I’ve stayed here several times while traveling in the past… It’s in a kinda sketchy area but the rooms are passable and I usually just need a bed… this time I out at check in they now require a $100 deposit which completely negates the point of staying somewhere cheap. Mattress was so thin it was like sleeping on plywood… then, over an hour before check out, staff let themselves into my room without knocking or announcing themselves! Just opened the door and started coming in while I was changing. Not worth it…

I felt incredibly unsafe at this hotel. There were lots of criminally oriented people harrassing and making threats, I think my vehicle was broken into as well. Some of the staff were awesome, but others were deranged, uncouth and bizarrely homophobic.

Rooms are very basic.
No fridge, no coffee maker, no blow dryer. Door lock needs repairs window aire conditioner was not secure, allowed easy access to the room from outside.
Booked with expedia for a better room rate. Regular room rates are out to lunch for what you get.
Front desk staff named Cash, was exceptional and the only reason i didnt change hotels.

We expected a budget motel. But....room was sort of clean. Beds moved when you sat on them. The mattresses were noisy.. Beds were extra firm and pillows were pancake flat. The parking was cramped. Several Spectrum trucks in the lot. Multiple Spanish speaking men outside our room talking LOUDLY till after 11 pm. Did not feel safe or comfortable.

Couldn’t change room as full. Cash was at desk and did a wonderful job at trying but machine wouldn’t make a key that would open door

The majority of the rooms were under renovation and I had been move three times during my two nights. The rooms there were assigned to me was under renovations, and not finished at all. The headboard suppose to have lights and any of the room I was in had them. I was charged full price for rooms that they had no been finished. It was a bad experience overall. I was charge twice for the deposit even though the deposit was refunded a day after. Not going back to that property.

This motel was not great. The outside was run down. The pool was closed. We had no chairs in the room. The front desk was horrible when i checked in but when i checked out, the guy was apologetic. Check was indian guy(push start) and check out was a white guy. The walls are paper thin. We got to listen to a baby cry all night. Not the babies fault. The ice machine was not working. Light came through where the ac u it was. Pay the extra to stay somewhere else..

The staff are rude. They accused us of stuff we didnt do. Didnt supply proof. Charged us over 850 in \"damages\" and refuse to speak to us about what its for. A shelf fell off the wall in the middle of the night. I took several pictures of it. Spoke to front desk in the morning and explained it fell and it woke us up (wasnt due to us). Front desk ensured no one was hurt and said they were refunding our security deposit. Apparently manager decided otherwise? I called and they declined to discuss it or provide alternative numbers to talk to. Outside of this they have motel workers living on the property with broken down cars who were rude and demanded we move our cars (from in front of our rooms) so they could have more spaces near their room. Managers dont speak english well and just refuse to discuss

Not a good place to stay for the price we paid. Unsafe stairs, uneven parking lot surfaces. Outside appearance was dirty but the rooms were fairly clean. AC window units do not look like they are structurally secured. Needs more renovation work. Would not recommend for elderly people.

I made and paid for this reservation via Expedia. Upon my arrival at the property, the front desk staff asked for my card to charge $100 security deposit for incidental charges. I agreed and provided him with my credit card. To my surprise he charged me $124.16. When I mentioned this to him, he said to give him my credit card again which I did. And then he charged $100. And I told him that you have charged me twice he denied. I opened my credit card app and showed him all three charges by Expedia, and the two charges by the motel. He denied charging twice! His colleague came, and after much argument with me, they finally figured it out that they have charged me the $124.16 in addition to the other charges. Thankfully, they agreed to reverse the extra charge, but I felt their mistake was not innocent. It is worth the investigation for the management to make sure such a mistake does not happen repeatedly affecting other customers.

The room itself had some problems. I stayed at room 233 which appeared to have been remodeled recently. The faucet was not properly fastened and it came off created a loud noise. There’s no shampoo in the room. And the door knob works the reverse direction, which is confusing.

Overall, it was a horrible experience. I ran this matters to the management the following morning, she apologized. I appreciate that. I will never stay at this property again.

Check in was a pain. We had two rooms booked through Travelocity but the hotel clerk said we only had one. Despite having \"plenty\" of rooms avaliable, and being shown the order and confirmation numbers the clerk made us contact Travelocity's customer service to get it resolved. Travelocity's customer service was great.

