Great place. Nice rooms, yummy breakfast only downside was there was like a school there so we did not get to enjoy the pool, hot tub or sauna because it was over crowded with teenagers. Overall a really great place just wish they would manage how long they were in there tried both nights and even early and super late. My coworker said same problem when they stayed there too but would have been really cool.

We love a getaway in Kalispell and Red Lion is always our go to place to stay because we love its location. We have noticed a steady decline as the hotel gets older. My husband always enjoyed the comfy occasional chair in the corner of the room, but I guess it wore out and now it’s gone, nothing new in its place, same with the lobby area, less and less there every time. Rooms are in need of a face lift and a good deep clean. Breakfast is a real plus and is always good! Hope to see a comeback Red Lion!

The only odd thing about this hotel is that it is attached to a dying mall. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Lots of walkable places to eat nearby.
We came in January, so not sure if it gets busier, but we had most amenities to ourselves. We were the only ones at the continental breakfast. The pool and hot tub were also empty, which was great. I really enjoyed the pool location.

Although the hotel was a tad bit dated, I feel as though it added to the charm and fit with the atmosphere of the hotel. It was conveniently located and was within walking distance of the main downtown strip and a multitude of restaurants. Hotel is attached to a mall. Although it’s small it has everything you need from a mall! The pool was refreshing and the sauna and hot tub were the perfect t temperatures. I truly enjoyed my stay there.

We had a great stay at the Red Lion Hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was yummy, and there was lots of parking. We really appreciated that they made up our room every day too.
The hotel is attached to the mall so that was convenient for some shopping & it was easy to drive to other shopping.

Charged $100 for “door damage” and “wet footprints in closed hot tub area we never entered.”
• NO before/after photos provided
• NO email, text, or any notification before the charge hit my card
• Manager Jacob claimed photos exist but refused to send, gave a rushed/questionable GM email, refused his last name, and hung up saying “have a nice day” when pressed for proof.
Door was already damaged on check-in. Still waiting for refund. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Avoid unless you enjoy surprise fees with zero evidence.

The price was great for Thanksgiving. Staff was lovely! Our housekeeper was a sweetheart.

However, the pool was disgusting. A slime around everything. Mold spreading and taking over many of the windows (in the hotel room and in pool area).... The chlorine was almost intolerable in pool area. All our swimwear changed color! Tiny hot tub 3-4 people max.

They charge $70 for thanksgiving, but charge $400 for July. Definitely, not worth $400 a night. But yes $70.

The caulk had mildew in the bathrooms.

Bedding was ok. Again not $400 a night.

Basic cable... can't log in to your own streaming.

Breakfast was the same thing everyday.. we stayed for a week.

Abject indifference by front desk workers. Seemed like they were pissed off because your booked on line. Because you booked on line they put you in the lowest quality standard room. Exposed to street noise. Missing furniture in the room. Old busted down mattress. Incredible noise from above the room on the second night after midnight. It was like they were doing work on the room above. Was going to complain but chose ear plugs instead. The housekeeping girl was very pleasant and changed the towels but did not make the bed. The carpet in the room was very clean. Breakfast was very good with nice fresh fruit and good coffee.

I booked and fully paid for a two-night stay through Expedia.
However, I was unexpectedly told to leave without any written notice. I was not allowed to use the room I had already paid for.

I was sent outside with all my luggage in the cold while waiting for transportation and refund instructions. The whole situation was stressful and caused entirely by the hotel’s actions.

I stay here often. My favorite part is close to downtown for walkability to restaurants, breweries, etc. They have a pretty decent breakfast. Rooms aren't fancy but they're clean and price is right - at least in the off-season. There is a pool, sauna, and hot tub but I find it is often crowded.

The hotel was nice & my room was very roomy and accommodating. I also loved the area... close to downtown, casinos & coffee! However, when I checked out & returned home, my clothes were infested with bed bugs, which I'm sure I picked up from the room. In addition, the hotel was in the process of changing all the locks on the rooms, and I was unable to get back into my room and the building a couple of times even though the staff tried to fix it. A nice hotel, but my stay was ultimately disappointing.

Truly need to invest in some updated lighting for their pool and hot tub area. During the dark seasons of the year it’s not a very comfortable place to be in the evenings. All of it could use a bit of updating , but at the very least get some LED lighting above the pool .

Breakfast had the usual hot breakfast items but I did appreciate how much there was to choose from. The gentlemen that were monitoring and mananging the breakfast line were fantastic. There was not one person who went without and everything was stocked.
The hallways were gross. Carpet needs to be replaced and it does not give a good first impression.
Rooms are okay but there was a huge gap under our door so the bright light was coming into our room and we could hear everything in the hall.
