We were upgraded at their sister property Hotel Victor, literally just across the road. Staff were very helpful and it was surprisingly quiet, bed realky comfortable and everything spotless snd well maintained. Highly recommended

The staff were amazing and very accommodating. Unfortunately the property is a little dated and the rooms particularly small. The location was great close to Victoria tube station and bus station. With plenty of good dining options locally. You must try the Queens Arms for an evening meal 3 minutes walk from hotel. Our stay was pleasant due friendly staff. The property has no lift and we were 4th floor Attic. We are elderly people so struggled but didn’t want to complain as the staff were awesome. Would choose a bigger place next time.

I booked Mornington but at arrival told there are issues with room and had to go to Victor instead. I was not informed prior to arrival. The check in clerk at Mornington was friendly and apologetic and help me find second hotel. The check-in clerk then was dismissive and not had a welcoming experience. Ask for help with aircon ans he never came to room. Contrast to the check out clerk Jeffrey was vert friendly.

The rooms are very small. Only enough room to just manoeuvre around the bed and have suitcases standing. There was a lot of mould in the shower as the fan wasn’t working. Let front desk know. The reception area was clean and smelt clean. Staff were supportive with holding our suitcases before we could check in.

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were a little small with having to put our bags on the floor. There were no towel racks, so our towels never really dried.
There is no elevator, which we were informed of prior to being put on the 4th floor. Note the 4th floor is actually the 5th floor and up 7 flights of stairs (75 steps). We just considered it part of our fitness program.

This is a nice hotel, good location to the tube, restaurants and shopping. Rooms were nice, we were upgraded to the top floor - 87 steps and no elevator! We were good with this, but something to note if you have mobility issues.

The staff were great - friendly and helpful and offered a great suggestion for coffee (The Roadting) just down the street. The only issue we had was that we had booked a “Superior Twin Room,” but when we first checked in, we were assigned a room in the basement where there was no window. I don’t think that’s even legal in Canada because there’s no secondary exit if there’s a fire. I requested a different room and they were able to move us the next day. The rooms were clean and the AC works really well but they are tiny tiny. The picture shows a gap between the beds and the nightstand but in truth there isn’t any space. Despite the size, the room was comfortable.

This has got to be one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in London. It’s quiet, incredibly beautiful and perfectly located - 9min walk to Pimlico station and 12min walk to Victoria. Great restaurants around. The rooms are on the smaller side but we absolutely loved it. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Bedrooms very small didn't realize no elevators. Biggest small room I have ever seen was on 4th floor. I realize some things cant be changed. But small thoughtful gestures would ease disappointment of rooms. For example upon arrival most people exhausted from travel offer a refreshment drink. Anyway should have done more research.

I hope this message finds you at all, as we tried contacting you using 3 different methods before sending this review.
My companion and I recently stayed at your hotel and, whilst we appreciated the welcome and courteous staff, we unfortunately encountered a few issues that impacted the quality of our stay. Indeed, the most pressing concern was the broken air conditioning in our room. As a result, the room became very hot and humid, which made it difficult to sleep. Upon informing the staff, we were advised to open the window for ventilation; however, this led to another issue, as we then had to contend with multiple insects entering the room despite keeping the lights off, further disturbing our rest, as well as requiring us to spend extra time and energy to get rid of those insects. Additionally, we were woken up by a fire drill, which added to the overall disruption to our short 2-day stay.

A good base for our adventures
Four of us (all adults) spent two nights in London and had reserved three rooms at the hotel months in advance. When we arrived, we learned that their booking service had a blip and only two of our rooms were available ... the third room (the one my boyfriend and I stayed in) was around the corner in another of their hotels (the Victor). While slightly inconvenient, it worked out okay and they were super apologetic. The room itself was comfortable, though two things didn't quite live up to our standards ... the full-sized bed was a little smaller than we are used to and didn't have a lot of support underneath the edges (we both almost slid off it a couple of times when we got too close to the edge LOL) ... and there were multiple little bugs in the shower (not harmful at all, but a little gross). To be fair, we didn't complain about either of these and didn't give the hotel a chance to do anything about them ... we were very tired from our journey and more concerned about just enjoying the city. We slept well and the location served as a good base for our adventures :)

Such a friendly welcome. Quick check-in. Well apointed luxury feel twin room. Lovely cotton bedding comfy bed. Beautifully clean bathroom with decent products free to use. So quiet too. Security was good in the evening. I absolutely will come back when im in london. Great value for money.

This is a good hotel particularly for its short distance to Lancaster Gate tube. It was clean and tidy and it was good to be able to open windows without being too noisy outside. Our room was near the lift which occasionally woke us up. I would stay here again.

Catfish photos - Photos don’t show that you are 2 levels down with no window (just a sky light above). Also, there is barely enough room to open two carry-ons, so I cannot imagine the pain of staying with bigger luggage. As these were things we didn’t really care much about, we would’ve had a great stay, but the cleaning staff threw out a whole bag of our toiletries for no reason, and have yet to reimburse us. Clean, and a nice area though.

