I was a bit disappointed with the hotel and would describe it average at best. The hotel pool is a nice asset if a little cold. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the drains made the whole room smell somewhat if the door was left open. The covers on the beds were also dirty. The staff were friendly.

The staff were very rude throughout the stay from front of house to the bar.
I felt unsafe in the hotel. There was a gentleman who followed the younger girls around and when it was mentioned to the hotel staff they said he hasn't done anything. However, he was following them around up to their hotel room floor and they were afraid.
One day we went for bar food at 4.01 pm but they wouldn't serve food as they said kitchen closed at 4pm. There was no food in the evening when needed after returning from a dance competition.
I couldn't sleep, the walls are paper thin and I could hear people in the next room talking.
This is not 4 star.
I would not be recommending to any of my family or friends either!

Should of known before we arrived there it was likely to be bad. The only good thing was the location and handy parking. On arriving in the hotel we were greeted with a somewhat grumpy individual who struggled speaking Spanish never mind English. He sent us up to the fourth floor even though i said 5th floor in both Spanish and English but he was insistant that room 508 was on the 4th floor. When we arrived on the 5th floor after trying the 4th floor the key did not work. We went down to replace the key to be told we were wrong. The noise levels at night from the other rooms and the bathroom plumbing is terrible. The rooms are very poorly finished with windows that don't close properly, meaning we slept in a draft all night causing my wife to get a flu. The stench of food in the room mainly the bathroom was overwhelming. There was also a problem with the toilet flushing in this very dirty bathrrom. We had been travelling solid for 6 hours so decided to proceed to the restaurant to get food to be told it was reservations only. I could go on with much more about dirty soiled carpets, curtains and general decor but won't bother as it fell on deaf ears. The same individual that greeted us couldn't be bothered to get up off his chair when we were leaving, very much a case of we have your money and F**k you

The room was filthy especially the carpet. We told the manager and he said yes I know the carpet is filthy we are waiting for a refurbishment. No way is this a 4 star hotel. The web site is very misleading. Should be taken off your booking list. We left after an hour and booked another hotel on the internet.

Fuimos a Palencia de viaje con amigas y elegimos este hotel por dos razones; 1) ubicación y 2) piscina. El hotel cumple con las expectativas pero las instalaciones/habitaciones están bastante viejas y el desayuno fue un poco decepcionante porque cuando bajamos no quedaba prácticamente nada y los camareros no sacaban más comida (a pesar de que quedaban 45 minutos de desayuno).

La habitación tenía detalles a mejorar (pelusas en los rincones, desconchones en la pintura de las paredes, en el desayuno los manteletes casi siempre estaban del revés), aunque en general, estaba bien, camas cómodas, la piscina adecuada, trato muy bueno, desayuno bien, pero no nos esperábamos estos detalles en un cuatro estrellas.

Es un hotel al que le sobra una o 2 estrellas. Es decadente. A la habitación le faltaba una nevera, tenia una silla de madera y una mesa estrecha, a pesar de que le sobraba espacio. Tuvimos que pedir una silla más, que la trajimos nosotros a la habitación. La televisión, era una pantalla de 21\", super antigua. En fin, nos fuimos un día antes, por la incomodidad del hotel.

No es un 4 estrellas

Sinceramente no es un hotel de cuatro estrellas. Las habitaciones son grandes y espaciosas, pero le hace falta reforma. Parece un hotel de los 80 con un pequeño lavado de cara hace ya demasiado tiempo. La habitación estaba en general limpia salvo por un detalle que podría indicar que no lo hacen con la pulcritud exigible. En el soporte del jabón de la ducha, aún estaba el jabón del anterior huésped, no solo los botes de champú/gel, si no también la pastilla de Jabón.
Buen precio, buenas instalaciones de cara a pasar tiempo en el hotel (piscina, zona de jardines, restaurante exterior) y bien situado cercano a zona centro.
Resumiendo, no está mal pero no es un cuatro estrellas

Una muy buena opción para visitar Palencia.

Hotel muy bien situado para visitar andando el centro histórico de Palencia.
Buena relación calidad precio.
Fácil aparcar en las inmediaciones del hotel.
No teníamos tapa luz en la ventana y una vez que lo comunicamos lo solucionaron rápidamente.
El wifi no funcionó en la habitación.

Mejorar el parking me parece imprescindible. La atencion ha sido muy buena en la recepcion, el desayuno bueno, camareros agradables. El hotel por fuera parece viejo pero las instalaciones que vi y la habitacion estaban cuidadas. En general pienso que repetiria la estáncia.

Buen lugar iniciar el recorrido por el románico

Es un hotel que necesita un lavado de cara urgente. Tuvimos un problema con las camas en habitación triple que solucionaron cambiándonos a otra habitación con una matrimonial (enormes como las americanas) y una individual en otra planta pues la cama supletoria inicial era todo menos una cama, pequeña y con un colchón que no valía nada. El desayuno estaba bastante bien para lo que se paga por la habitación bien pero lo mejor, lo cerca que estaba el hotel del centro de Palencia, cruzando el puente. Se puede aparcar fuera sin necesidad de pagar el garaje del hotel. Buena relación calidad precio
