the lake at night and even more incredible in the morning. The breakfast gives plenty of options for everyone.

The hotel was very easy to get to and very nice. The view from the balcony ws lovely and the room was quite large. I appreciayed all the amenities in the room The thing I did NOT like was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. The door is almost entirely clear glass. It doesn't close tightly so it is like not having a door at all. The shower head is designed to raise and lower as needed. Instead it just kept falling down. Everything else was great. Breakfast was very nice. We also had dinner there and it was good.

We enjoyed this hotel with a great view of Lake Constance (Bodensee). The rooms were modern and clean, and the restaurant is very nice with a view of the lake. Breakfast was great with many choices of bread, meats, cereal, etc. It was a good place to stay after arriving on an overnight plane, not having to drive too far from Zurich.

We were in the new section with magnificent views overlooking the Lake. All the staff were excellent. The food was great in the restaurant. We parked right outside from the lift. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. There are no restaurants around but the hotel restaurant had good food and fabulous views.

Not your typical Best Western in th U.S.!

Very nice hotel with beautiful view of Lake Konstanz/Bodensee. Great access to the train station for day trips. Other restaurants not close by but the Rebstock Hotel restaurant was excellent. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Jasmine at the reception desk, who was always cheerful and friendly and arranged for us to take a sack lunch with us when we had to leave early and miss breakfast. And also thanks to Mark for taking the time to give us directions and information about what to see and how to get there.

Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel long term due to business in this area. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are typically Swiss and very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is superb with views over lake Constance and easy access to Rorshach and the main trainline etc.

I will definitely stay here again if back in the area.

We loved the balcony rooms! There was plenty of space and balconies on two sides with beautiful views of the lake. We had food and drinks at the restaurant terrace when we arrived. The service was very pleasant and everyone enjoyed their orders. We really enjoyed our stay!

My friend and I arrived after travelling from Basel to meet up with our Swiss friend. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and could not do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. Breakfast was very good - lots of choice of either cold and hot food. We ate in the restaurant on the last evening and the meal and service were excellent. We had a car so not sure about local transportation. If we were in this area again we would certainly stay at this hotel.

The hotel staff were quite nice and accommodating. Most of the staff we encountered spoke English, which made it convenient. We took advantage of the free breakfast: nice assortment and super convenient. We arrived on a Friday evening and the restaurant was quite busy, but there was still plenty of parking. Our room was in the older part of the hotel and had a nice view of the lake. It was super quiet. The bed was too firm for my taste, but not a big deal. I'd definitely book here again.

Just what I expected...very good!!

All the reviews I had read said that the hotel was convenient and welcoming and it was. Front desk was friendly. Room was great. Wi-fi worked. So close to the water and the mountain. Beautiful area to explore. We stayed for 2 nights and ate at their restaurant one of those nights. Dinner was fine, nice selections of both food, wine and beers. The second night we ate at The Landhaus in Rheineck which I highly recommend for authentic local fine dining. Great stay in general!!

While not a Five Star hotel the Rebstock makes up for it with superb service, cleanliness, and comfort. The only drawback may be the somewhat isolated location, but the views of Bodensee make up for that! The staff is very helpful and patient with non German speaking guests. A very pleasant experience and very highly recommended hotel!!

We where only going to stay overnight but wish we had had more time to stay a few more days. The new modern section of the hotel was high-class, best fit out and awesome views over the lake. Bed were very comfortable (not hard) and access by car very easy (using GPS). We will be back.

We only stayed one night, but the view was stunning overlooking lake Constance. The newly built front section of the hotel where we stayed was superbly designed and appointed. All fittings and lighting of the highest standard. Beds where very comfortable (not hard). Restaurant menu great. We will come back and stay a few more days another time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed for 2 nights whilst conducting some business at Altenrhein airport, which is only 5 mins away.
The hotel is in great condition and the staff friendly and helpful.

Superb hotel for leisure, family and business

A delightful hotel for family leisure or for business and small conferences. The hotel is family run by a Father and Son team, with back up from a well trained and super-friendly group of staff. The hotel has recently undergone a well planned and designed expansion and can now cater for small groups, meetings, etc. There is ample outdoor parking for around sixty cars. The single outlet restaurant offers excellent food and beverage served by a very professional and very friendly team and generally all staff seem to be multi-skilled and are willing to help out in any situation. Altogether a great experience and one which we would very much like to repeat.

Superbe hôtel pour une escale lors de notre périple entre la Suisse, l'Allemagne et l'Autriche avec vue sur le lac de Constance. Confortable, bonne literie, café et eaux dans la chambre.

Sehr schönes Hotel

Wir wurden sehr freundliche empfangen und erhielten ein Upgrade auf ein riesengrosses Zimmer mit eigener Küche. Das Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen und wir wurden auch da sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Auch die Verabschiedung beim auschecken war sehr freundlich.
Dieses Hotel kann ohne bedenken weiterempfohlen werden!

Kurztrip über das Wochenende. Schöne Kage mit tollem Seeblick. Frühstück gut. Restaurant teilweise für die Menge auf dem Telker etwas überteuert. Flasche Wasser 10 Franken ganz klar zu teuer. Verbesserungsvorschlag, die Glastüren von den Bädern umbauen auf richtige Türen. Klimaanlage und kleinen Mini Kühlschrank wären dann auf 2023 Niveau. Ansonsten sehr nettes Personal und schöne Lage.

Wenn ich über Hotel.com ein Zimmer buche, darüber mit der Signature der Hotelrezeption eine Bestätigung erhalte und ich beim Einchecken erfahre, dass Expedia bereits Geld von mir abgebucht hat, Ich keine Rechnung erhalte…

Dann fühle ich mich als Hotelgast schlichtweg verarscht. Wer wen wan als Unternehmen übernommen hat ist nicht mein Problem, aber als Kunde darf ich wohl davon ausgehen, dass ich auch Transparent über Buchung und Rechnung informiert werde - was hier nicht der Fall ist.