Inside of the hotel was a standard Motel 6. Not super clean nor super dirty. The biggest issue was the window mounted AC unit. It was covered on top by a piece of plywood with a gap beneath it right next to one of the beds. The area aroind the hotel had two restaurants within walking distance but no ride share drivers available tot ake you into the downtown area of the city.

Overall I have stayed in worse hotel/motels but I would not stay at this one again.

The room itself was fine... but the facility removed a pane of glass and replaced it with plywood so they could install a window AC unit. The door lock didn't work correctly. To close the door from the outside, I had to turn the inside handle to disengage the lock. The noise level at night was ridiculous (cars racing down the street, loud voices at the property next door, helicopters flying over) forcing me to sleep with the TV on to drown it out.

The staff are not present at the front desk and you could end up waiting for a long period of time to check in. They even ask you \"how long have you been waiting here?\" but offer nothing more than a short apology.

I understand they are working on the building but this place is in shambles and is in very poor condition. For as little as was offered, the price of the stay was pretty outlandish.

They also incur a $100 security deposit that is not listed anywhere. I asked about it upon checkout (which I had to wait for them to eventually show up to the desk for) and they said it would be returned within 5-10 business days. I sure hope so, as that's already a bit of a wait.

To everyone reading the reviews, please listen to them and do not stay at this location. I have stayed with this chain before at other locations and never had a bad experience. However, this will be the last time as our experience was terrible and the customer service was awful. We arrived late, our room reeked of smoke, the a/c was barely hanging in the window (there were bugs that were crawling through the cracks), the floor was sticky and there was garbage under the bed. Upon trying to switch rooms, we were told they were overbooked. The lady working the evening shift promised us a refund, however, the next day management declined this request and said there was nothing they could do. After going back and forth, I was told to call the motel 6 customer service line and also speak with Expedia. After talking with multiple motel 6 reps, I was told I would receive a $25 gift certificate after being treated poorly by a rep whom laughed in my face about my experience. Honestly I have never come across such unprofessional employees, both at the motel location and by customer service staff. It has been over a month and I am still waiting for this $25 dollar gift certificate. I would not recommend this location to anyone, the rooms were not up to standards and the staff deliver empty promises and are rude.
As a side note, the Expedia staff were amazing to talk to and helped despite the manager at motel 6 stating I shouldn’t book through Expedia because it’s a “scam.”

Absolutely no housekeeping for the whole 5 days we were there. The window unit had a good inch-1.5inch gap where someone could literally stick something through into your room & see in. The parking lot definitely felt sketchy if you know what I mean. Lock your doors & don’t leave anything valuable visible. Very noisy through all hours of the night. It’s like someone was just above having a boxing match or something until about 6am! The beds are the most uncomfortable beds! The shower was…weird? But oddly felt cleaner than the rest of the room. Just choose another hotel, period.

Overall good experience although we paid a premium likely due to it being at the end of a music festival. Exterior of the property needs significant cleaning/paint/repairs. Room was clean and mostly updated floors/bathroom. However, the headboard was missing from the wall and that wall was scratched and had the headboard brackets still attached and sticking out. Also, the window A/C didn't quite fit into the window frame and there were paper towels pushed into the edges to fill in the gaps.

Rooms smell like weed

If you like the smell of weed, you'll love your stay here. We even changed rooms and it smelled the same. We eventually had to leave and stay somewhere else because started getting sick from the smell. No compensation offered and when asked if something could be done even just a discount, they said no.

This property literally looks like it's falling apart. A/C units in some of the windows look like they're ready to fall out. Sections of the balconies had very evident wood rot and/or termite damage. Holes in the walls of the room where lighting, etc., had been removed, but not repaired. A hole in the wall along the back of the toilet where it looked like they tried to fit the toilet into the wall for some reason! The aerator in the sink faucet blew off when the faucet was turned on. We never would have stayed here if it weren't for the fact that the rest of the motels/hotels in the area were sold out due to the music festival that weekend.

The fan in the bathroom did not work. We thought the bucket under the sink was interesting. The lighting was not very good in the room. The one bed was right up agaist the air-conditioner. We were expecting a refrigerator and microwave in the room but after speaking to the contractor working on the room next to us we found out that it is part of Motel 6 new brand not to have these in the room. Also, no blow dryer or coffee pot.
The people working there were very nice. The room was clean.
