Room had a horrible smell when We arrive. The corridor was very dirty with the wallpapers broken and other walls in the process of painting. Very bad experience, doesn’t look like a hotel that belongs to bonvoy. Should have an inspection from the headquarters!!!

The room was extremely small for what was considered a queen suite. It was overpriced due to hike in prices even as a Marriot Bonvoy member. The cost was higer than USA prices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Especially the food service manager. I think its important to put people before money, and charging exuberant cost in a city where cost is affordable. I felt abandoned by the US hotel chains in Medellin.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, the breakfast set up, and the breakfast staff were amazing. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We would definitely consider staying again if returning to the area. It is in a very convenient location walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and other places.

hotel have perfect location, with perfect and very nice and safe area, however , room doesnt have at least a mini refrigeraton and ice is only located at lobby floor, rooms are small for the price and beds terrible , pillows and mattres poor quality, and breakfast was also poor for hotel price and staff at breakfast was rude and with very poor atention and rushing to close, and when turist ask for simple things like eggs they get mad and answer in a very rude manner, im very dissapointed and doesnt plan to come back, terrible experience in pereira and medellin too this vacation

The room is small. It does not have a refrigerator, an electric water kettle, or a microwave. The safe does not work. Staff was called but it was not fixed at all.

While the lobby staff are nice, some can’t speak English. They don’t have receipt in English, which is inconvenient for work travel reimbursement process.

La ubicación es excelente; queda bastante cerca de todo. Tiene centro comercial, farmacia, café y restaurantes cerca. El staff es súper amable, sobretodo el que te recibe en las mañanas en el desayuno.
Las camas son duras y las almohadas muy gruesas. Tuvimos que salir a comprar almohadas para poder dormir un poco más cómodos en nuestra estadía.

They charged extra (cash only) for guests. A reciept was not given.

It was a pretty good stay. Terrific service, area of the city, and everything needed was close by. The only issue is that my flight was late and had to rearrange bookings and the price skyrocketed. After the price increase, we sought shelter elsewhere.

Hotel needs help with their rooms and amenities

Internet was terrible and did not work, no hot water on second day there, cable tv offered was so fuzzy that I couldn’t turn on the tv. Room is very small with basically no storage not even for one person and room was for three people

The place is fine, you get what you pay for. It really is nothing to write home about. The cleaning staff can be a little bit too eager to clean your room, sometimes wanting to clean even before we were out of the room, Internet access can be a but finnicky. Both of these things are nitpicks honestly, the room and the entire hotel in general was clean. The food was fine also.

It's 2022 and there is no excuse for not having reliable internet that enables one to work in the hotel. We notified the staff and they increased the 'speed' of our connection. This does NOT fix the signal to our room (spotty). Nor does it fix fundamental underlying instability in their internet service.
Medellin is known for solid internet. No excuse for this.

Beware of lengthy check-in delays but ok hotel.

This is a convenient hotel and very reasonably priced. Continental breakfast is adequate but nothing special.

Check-in service, however, was atrocious and took over 40 minutes. Too few staff. Too little focus on promptly progressing with waiting guests. We completed the documentary part of check-in earlier in the afternoon, but the key could not be released until after the scheduled check-in time. Yet, to our total disappointment, we were then bounced back in to the general check-in queue rather than someone from the check-in desk having the common sense, efficiency and professionalism to just hand over our room key card.

Hotel does not live up to their rating

I got to the hotel at 12:00 pm. I was tired and asked for an early check in. They told me check in was at 3:00 and they had no rooms clean. I sat in the lobby along with many others and was finally allowed to check in at 3:20 pm. I along with all the others waiting in the lobby were allowed to start checking in. It seemed all the rooms were cleaned and allowed to check in at exactly the same time. The rooms were small but comfortable. I called for a wake up call but the person didn’t speak English very well but I didn’t get the wake up call. I stayed at this particular hotel because on the Hotels,com site they advertised free airport shuttle. When I asked about shuttle times I was informed they didn’t have that service anymore. They did recommend a taxi site that worked with the hotel for 70,000 peso, so I booked one for an early pickup. Well upon checkout it seems that they didn’t have the taxi booked. After another 38 minutes I finally got a taxi booked for 125,000 peso and barely made my international flight. If the taxi driver hadn’t driven at a very fast speed, I would have missed my flight. I’ve stayed in many hotels that have gotten a good review and they lived up to their ratings. This hotel didn’t. I won’t stay here again

Stay away from this hotel.

I was not satisfy with this hotel as customer service was not good. They treat me as I was a criminal because I did not arrive with other guest that were staying with me, as I arrive early in an earlier flight than the other guest. Did not get a room until the night when my whole party was present. They probably scare you bring more people to the room or I don't know why. This is not a good service to not give you a room until all guest are present. Stay away from this hotel as customer service is non-existing.

BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED AT!!! First let me start off by saying that the service is absolutely nonexistent. When you arrive there is no one to greet you or offer help with your bags, you almost second guess yourself that you’re at a hotel. I asked for help with my luggage and the staff flat out refused! There is a reason why this hotel is never booked out on holidays. The hallways are very noisy and you can hear everything that is going on in the hallway. Once, there were a couple of maids loudly speaking to each other and it sounded as if they where in my room with me. I was tired from my 9 hour flight so as you would expect these unthoughtful employees woke me up. Don’t let this hotel ruin your stay in Medellin and book a different one.

I always book a stay at this hotel when I come to Medellín. During my recent stay, Ana (cook/chef) used a angry and frustrated tone of voice at me. I asked if it was possible to get the breakfast to go for my girlfriend. I asked in English and Spanish. The older man understood me but Ana was very rude and disrespectful to me. The older man was very nice and attentive. I asked the question 3 times and she ignored me then finally answered my question. I will not be staying at this hotel when I come back to Medellín due to this experience.

Great deal!

It didn't start well because we had to wait for over an hour just to check-in because there was only one lady on a Saturday night. She was very busy but she managed it like a pro I think her name was Cinthya/Lidia. The room were big enough, clean and bed was comfy. Next morning, breakfast was amazing! Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. I'd definitely book here again, but please they need more staff working on Saturday night.

One of our employees recently stayed at this hotel. He came back to his room one night soon to find out that the premises were given to another 2 guests, who were still in the room at that time. This is an appalling mistake from the hotel. Apart from putting in risk his personal security, our employee could have lost some valuable belongings as well.