Disorganised and Poorly Run!
Arrived at the hotel at 3:30pm to be told the hotel was fully booked and the only room they had available was a single when I paid for a superior double room 4 weeks in advance! Then we're told they have a double room but was not ready yet when the email told us we could check in a 2pm. The guests in front of us also were unhappy as they discovered there were guests already in the room when they checked in. Disorganised and poorly run are the words I'd use. (I would like to point out that Jeffrey working front of house was nice and really tried to get the situation resolved).
We ended up getting a double standard room which we settled for as we needed to stay in the area for a marathon. Obviously still upset as we paid extra for the superior room. I was told the hotel would reach out by Monday 7th April to discuss my compensation but have yet to receive this.
The room we got was very tiny and compact but comfort was still okay. As long as check in doesnt get messed up I'd recommend.

NO MATRESS PROTECTORS
The hotel in question cancelled our booking at 8pm the day we were due to check and moved us to 'Mornington Hotel London Victor Belgravia'. I was then told, despite being moved to a whole new hotel, I could not get a refund. We then went to the Mornington Victoria and was asked to present a physical card for a 'security deposit'. I then asked what the deposit was for, of which the reply was ' a deposit for the security'. That didn't clarify a lot... It was obviously a newly refburshed, modern hotel. The rooms were very well decorated with a large bed and TV. However, I don't know how it's possible to be a modern hotel and NOT HAVE A MATRESS PROTECTOR. The mattress had a 4 inch think layer of yellow foam lay on top and the mattress itself was severely stained. Not having a mattress protector is disgusting and put a shadow over the whole trip. Would love to come back as we're regularly in London but feel worried staying in a hotel that doesn't use mattress protectors as standard.

1 - I went to the address I booked the hotel just to get there and be send to another address
2 - Despite telling the reception that part of the curtain could not be closed, nothing was done. The bedroom got light in the morning which I do not like or desire

4- The mattress topper is bigger than the mattress and I keep sliding
5 - in my booking I was told the room was sound proof but it definitely was not. I could hear all the noise from the noise from the hotel and from the street.
5 - I booked a superior room but, in my opinion, that room is not a superior room and there was hardly any space for 2 small luggages and hardly any space to hang clothes.
All in all not a good experience and I will not be back in this hotel or recommend it.

In the photos the rooms looked small but adequate. In reality the first room I was offered was tiny! The bed was crammed into a space under the window was small and only accessible from one side and no room even to put a bag in the room!! I asked for another room and got one slightly bigger but still tiny! The bathroom was new and nearly as big as the bedroom. It was on the 3rd floor and no lift but lots of steep stairs. No good for older people or children!! We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left after 1 due room! Would never stay again! The photos are deceptive!

Beautiful street; Building converted from flats or apartments, so inside is ultra modern for those that like that. Rooms are tiny but clean and quiet, except when other guests are inconsiderate. I had a nice stay and slept well. These supposedly energy saving UK upgrades to electricity and tech should require multiple adapters US;UK;EU in room. Still need adapters when traveling. Big drawback is no lift. No Lift!

Booked a double room when i arrived at the property with my little baby, when i opened the door of the my room it was a twin room. I immediately went to reception to complain, the guy said ‘this is the only room available, i can cancel and you can find another place to stay’ imagine the anger?? At 11pm! Only reason I booked this hotel was because they had a double room available but clearly they didnt? He said it was not available so we joined 2 single beds? My pregnant wife and little baby had to suffer all night! I called the hotel twice prior to attending to ensure everything was in place, specifically asking to not be in the basement too and i was told “dont worry your double room is not in the basement. In the morning when checking out i asked to speak to a manager and was told rudely ‘she is busy’ so i walked out and contacted expedia - expedia contacted the hotel and the hotel LIED by saying they gave me a king size bedroom? And courtesy checked on us twice? Which they did not. Thank goodness i took photos and videos of my room. Expedia contacted again and were told by the hotel that they will offer me £10 compensation. I don’t know whether this was to add salt to the wound?

Very quiet, comfortable and clean room. However, I personally think it’s not necessary to have all those cushions in that particular small (standard double) room. It really get in the way when you think about any emergency situation plus you get no room for your belongings.

Very clean. And friendly staff. Incredibly small rooms though, & no lift. Even smaller than Amsterdam, and much more expensive. Nice though. Same price as Hilton/ Holiday Inn. Depends on what you’re looking for.

This whole town is an old converted London townhome. Extremely convenient to Victoria station which is a transportation hub. Many of the townhomes have been transformed into boutique hotels. Our room had an unusually large bathroom however the sleeping space was so minute that you could not walk around the bed and had to climb on top of your partner to get to the other side. However that bed was luxurious and extremely comfortable.
