We didn’t even stay after seeing 2 different rooms. First room had cigarette burns all over the comforter, was dirty, smelly and the pillows were flat and gross. If you look at the heater (which was blowing on high heat and couldn’t be adjusted) there was scum all over the vent blowing out. The room stunk of cigarettes. You had to walk behind a building to get to the room and it really wasn’t safe.
They moved us to a different room and it was slightly better smell wise but still gross. The bed was hard as a rock and didn’t even sink when you sat in it.
We went to the front to get a refund. Raj (manager?) had to be convinced to give us a refund. While we waited, we were in the “breakfast” area. Two small tables crammed in a very small space. The bar where “breakfast” takes place was about 3 feet long and already full with a drink machine.
We booked this hotel because we were celebrating new years at my brothers 3 miles away and just needed a bed for the night. I read reviews and people stated it was clean and comfortable.

No pet fee for our dog was a plus but our room had a very very strong bleach odor. It was a clean cute corner room with a jacuzzi but the bed was not good. You could feel the springs and it was a bit hard to me. The jacuzzi was nice but it was awkward having it also as the \"tub\" part of taking a shower. Overall we would stay here again.

Everything was fine, my only complaint was one creepy man sitting in a chair in the doorway with his door open for hours. The room above was a couple of people hanging out on the balcony, drinking and smoking all night. One spitting onto the lower level and nearly hit me with with his spit as I was walking into my room. They were standing outside for most of the night and talking very loudly. If it wasn't for the trashy people who seem to live there I would have rated my stay higher.

This hotel looked like it was constructed in the 40’s and hasn’t been updated since. My door wasn’t very secure I had to lift up on the handle to get the dead bolt to lock. There was a huge gap under the door. Th bathroom was extremely small and had stains everywhere. The room smelled funny, found no bugs thankfully. Tv was very small and the lighting sucked. The power strip that was built into the night stand didn’t work. I booked this because of the price and it had a pool, no mention of the pool not being open. Very disappointing. Asked for an invoice at check out and was told that I couldn’t get one bc I booked through hotels.com. I would not ever recommend staying here to anyone

The toilet was always clogged. I had to get a plunger every time I used it. The manager even said he had a power plunger, which means the problem is persistent. The chair in the room was shoddy. The pillows were comfortable, and it had good air conditioning.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. The rooms were dirty and clearly not cleaned properly before check-in. On top of that, the customer service was downright rude and unhelpful any time I asked for assistance. There were no refreshments or basic amenities available, which made the experience even worse. Overall, it was an unpleasant stay, and I will definitely not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone. Avoid if you can.

As always, we love Red Roof's pet friendly policies and the affordable pricing. But that comes with a cost. This property was very beat and the check-in staff was not friendly. There was some kind of insect in our bathroom. The door didn't fit the door frame very well (you could see a sliver of light from the outside where it should have been sealed). Still, for a short stopover on a long trip it was perfectly fine. Linens were clean. We didn't expect the Waldorf Astoria, and we didn't get it.

The receptionist was rude and not helpful at all. The rooms were dirty, sheets were stained, bathrooms were falling apart and floors hadn’t been vacuumed in what looked like a month. We stayed 2 nights and when we came back on the 2nd day, one of our rooms was still open from when housekeeping game through. Nothing seemed to be missing, but the fact that they couldn’t shut the door was disturbing. We also had to go have the desk reprogram our keys because when we came back, none of our keys worked. Luckily housekeeping left one of our rooms door open so we could at least set our stuff down while I waited for the girl at the front desk to finish microwaving her lunch before she would walk back over to the desk and help me with my keys.

This was an anniversary weekend so we reserved the room with the hot tub. We arrived an hour after check in starts and were rudely told to wait at least 15 minutes more because they were still cleaning the room. We were tired but waited about 20 -25 to be safe. Walking into the bathroom we noticed a multitude of disappointing concerns in this room. Both exhaust fans and light over the hotub were hanging down lose from the ceiling and when turned on they would tick loudly. We turned the water on for the hottub and it was a very small trickle and took over 20 minutes to get warm. The jet control knobs are dirty or discolored(looks like mold to me specifically). The bed was amazingly comfortable as were the two chairs but the overall experience was disappointing and quite honestly not worth the money spent.

So for starters this room smelled as if its been smoked in. The toilet wasnt properly cleaned, had to clean it myself so my child could use the bathroom. Also as seen in the pic, i had to use a towel to clog the tub to run some water just to bathe my daughter. By my being a bigger guy i couldnt even shower or take a bath. The shower wasnt working and the tub drain was broke. Management wasnt helpful at all. Told the manager and he just shrugged it off. I WOULD NOT REFER ANY ONE HERE!!!!

I had what was suppose to be a clean towel but it was covered in stained grime. I watched the housekeeping staff clean a room next to me when before checking out. They did not mop the bare floor, they didnt have a vaccum & they only washed towels & washclothes, no sheets, no blankets!!! We traveled to Franklin, IN for the solar eclipse as did many others and opted to stay at the Red Roof Inn simply because it was the least expensive of all the lodging options in the area and I couldn’t stomach paying $500-600 for a single nights lodging elsewhere. That said, I expected to get what we paid for. The room itself was minimally stocked with towels, washcloths, etc. and offered little else. It looked like it hadn’t been updated in about 15 years or more. The linens on the bed had a funky smell and required me to spray my husband’s cologne on them just so I could get past it and fall asleep. I was hesitant to walk on the floors without my shoes on. However despite the less than ideal room conditions, the bed was amazingly comfortable!

No hand rails on either side of the only 2, very steep, wooden plank steps to the second floor rooms. I have never seen any stairs without hand rails in this modern safety era of OSHA. I do not believe their stairs are legal! I will never stay here again!

The Red Roof Inn was \"nothing fancy\" but it was perfect for my purposes. The check in person was friendly and helpful, recommended the restaurant next door which was reasonable and excellent. My dog was welcome too - hospitality staff was friendly. Room was clean, location convenient.

The front desk gentlemen. Actually stayed in the room next to ours. Kept asking friends during the eclipse if they were staying in our room. Actually took 50.00 after check out when clearly we cleaned the room stripped the beds took out trash to make sure it was clean. Room was just not been up kept had a musty smell beds were uncomfortable staff was rude very nosey and stopped and watched up unload the car. Watching my kids and staying in the room next to ours in the dark i was very creeped out by this man's and his staff behavior. It was only place not sold out during the eclipse and now i see why. But stealing 50.00 from me by knowing there was no damage or anything done to that room was a low move especially when we just spent 700.00 with you!! I pray for people like you 🙏
