The advertising is misleading. I booked a “room with a view” but “the view was of a car wash, a dog groomers and a dental business. Having a view just meant being on the top floor. The business center was one of the main reasons I booked there but the business center was a desk in the front lobby with a computer and a printer. When I used the printer it ran out of ink and there wasn’t a replacement cartridge. It also had a kitchenette which was great but you have to pay extra for pots, pans, dishes and silverware.
That being said. The place is nice. They did a good job on the remodel. I was comfortable, the staff were friendly and I felt safe in the area. There’s a nice patio out back with a BBQ and picnic tables and there’s a very nice walking path which I found to be peaceful and very pleasant. There are no lights along the path so if that’s not your thing then it’s best to use it during daylight hours.

. Rebooked within 10 min. for proper dates. One week earlier. Booked on Expedia's \"Jump back into your seach \" E mail. The dates were wrong on this E mail sent to me from Expedia. i didn't notice prior to booking the wrong date. I contacted Expedia and the hotel. No credit no refund!! I didn't stay at the hotel on Feb 8 2026. So cannot give you a review. Don't send \" Jump back into your search\" Emails with autoloaded wrong dates!! Errors will happen.

Love staying at My Place Hotel. We have stayed there several times in the last few years. Great place to stay if you are staying for extended period of time. Like the full fridge. The views from the rooms are a bonus. Parking is a little tight, but manageable. The price is great.

Nice room, clean, friendly staff very quick to bring things to the room. Check toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash when you get to the room. Our conditioner and body wash were empty and toilet paper is super thin it goes quick.

Everything about the hotel itself was great except that it could use a bit more soundproofing. Whoever was in the room above us was quite noisy, sounding like the furniture was being tipped over. Those in our hallway that let their doors close on their own , essentially slamming them, made for some disturbance. All else was fine and we would stay there again.

Renos were being done on our floor and heavy paint smell, had to walk around old fridges and other building materials.

Also - door was banged on at 8am - while we had a do not disturb - and ask our names by some man who didn’t identify himself - then he said he didn’t have us on his list. Did we get switched to that room, what is our last name, blah blah blah. At 8am when you were hoping to sleep in it was super annoying.

People were slamming the door, slamming the closet, and running around constantly.

When I called the front desk, the only response I got was, “Quiet hours start at 10 PM.”
That was it — no solution, no concern, nothing.

It was honestly ridiculous.

Morning hotel staff was slightly rude, she was busy on the phone so I asked if I could just leave my card with her because I was in a rush and she had a little bit of frustration with it. I could not connect my console to the Internet because there was no Internet password that I found in the room only steps to connect a computer so i used hotspot. Everything else was great!

Let’s start with the worst part. If you plan to get any sleep you should consider a different hotel.Whoever built this place cheaped out on insulation. Doors slamming all through the night and in the early morning hours, not just above you but down the hall and everywhere. People walking on the floor above or perhaps jumping and dancing, it was difficult to tell. Toilets flushing, conversations heard outside the door, it was like a 3 ring circus both nights, all night long. Ridiculous. Then you have a lovely room, complete with full size fridge, tremendous cupboard storage, cooktop, microwave- all in perfect condition. And not one thing at all in the cupboards. Not a glass, a plate, a fork or spoon, no pan for the cooktop, nothing to eat on, zip,zilch,nada. You have to put in your request at the front desk and no one brings it, you must do that yourself.We had to obtain cutlery on the second night or eat with our hands and yes they will give it to you but I cannot for the life of me understand why they’re afraid you’ll steal an old worn out fork from the dollar store. Maybe their staff is just too lazy to clean up when you check out. Don’t expect to even have your bed made. Nope, nothing. Don’t get me started on the sandpaper toilet paper and tissue. Such a shame. Could have been such a lovely place to stay. Don’t bother.

Having a full size fridge was nice. Overall, room was clean and well maintained, but, then again the hotel looks fairly new. Only wish they thought of the fridge location when designing the room layout. Opening the fridge and freezer door takes care not to hit the door handle as it opens into the door instead of away from it. Great stay and experience though.
