The room was very basic and the heating and cooling system are where the sink is in a separate area and so the room was hot and stuffy and took hours to cool off. The hot tub cannot be turned on since it’s in a closed container with a lock on. This motel does nothing to make you feel warm and welcome. The internet is minimal and the tv is old. It is clean.

Don’t let the look of the outside fool you. It is a very nice place that has recently been remodeled with new flooring and paint. The carpet was so soft. The room was huge. The pool could have been a little bit warmer but it was fantastic. I couldn’t turn the jets on for the hot tub and it looked like someone tried to rip the lockbox that was over it off of the wall.

If you ride a motorcycle know the parking is terrible rocky, uphill, and at a slope, also no early check in, and they will not let you leave your luggage with the front desk, they do not even open until 3.

Someone described this as luxurious--I'm sorry. I felt it was a Route 66 motel in need of updating. The only luxurious thing was the size of the room. The beds were okay. The bathroom was separated into 2 rooms. One with the closet & sink. The heater in this room we could not get turned on. The other was the stool and shower/tub. There was no heater. We did find a portable heater in a closet, so we used that to warm up that area before we showered. We got in late, so didn't see the pool & spa area. It was the only motel in this small town, and I thought it was overpriced for the condition of the motel. No breakfast, either. Had to drive through 2 more towns to find a restaurant. Pretty remote area after going through Brice Canyon and heading up to I-70. I'm glad there was a motel to sleep, but I would certainly not call it luxurious!

Bicknell is a great spot for staying after hiking the Capital Reef. This motel was all we needed, a clean and comfortable bed and a clean room. We enjoyed the spa and pool after our hikes. This place is not shiny and new which was fine for us. The coffee pot was not working but there are places to pick up coffee along the way to Capital Reef. I have to highly recommend that you try Curry Pizza in Bicknell. Wow!

The room is quite large and spacious. Fairly new carpet. Everything was clean and set up well. The hot tub is a soaking tub - no jets. The pool is nice to swim a few laps in. Plenty of deck chairs around the pool. Pool and hot soaking club are clean and neat. Covered which is great because the evening winds can pick up. The wifi was poor. My computer would not connect to it. I was able to connect my phone, but then it would drop. Wifi was useless (yes, I reported it to the registration desk). Staff was professional and kind.

For the price I expected better. The room was much larger than other hotels, but nothing has been updated in decades. Thin towels, old bed spreads, no way to turn on the hot tub jets. They are making a killing having limited options near Capitol Reef. So it wasn’t “bad” just pricey for what you get.

This place is a hidden gem. The Motel sign and older exterior might deter some but the quality of stay is high. Rooms are spacious and clean and well kept, towels are on the cheap side, cable TV has tons of channel. Beds are quite comfy. Best part is the indoor pool as a great added bonus, hot tub does not have accessible button to trigger the blower. Wall is a bit thin so outside noise can be heard. Staff are efficient and friendly. We would defiinitely stay here agqain.

Main issue was the hot tub jets do not work, which the indoors hot tub was the main reason we booked this location over others. Very disappointed after a long travel and hiking day.
Can't recommend, however have not stayed at others in the area.

I reserved a non-smoking room, but the room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke.
Since we had already brought in a lot of heavy luggage, I didn’t request a room change.
The bathroom curtain, in particular, smelled quite strongly of smoke.
Additionally, to use the laundry facilities, you need to request a key to the laundry room from the staff.
My children also wanted to swim in the pool, but it was closed and covered with a sheet.
I also stopped by the fitness room, but some of the equipment was unusable because the cables were broken.

The bathtub had no hot water, the toilet was the loudest toilet I’ve ever heard. Hotels.com rep said the hot tub was working. It was closed for the season when we arrived. Yes the website says the pool is closed but fails to mention the hot tub closed, are we to assume it’s talking about both?

The rooms are much older than they look in the photos, and the towels are super old. Our request for an extra hour for checkout was declined. We left 12 minutes after checkout time but even before then the owner was INSIDE our room to tell us that we were trespassing and threatened to call the cops!!!! Eventhough we were clearly packed and just had to get our bags in the car. The hotel was almost empty with only 3 vehicles in the parking lot. I guess i found out the hard way why.

My stay at Aquarius Inn was excellent! The couple who owns and runs the property are super friendly and helpful. They were a pleasure talking to. For the Inn itself, it was very clean and the rooms are HUGE! I would definitely recommend staying here. There's also an excellent American-Filipino restaurant walking distance from the Inn that I would highly recommend as well. Very tasty!

The room was excellent. Everything was recently remodeled and clean and it had everything. Great amenities and plenty of plugs for powering devices. What I hated and would cause me to never stay there again were the offensive extremely bright lights on the outside of the pool pointing uselessly to the outside so that you could not see a single star in this allegedly dark sky area. The lights were left on 24 hours and were not necessary at all and were way too bright. There were other offensive lights also left on all night for no reason. For shame.

This was a strange little motel. Not unpleasant, but quirky. The check-in service was super friendly. The room was extremely large (about 400 sf), but didn't have much furniture. The two queen beds were so far apart that it was very hard to reach the single night table between them.

The area around this motel had virtually no basic services. By not even 9 p.m., there was nowhere left to buy food—every shop was already closed. The only pizza place the owner told us should still be open had also closed by the time we arrived, just minutes after checking in. The next morning, the only option for something to eat was a gas station; otherwise, we would have had to drive all the way to Torrey.

Despite charging the highest rate of our entire trip, this motel offered almost no convenience. We couldn’t even meet the most basic need of having a meal.
