The staff were nice and fast with the check in and out(around 1-2 mins for each). They provide lots of towels and amenities by the door as well. Rooms were very clean and had everything that I needed! I would recommend if you come to Kyoto and don't want to stay in the busy Main Street. It's nice and quiet here with a mini stop 20 feet from the hotel. Also there is a really good restaurant called \"Ginjo Ramen Kubota\" that has amazing tsukemen. Overall great place! Loved walking down the streets from Main Street to this hotel.

The location is not too far from public transportation and the rooms are okay. The bathtub in the room was clogged and dirty when we got there and the shower didn’t work properly. The staff at the front desk weren’t helpful and were focused on their phones and ignored guests. The area itself felt unsafe compared to everywhere else I’ve been in Japan. The workers at the local convenience store were rude and laughed at foreigners just buying food and it felt like no one in this area wanted tourists. Hopefully it changes in the future.

Automated self check-in requires bar code or 4-digit number that was not in the confirmation of my reservation. Even getting into the lobby requires this info! If you're confused and can't get in or check in, pick up the phone. The one staff person will come to the rescue. Small centipede on the bed, but otherwise clean.

Slightly strange absent staff set up and obvs no breakfast or bar or shared spaces etc BUT very very central (seemed EVERYWHERE was a short bus ride away!!). What interaction we did have with the staff (5 mins at check in) was simple, efficient and polite. The inexpensive washer/dryer laundry was a godsend. The room was super neat tidy and clean. It was an excellent base shilst in Kyoto! Cheers !

It was a cozy and quiet place, about 5 minutes of walk to Gojo Station, and it was kind of clean, but they don’t do the room services every day; in my whole stay (7 days), they only cleaned the room two times! Also, the room doesn’t have a drinking bottle of water, so you need to buy it even when you have just arrived from a long trip. In my experience, they usually give you even a small bottle of water when you arrive.

This is place will do if you are traveling alone or max with 2 people. It is clean and safe and has a convenience store right around the corner. But this place was advertise for 4 and there is no way 4 people with luggage can stay in this room comfortably! We stayed two nights with a family of for with two older teens and it was not easy to say the least. It is quite a walk from the train station and just know that there is nobody on-site to assist in anyway, it's all self check-in and done remotely.
Would recommend only to single business traveler or 2 adults with car that do not need any assistance and are familiar with area.

Great value for money, was nice to have a pretty big room in comparison to similarly priced hotels in Osaka and Tokyo! Room was very clean, room cleaning is only once every three days which didn't bother me and they put out new towels at the front desk for you to grab if needed. Great location, around the corner from the metro line. Front desk is essentially self service although there was a staff member there to check me in as I arrived at 4pm (when check in opens) not sure if that is the same everyday. I didn't really see anyone at the front desk usually although I think there were staff in the office.

The downfall of this place is incredibly thin walls, you can hear people talking in rooms around and above you and if you are staying under someone you will hear them walking around very clearly which is not great especially at a location like Kyoto when you want to be up early to catch the main attractions with minimal crowds!!

Great stay! For the price, the value is unbeatable. Self check-in was easy and convenient, complementary toiletries were very much appreciated, and the room was comfortable despite it's small size. Close to the subway line so getting around is easy. Highly recommended if staying in the area!

Bathroom smelt bad

It was a non-smoking room but the bathroom smelled like smoke. Also, one of the towels smelled like smoke.

We had to call at the front desk to get new towels because there weren't any at the front counter and no one to talk to.

The hotel was new and had very clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff was helpful and the hotel even had a laundry room (the dryer took a long time to dry clothes, but this seemed to be an issue with other dryers in Japan as well. The best part was that they provide free shuttle near Kyoto Station to your hotel, and free shuttles to other tourist destinations too.

There isn't anyone at the front desk to help check-in. Upon arrival, there was a phone outside. We had to pick up the phone to receive directions on how to get in/check-in. The lady on the other line was very pleasant and helped us get in.

There is free laundry room on the first floor which is nice. The property is located about 20 -30 min walk from Gion area. We rented bikes in the area and also biked to the Bamboo Forest. Overall the location was good, wish we booked something closer to the Gion area since we went there every night for dinner.

We never saw anyone at the front desk. Although not a problem, sometimes it's nice to have personal service to help with questions. Overall it was fine though.

一月末で旅行者が少ない？時期のせいか個室を安く取ることができました。何よりお部屋がとてもキレイだったのが満足。フロントは最低限十分なシステムって感じで旅行慣れしてる人なら問題ないし、チェックアウト後に近所の銭湯に行きたくて、その間だけ鍵つきの荷物を預けるスペースがカジュアルに使えたのもよかったです。

ちょっと細かいことですが、玄関の番号入力式のタッチパネルの起動に毎回手こずりました。説明図のイラストだと手をかざすとタッチパネルが起動するような印象なのですが、何度手のひらをかざしても起動せず、ただ指で画面をタッチしたら起動しました。あのイラストが直感的にはわからなかったな、という細かい感想です。ホテルは総じて大満足でした。

거의 모든것이 셀프로 진행되고 청소는 4일째 해줍니다. 방음이 잘 안되어 있고 버스정류장을 이용하기도 애매한 위치입니다. 여행지에서 돌아다니다가 호텔로 올 때 교통이 편한것은 아니었습니다.

日本のホテル清掃ではない

駅から近くファミリーで泊まれる安いホテルだったので予約しましたが、他の人にオススメできません。

まず、エレベーター横に置きっぱなしの回収リネン袋に違和感がありました。普通は放置しません。

部屋に入ると広く綺麗に感じましたが、
実際に過ごすと、そうではありませんでした。
浴室の黒カビ、洗面台のピンクカビ、部屋の壁に飲み物をこぼした汚れがそのままだったり床の清掃不足(髪の毛や埃)に驚きました。
部屋のカップ、洗面台のコップも洗ってない気がしました。
ここまで汚いと布団類も気持ち悪く感じてしまうほどでした。

Bon emplacement mais check in compliqué car code d’entrée non communiqué par l’hôtel. De plus on nous a refait payer des frais (ce qui n’était pas précisé et nous avions déjà payé des frais de réservation en ligne, bien que pas cher, pas correct de ne pas le précisé)ménage fait tous les 3 jours (sur 4 nuits notre chambre a été nettoyée une seule fois (le dernier jour)

設備、室内は清潔でよかったです。室内のテレビのリモコンが電池切れか故障でフロントで確認をお願いしようと思いましたがチェックインでの対応に追われておられたので諦めてテレビ本体で操作したので結果として問題なく見れました。残念だったことは外国の旅行者の方が多く共用部廊下深夜遅くまで長電話をされている声(大きめの声)が気になってなかなか寝付けなかったことでした。
