This is our second stay and the only place we stay in Uzes. The rooms are always clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff is exceptional and very friendly. They go above and beyond. Breakfast is very good with great selections.

Great Stay in Uze. Lovely staff at reception . Great location . Parking was reserved ahead , and very convenient . Room was small ( but many rooms in France are small ) . Lovely amenities in common areas , sitting areas , pool, and roof to terrace .

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a lovely sunny balcony.

Room amenities are light. They could lift there act.

The town is picturesque try to be their on market day. So much wonderful produce

Sevice parfait, petit déjeuner excellent, seul point noir les horaires le petit déjeuner un dimanche qui se termine à 9h30 c'est vraiment trop tôt, hoaire pour quitter les chambres anoncés à 10h00 ce qui est vraiment bcp trop tôt heureusement qu'ils sont très tolérants sur cet horaire .

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Uzès

It was a wonderful stay in this exceptional hotel. The room was beautifully furnished. The service in the hotel was very courteous. The stairs to the Prestige Suite are very narrow and steep. It was no problem for us.

Lovely hotel

Gorgeous hotel, nice staff, attractive room, small bathroom. We had one hot shower, one cold shower. Very minimal toiletries, nasty of soap and a strange shower gel dispenser on the wall of the shower. No complimentary water in the room. One coffee pod each, you have to pay for another one. It’s a shame, these are little things which can make a difference to your stay with minimal extra cost to the hotel.

Hard to leave

We had such a lovely stay here. The staff were all friendly and helpful without exception. Reserving tables for our evening meals in town restaurants was a bonus. Our room was simple but comfortable with a small terrace overlooking the pool. The pool itself was an oasis of calm, mere steps from the town streets. Uzès is a beautiful, buzzing town. Well worth a few days of anyone's time. We wish we had more time here and will definitely make sure we return.

I’ve stayed at this hotel three times in 35 years! I’m afraid this time it felt scruffier and less stylish than previous stays. The decor is a bit odd and somehow the interior doesn’t quite work. The staff were lovely. Everyone was really friendly and efficient.

The hotel was beautiful and very well located… BUT… when we checked in, we were told that they didn’t have an extra bed for our 13 year old!?!?? We made the reservation weeks in advance for 3 guests, including a kid age 13!
Supposedly they sent us an email to ask if we needed that extra bed because they only have a few of them. ( I never received this email, I triple checked)
And supposedly they didn’t know our kid was 13, even though this is something hotels.com always asks when there is a child in the booking.
The lady at the front desk had the audacity to patronize us because you know, sometimes the kids sleep with the parents, you never know…
When I asked to cancel our night with them so we could find a hotel with a room to accommodate 3 guests, since they didn’t respect the contract, they refused, because the cancellation date was 7 days prior to check-in!!!! We were basically stuck. They are not cheap, we couldn’t pay them AND another place.
They did strictly nothing to help us out, we had to share a bed with our teenage son in an overheated room because the ac couldn’t keep up with the heat that day.
Oh, and so you know, they do have parking on site, BUT don’t forget to reserve your spot because they have about 3 spots…
We travel travel a lot, to a lot of different places and countries, and this is the first time that a reservation for 3 guests doesn’t mean 3 guests unless you respond to an email ( that I never received).

Jolie hotel bien placé !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet hôtel idéalement placé !
Superbe vue sur le toit terrasse ainsi qu'une piscine agreable.
Je conseille de reserver a l'avance le garage car il n' y a pas beaucoup de place,mais pour ceux qui ont une voiture électrique le garage est équipé de prises qui sont a dispositions.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées.
Les seuls petits reproches que l'on peut faire seraient que la cave a vin qu'il y a dans la chambre est un peu bruyante, et la qualité des confitures a dispositions lors du petit déjeuner, mais tout le reste compense largement !
Le personnel est tres agréable et de bon conseil.
Nous y retournerons probablement !

We can only recommend this hotel. Perfect location in a beautiful town. Very clean room and a cute restaurant. A small rooftop where you can rest after your “busy” day on the market (one of the best we have ever seen) Saturday it is 👍

So hot we couldn’t sleep

Our room was in the attic and the air conditioning was useless in the 38 degree heat so we barely slept for two nights. Despite having a do not disturb sign on the door, my husband had a man come in to the room during the day.

The hotel is in a great location and would be good in winter, if their heater works!

An amazing Hotel - an amazing City - a MUST.

This was our first trip to Uzes- and it won't be our last as we can't wait to get back to this property. Tucked away on a narrow street in the heart of the city lies a true gem of a property. This historic stone property has been completely updated. Featuring full restaurant and bar, secured parking (for 6 cars - so request when you make your reservation) rooftop deck to watch sunsets AND walkable to entire town of Uzes. Room was super clean and quiet. Staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Close to Pont du Gard and winetasting. A true experience at a great price. Would have stayed longer if we knew what to expect.

Wonderfulplace to stay in Uzes

The hotel is modern within the walls of a medieval structure. A great place to stay, very central, walking distance to everywhere. The kindness, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff make it a wonderful experience. Important to note that the hotel offers parking, so make sure to reserve a spot if you will need one - parking in Uzes is difficult or expensive BUT make sure you have one of the staff either guide you into their garage or they will park it for you.

A superb experience

It is rare to come across a hotel that has it all, but this hidden gem goes way above the norm. The location, view, stunning design and attention to detail make for a perfect experience. Add to that a Michelin star restaurant and roof top bar with a world class view, it will leave you wanting to stay longer. Can't wait to return.

Very nice facility in an historic building modernized with much taste.

We had room 303, which is quite small, too small for people used to some comfort, especially the bathroom.

At the reception we were told that the price of the room was 90 Euros, which is correct, however, we were charged almost 125 Euros by expedia. Breakfast is 14 Euros per person and is not all exceptional.

Wonderful hotel but terrible parking.

Loved the room and the hotel. Bed & pillows super comfortable. Loved having the coffee/ tea making facilities in the room, not always found in French hotels. You can walk to the market place through all the lovely cobbled streets.
Only problem was the parking. The hotel only has a small garage and the only alternative is an unsecure public carpark across the road which doesn't always have available parks. We were able to park in the hotels garage but on the morning we left another car was blocking our exit. It was very early so by the time the owner was located our trip was delayed 30 minutes. We missed our train in Avignon and had to pay for new tickets. Not happy.

You can trust all the five-star reviews for Hotel Entraigues. We did, and enjoyed an unforgettable three nights there. Hotel staff were friendly and went beyond helpful. One example--while giving us walking directions to the laundry/dry cleaners five minutes away, the desk manager said \"never mind, I'll go there for you\". The hotel is a beautifully stabilized and modernized medieval structure with twenty-first century furnishings and lighting. Our suite overlooked the Uzes cathedral through a large soundproof window which could be opened for the abundant fresh, cool air. Breakfasts were perfect, and as others have commented, are brought to your table without the usual Euro buffet drill. Good parking, provided in the hotel's locked garage. Uzes itself is a great base of operations for exploring Avignon and Nimes, or for the closer delights of the Pont du Gard and villages such as Saint Quentin la Poterie. Be sure to allot a day for strolling, shopping, and open air dining, and if possible visit the Wednesday or Saturday produce market in the central town square.
