Disappointing Experience!!!!

We really wanted to like this place as it's a nice building and scenic location although far from the center of town, however, their service and attitude left much to be desired. From the manager to the staff, the service is superficial as they don't address concerns timely and they'll shake their head or indicate it's no problem and then do absolutely nothing about it. We always request a quiet room and specify our vegan diet. We were assigned a room with a broken A/C and the staff were well aware that it was making loud noises. We had to insist that we could not try and sleep in that room for a second night so they allowed us to move just before bedtime. They also did nothing to accommodate our diet like every other hotel in Myanmar and had the most minimal options. The internet was so slow that I couldn't upload 1 photo for the almost 48 hours we were there nor wish our family and friends Happy Holidays on Christmas Day. There were excuses for all of the above when the manager was confronted. He pretended he was acting on our behalf but actually didn't follow through at all. This was such a disappointing stay given that we splurged on this hotel. We are away 42 - 70 nights every year and this was our 2nd worst experience over the past 10 years. There are better choices to spend your money with more attentive service. They have 2 good bikes - the others are dangerously unfit for the potholed dark roads leading into town so be aware. Disappointing stay!!!

We arrived very early and they allowed us to check in. Room was spacious and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. French couple run the restaurant and the food was excellent. Nice art and other touches around the property and the rooftop terrace and bar were perfect to relax in.

Quiet and comfortable room

We had a very nice stay here. Staff was very helpful. They helped us rent a boat for a day in Inle lake. The room was spacious and the breakfast was really nice. I would recommend this place and the restaurant

Really nice hotel. A little bit expensive for what you get, especially given there aren't many facilities in the hotel, but liked it anyway. Staff were really friendly and helpful. They spray the whole hotel and rooms with mosquito spray, which was a really nice touch. Room was really nice and as per the pictures. OK breakfast. About a 10-15 minute walk to the main town centre in Inle.

The first room we were put into had the strongest smell of sewage that permeated the whole room, it was room 103 on the ground floor. With this being ground level, you could not open the curtains as everyone walking by could look straight into your room so no privacy at all. We could also not open the windows to let any air in, as soon as we did this the room was full of mosquitoes as there were no flyscreens. We put up with this for 1 night hoping to he smell would get better but it didn't so we changed to a room upstairs which had no bad smell and we could open the curtains to let some light in- much better. The towels, linen and curtains are all in a very aged condition and could do with updating and some artwork on the bare white walls would not go astray for a bit of a nicer atmosphere, they'd feel a bit cell like. The beds and pillows as with almost everywhere else in Myanmar are like concrete, so uncomfortable! This hotel advertises itself as 4 star but I think 2-3 is more appropriate. On the plus sides, the staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. The hotel has direct access to the lake and a nice restaurant with lake views and is a short 5 minute walk to the town centre. There are good quality mountain bikes available to use but if you don't get them first thing in the morning, they will all be gone, very popular! I think with a bit of an update to the rooms this has the potential to be the 4 star property it claim to be.

Conveniently located for day/half day boot tours

Pleasant stay at real boutique Hotel. They really are looking after details when they built this Hotel.
Very friendly and professional staff at the reception with fairly good English.
Definitely an improvement is required for the breakfast service. Not enough staff and fairly unorganized forgetting most of the breakfast orders. Also breakfast was not buffet style and therefore the choices rather limited.

Nice hotel in Nyaung Shwe

We reached at 6am via the midnight bus and was able to check in. Hotel staff are friendly and always willing to help. Short walk to reach the bridge that connects to the main area of Nyaung Shwe. Able to book boat tour to Inle (they have their own jetty) and rent bicycle to cycle around the town itself. I will love the hotel and will definitely consider the hotel if I visit Nyaung Shwe/Inle again.

Well situated Hotel on the Inle Lake channel

few great days at Inle Lake over a long weekend. The hotel was comfortable and the staff was pleasant. The hotel is well situated with nice jetty to which you can pick up boats for daily excursion to he Lake. The little down fall is the access to the hotel, main road not finish and you must walk through gravel and dark roads at night, off the main street but hotel will provide you with torches. Did get the feeling obliviously that they were not over warmed that we were not staying at their hotel for diners. Breakfast is nice but the portions are ridiculously small and need keep asking staff for additional butter etc.. but over all a very nice pace to stay.

A charming hotel with a wonderful team of staff

I spent two nights at this hotel during my stay in Inle lake. Considering the scale of the lake, I am glad to stay in Nyaungshwe rather than a resort by the lake, thereby obviating the need for an additional hour to get to the Heho airport (from Heho airport to Nyaungshwe is 45 minutes and from Nyaungshwe to the lake is another 45 to 60 minutes).

Another reason I choose to stay here is the overall high ratings of this hotel and I believe it has a lot to do with its staff. All staff (from driver to reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff) are extremely pleasant, helpful and attentive that make you feel welcome.

The room is very clean and comfortable. The design is very tasteful and the hotel has put so much details into it. Although my first night had experienced many occasions of power shut down but I think this problem is not under the hotel's control.

Beautiful hotel!

Excellent hotel with very good service. We arrived at 5am and was allowed to check in and we were also allowed late check out at 4pm. Possibly because of low season.

There is also a dock right behind the restaurant where u can board a boat to the Inle Lake.

Launching pad for a visit to Inle Lake

We found this place on hotels.com and it didnt appear in our guide book. It looked good and was rated highly so we gave it a go.

We learned from the hotel manager during our stay that it has only been open a year (as at June 2016). It is pleasantly laid out and in very good condition.

It is situated alongside the canal so there is some boat traffic there but it is also a nice spot for people-watching as the hustle & bustle of trade takes place on the other side of the canal.

It is also slightly outside the town of Nyaungshwe so it has a comparatively peaceful vibe about it. The town is also a short walk away and worth exploring for some different food & drink options.

