This is a very comfortable hotel, very well-located. I stayed here often when it was a LaQuinta, and was happy with it then. Since Days Inn has taken it over the rooms have been refreshed, and the beds and pillows are more comfortable.
The outdoor pool is really an excellent way to unwind after a long day.
When I was struggling with the waffle maker, the woman at the front desk heard the “I’m not happy” sound that the waffle maker was emitting and came over to show me how to use it. Not only very kind of her, but it meant that I actually was able to make a waffle!
It appears very dated from the outside, but don’t let that put you off. It’s a nice place,

My daughter and I went to the pool and for the pool a bracelet is required. A guest from the hotel went to the pool without a bracelet, to me, the guest looked suspicious and we were not comfortable with his presence. An employee ( a young man) went to the pool and talked to the guest and the guest left a few minutes later. I really appreciate the young man employee for being on the look out and caring for the hotel guests. Thank you.

The staff could not have been friendlier and nicer!!! In fact, the guy washing the floor this morning, offered his arm to me so I wouldn’t slip on the floor to the Breakfast room!! Then, when I walked back out… he was dry mopping it, for me!!! He deserves a nice Bonus for his kindness!!!

We are an older couple staying for a couple of nights and the room was meant for a family with little children as the toilet was very small and extremely low, the sink was lower for easier child reach and there were NO support in the form of bars or anything else for older individuals. This needs to be noted by staff checking people in. The room is not very comfortable or safe for older individuals.

The staff here is always nice. They did stay a new bracelet system with the pool system, pool is only for guests. The floor to our room could've been mopped better. Other than that we enjoy it here.

Breakfast, no yogert, no butter, no eggs, but they had link sausage??? Go figure. I guess they wanted you to eat those waffles you make yourself, but still no butter. The area was spotless clean, which was a bonus.

Good value for the price. Older property with updates. Clean rooms. Fun retro vibe. Solid breakfast. Great pool for a budget stay.
Our family travels to Del Rio a few times a year. We usually stay somewhere else or in an Airbnb, and only book here when those aren’t available at the price we want. We’re typically in town for a long weekend and just need a good budget place since we don’t spend much time in the room.
This property has been remodeled since our last stay. It still has that ‘70s/’80s layout and feel, both inside and out, but they’ve done a really good job cleaning it up. The rooms are updated, nice, and comfortable. The hard surface flooring is a big upgrade — much better than carpet.
If you’re on the first floor, the rooms have two doors — one to the outside and one to the interior hallway — just something to be aware of depending on what you prefer.
They really leaned into that ‘70s/’80s vibe in the breakfast area. The flooring is colorful and fun, and the furniture matches it. It actually made me chuckle — I enjoyed it.
Breakfast itself was solid and better than expected for this price range.
The staff were very accommodating and easy to be around. It had more of a laid-back, family-type feel rather than being overly formal, which we liked. They showed some flexibility that really helped our family, and my daughter and her friend had a great time at the pool.
The pool had just been reopened (either for the season or after weather), and they got it ready as soon

Front desk was nice. However, every night someone was messing with my car. I woke up to black marks on both sides of my car one night. My trunk was messed with. And another morning had a piece of plastic on my windshield- come to find out it was the windshield wiper panel- like really y'all wanna steal my wipers? ☠️.

Staff was very friendly. Clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was top notch. Different variety of dishes every morning. Coffee was excellent. Very nice way to start the day!! Parking was abundant with no issues at all. Was working out if town in Del Rio and rolling in at 4am after working with my truck and trailer I had no issues parking. Highly recommend Days Inn and will be no doubt staying there again if the opportunity arises in the future.

The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. The only thing I can think of as an inconvenience during my 7 night stay was my hotel key didn't work at one of the hotel side entrances and at the entrance to the pool. Parking was very convenient and the lot was clean and I felt safe.
