We stayed in the Eliza Romantic apartment. The room was outdated, pool and amenities were dirty on both days, no signs of any cleaning. The room was spacious, with new aircon, but in need of a new coat of paint and spa bath replaced. Location has a country feel and is close to Mornington shops

Overall room was ok, clean and tea/coffee making available. The bed seemed quite hard to my wife but was ok for me. TV did not work on free to air channels so could only get 9Now digital and couldnt download any other TV apps.

Great location for us

Laurie the owner was lovely. I phoned ahead to advise we were running late & it wasn’t a problem.

On arrival we chatted with Laurie for about 1/2 hr - great communication and quite a lot in common with us. Lots of plans to change how the venue and how it is used.

On approach the accommodation looks in need of tlc but it’s happening.

Our room was very comfortable and had all we needed for a nights stay.

The property is convenient if you were attending a function at the premises. The room could benefit from a refurbishment. The tiny ensuite ceiling needed painting. It had brown stains and mould. There were patches on the walls in the bedroom. All walls needed painting. There were strips of forimca off the cabinetry.

The advertising depict a clean, modern well run conference centre and it's nothing like it. Totally run down premisses. The premises are used for housing permanent residents, that come across like being on the welfare system. This meant that there was music all night long and people coming and going. Picture missing off the wall. Garden not keep. Rooms not clean, lots of hair on the floor in the bathroom.

Bed was clean and fresh. It is a case of you get what you pay for. The owner was helpful and friendly. Towels need replacing. Bathroom is only big enough for one person. Badly in need of renovations which l believe will be addressed. Noisy neighbours made sleep impossible on the last night.

Very conveniently located between Frankston and Mornington, the two places where I had to go.
The room smelled stuffy and smoke from outside had probably entered the room.
No ironing board or hangers were provided.
The images provided online do not truly reflect the condition of the property.

To say the room was ‘tired’ is an understatement. To describe the room as a suite was a stretch. The spa bath was in disgusting condtion. Duct tape was used to kerp curtains closed. Toilet seat was broken - slipped and slided. Behind the toilet disgusting. Fridge leaked. Mosquitos in the room each night was the bathroom ( toilet or under the spa?).

Couldn’t fill the kettle as it didn’t fit under tap in the bathroom sink ( tiny).

Reception was a big clue - dirty and grubby.

Also, there was a scheduled power outage during my stay on one day from 8am to 3pm. The property manager was given three weeks notice - he only advised me of the outage by slipping a copy of the notice the day before the outage. The room was unusable for most of the day. Appalling customer service really. What a joke.

Worst room I have ever stayed in a motel or hotel over 50 years of travel.

Musty smell in the room , walked in to a spider running across the bed, a slug on the shower wall and bathroom full of mosquitoes. Room and bathroom really needs a coat of paint to freshen it. Mosquitoes buzzing all night made for a terrible sleep. Glad it was one night.

Try something else if you're in the area!

Other guests were far too noisy (particularly outside their rooms) after 10pm and we had to let them know at 11:30 at night enough is enough. They started up again at 7am with no concern for other guests.
Staff were advised on check out and apologised which is fine however, their job is to monitor and ensure guests adhere to normal (expected) rules.
The room and bathroom were old, not very clean and very small. We did not use the shower!

Stayed in the King Spa room. Had a peculiar issue with no hot water only in the Spa/Shower! Managed to get some on site assistance followed up by further assistance being called in. Problem was resolved much to everyone’s pleasure. Would rate the check in and service as being excellent and very appreciated. Outside of that the hotel appears a bit dated, housekeeping was good but the air conditioning in this room needs replacing as was not cold and more like a fan!

Pleasant staff, average accommodation. Unfortunately can’t recommend as I was woken every hour or so through the night by a noisy neighbor or a bug flying in my ears/nose/etc. not sure how they kept getting in the room as we checked ask the doors and windows, and every time we woke up again we touched on the lights and seated every one we saw.. made for an unpleasant mint with little rest. Would have appreciated a heads up, bug spray, or a mosquito net for the bed.

When we checked in we got hit with an extra $25 charge for requesting twin beds!! Never ever had that happen before!! Bathroom extremely narrow, carpet was worn out & stained. Linen very clean & fresh. Didn't find girl on desk at check in very helpful, man this morning very pleasant.

All one needs for a comfortable stay with self-contained conveniences such as stove, small fridge and microwave, tea & coffee jug, cutlery & crockery. lovely peaceful stay, bed was fine, all was good, would definitely stay there again. my only complaint would be is that it was a rainy night when we stayed and arriving in the dark , with the rain, the signage out the front was barely visible....and on such a busy road also. MINOR COMPLAINT........Thank you for a lovely and pleasant stay.