The hotel staff were helpful during our stay and assisted us with booking a day boat trip around the lake, exchanging money, and arranging airport transfer upon check-out.

Like this hotel as it is on the canal that boat driver can take me directly to Inle Lake! More French traveller in this hotel. Only don't like the neon White color of overhead light! Unless turn it down, and just on the other warm color light! Overall is good

Good choice for Nyaung Shwe

We had an excellent stay here for three nights at Christmas 2015. The hotel has a great location at the end of a small road (at least for now, as the lot next door is for sale). Very quiet with no road traffic, with the canal on one side and wetlands on the other side. You can walk into the town in ten minutes or less. A very nice breakfast is served along the canal side of the hotel, which also has a lovely garden. There is a lot of boat traffic on the canal but it isn't a problem noise-wise, and it's very convenient that the hotel has its own dock: you can be on the lake in around ten minutes by boat. The ownership was very solicitous and hospitable (the owners are a Franco-Burmese couple), and had a hands-on approach to working with the staff.

Great little boutique hotel.

Fantastic little hotel.
Arrived after an early morning start from Bagan, tired. A woman came out of the hotel to help us with our bags, we wondered why a tourist was taking our luggage - only to realise later that she worked at the hotel, and we found her to be most helpful. For that matter all staff were very helpful, organising boat tips to the lake, taxi's etc. the rooms were delightful, tastefully decorated. I will stay here again, as I regularly go to Myanmar.

-les cintres sont insuffisants en nombre et pas assez robustes (se tordent sous le poids des vêtements : vestes, pantalons)
-A l'ouverture du petit-déjeuner à 6H, la moitié des plats n'était pas prêt et il a fallu plus de 20 minutes pour que le buffet complet soit dressé. Gênant en cas de départ matinal (observation lac Inlé au lever du soleil ou départ matinal pour l'aéroport de Hého)

Hôtel charmant en bord de canal

Super séjour au bord du lac, l'hôtel est tenu par des Français et se trouve sur le canal qui mène au lac. Le personnel est aux petits soins et très compétent, ils se sont occupés de modifier nos billets d'avion, de réserver une balade sur le lac en bateau. L'hôtel est au calme, à 15 min à pied des restaurants du centre ville et des vélos sont à disposition gratuitement. Le petit déjeuner est très bon avec crêpes et pain frais. Les chambres sont en retrait du canal donc très calmes.

Das Jetty Restaurant mit einer stilvollen Bar hat einen eigenen Landungssteg wo ständig was läut, Leben pur! und man serviert hervorragendes Essen.

Sono stato tre notti in questo hotel. Situato a Nyaung Shwe, vicino al lago Inle. È un ottimo abbinamento di buon gusto europeo con un contesto birmano. Sia il proprietario che il manager sono francesi, molto attenti e gentili nei confronti delle necessità degli ospiti. L’hotel è molto ben disegnato e arredato, con ottimo gusto e stile. Il personale è ottimo, gentilissimo e molto presente. Le stanze molto carine e comode. Ottima la pulizia. Molto buona anche la colazione. Abbiamo fatto gite in barca al lago Inle, organizzate dallo stesso hotel, con partenza dal suo imbarcadero. Consiglio sicuramente questo hotel.

Hôtel joliment décoré,chambre très spacieuse,propre et très au calme.
Un peu loin du centre ville et les locations de vélos sur place sont 3 fois plus chères qu'au centre ville. Vu le standard et le tarif de l'hôtel, une piscine serait appréciée.
On y retrouve la zenitude de la ballade en pirogue sur le lac d'Inle.

Top Hotel am Inle See !

Das Hotel ist Nägelneu mit sehr schön gestaltetem Innenbereich und schönem Restaurant zum Kanal auf den Inle See gelegen. Dort ist auch der Hoteleigene Bootssteg von wo man bequem seine Ausflüge starten kann.
Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und sauber mit sehr angenehmen Betten und einem schönen Bad mit großer schön gestalteter Dusche. Ein absoluter Pluspunkt sind die speziell schalldichten Fenster durch die man die teilweise extrem lauten Boote auf dem stark befahrenen Kanal wirklich überhauptnicht hört! Das Hotel Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit bei jeglichen Fragen/Ausflugsplanung/Tickets ! Absolut empfehlenswert !!!

Séjour de 4 nuits dans cet hôtel plein de charme, au calme. La décoration est soignée dans le détail, le personnel est au petit soin, très accueillant, souriant, ils nous ont organisés nos transfert et nous ont donnés de bons conseils. La chambre est charmante comme le reste de l'hôtel, confortable. Le resto est au top avec des prix très abordables, une super cuisine, de super cocktails et des petits déj de folies !!! Probablement le meilleur hotel dans lequel nous avons pu séjourné durant nos trois semaines de trip à travers le Myanmar. Les chambres sont très bien équipées, spacieuses et bénéficient du literie haut de gamme. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent. Le petit déj' était parfait et la nourriture proposé au restaurant tout à fait à la hauteur. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Brès bel hôtel pour un séjour au lac Inle

Très bel hôtel avec une décoration originale et travaillée. Le propriétaire est très amical et offre de bons conseils sur les visites. Cet hôtel est très bien placé, en bordure du canal d’accès au lac, mais aussi pas loin du village, ce qui permet d’accéder facilement à la vie du village.

El mejor hotel durante mi estancia en Myanmar. Staff muy atento siempre, me ayudaron a organizar las excursiones durante 2 días, además de los traslados al aeropuerto. Hôtel très bien décoré, très bon accueil (notamment de la gérante française), belle chambre agréable, bon petit déjeuner, rooftop et possibilité de prendre un bateau directement à l'embarcadère de l'hotel.
