I am still waiting on my refund. The reception is gave us a room that was already occupied. By the time I get back to try to get a different room, the whole lobby was closed. There was no receptionists available. We had to get another room down the street.

I was very disappointed with my stay. I’ve stayed at this property before, and it used to be much better maintained, which is why I chose to return.

Unfortunately, this visit was a completely different experience. The pool did not appear to be properly maintained, and the room itself looked like it had not been kept up. The overall condition of the property did not match the quality I experienced during previous stays, and it did not meet my expectations.

I hope management takes these concerns seriously and invests in better maintenance and upkeep so future guests have a better experience. Based on this stay, I would not choose to stay here again.

Our tub did not drain water and the parking lot and grounds were not maintained well. The sign was broken and so we almost drove past the hotel due to a late night check in. The next morning we could see that a banner is hanging over the sign but because it was windy; the banner was half blown off. When we went to check out, no one was in the office and we called the number on the sign at the desk but there was no answer. This was after we rang the bell. I opted to leave the keys on the counter and send a text with a pic to show that I left the keys. Finally someone came from the back and seemed to be interrupted by us. Very strange. I had stayed here before a couple years ago and was saddened to see how things had gone downhill. The room was clean and the bed was okay but otherwise we won’t be returning.

This hotel is in need of serious refurbishment. The hall carpets were filthy. The room furniture is falling apart with gouges and missing handles. The vanity mirror had only 1 bulb, 2 were missing. No hairdryer. The sheets and spread were dirty. Breakfast included was only served until 8:00 am so missed that.

The main issue we had was that we were traveling with our 9-month-old, and had checked both online and by calling ahead to confirm that there would be a crib available, but when we arrived we were informed that the hotel did not have any cribs. One of the staff who was on duty (Sylvia, I think) was very helpful in trying to help us come up with alternatives, but being told by someone else that there were cribs when there weren't was pretty crummy. Other than that, there were some issues with the room (grimy air vents, water damage in a few spots, broken door latch on one of the interior doors), and the \"continental breakfast\" had spoiled juices and stale cereal.

When I arrived no one was at the front counter , had to ring a bell and wait. Room was old and didn’t have any table lamps only one porch light they had hung on the ceiling . All the plugs were loose . Microwave did not work . Gum was stuck on the top of the headboard. They advertise hot breakfast eggs sausage etc. they had none of that . Even the coffee that was made was Luke warm from the night before . No microwave to warm it up. Guess you get what you pay for . Would not recommend this place .

Our first room with the king bed we reserved was atrocious. Black mold in shower, brown stained baseboards maybe from flooding? Walls chipped up and a coke had exploded in the freezer but had not been cleaned. We quickly got another room on 2nd floor but had to settle for 2 Queens. That room was spotless and appeared newly renovated. The pillows and bed were extremely comfortable. The flooring is all vinyl, no carpeting. The hallway carpeting needs to be replaced. Staff were all friendly and attentive.

When you walk in, small living area looks nice. Yet, there is a door that leads into bathroom and another door leading to bedroom. So, door between bedroom and bathroom does not lock. If someone is in bathroom, anyone thats in the bedroom can walk in. The toilet in the bathroom wasn't fully functioning, we had the clerk come in and fix it .

For the price, it was honestly great. The staff was helpful too. But the furniture and floor were dirty. One of the electrical outlets basically prolapsed when I plugged in my phone charger. Good if you’re just passing through.

For an overnight stay it was adequate, but not up to expectations. The room was spartan (i.e. only 1 hand towel & washcloth, 1 nightstand light, no sitting chair) Most disappointing was breakfast: no coffee; egg scramble was out & not replaced. The best things were the cleanliness of the room & helpful staff.

Poor amenity info on the website. Room needed work

We went to del rio to deer hunt. The website said thier free breakfast started at 4:30am. This would have allowed us to eat before going to the property to hunt each morning. The hotel desk informed us it didn’t start until 6am which was not possible for us and still make the morning hunt. It was one of the main reasons I book here. We had to pay for breakfast at IHOP each morning. This was an added cost and less convenient.
