We stayed only one night but had a very nice experience. The hotel is contemporary and well designed, and the staff were friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor and very quiet, though it wasn’t a particularly busy time. The rooftop and hot tub looked great, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy them. The only downsides were the inability to turn the fan off when the heat or AC was on, and the bedding, which was a bit unusual: a thin duvet and a low bed setup, so I had to slide halfway down the bed to get my shoulders covered (luckily I’m short!).

The most serious issue happened at 1:00 AM, when we had a major water leak from the ceiling. Despite the severity of the situation, no meaningful help was provided, and no refund or compensation was offered.
Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory and did not meet expectations for a hotel at this price point.

The phone in the room was broken so we used our cells to call for room service and we couldn't get anyone in the restaurant or front desk. I went to the restaurant and waited for 30 min but didnt recive any assistance. The bathroom lights didnt work in the middle of the night we later found out that a master switch had to be turned on by the door. The bed was very uncomfortable.

I was provided a not so great room on the fullest floor right next to the door that opens to the hall for room entry. Very loud for hours as guests came in / out the door. The TV did not work and there was a left over half jug of water that was not cleaned.

We paid a lot of money for a room for three nights. We had to be moved because the first room smelled like trash. Front desk was very indifferent to their guest. Never acknowledged us either coming or going. Bartender was completely weird with customers, like they were bothering her. Upside was location of hotel, but we paid for that for sure with price to stay there. Wouldn't recommend it.

This is not a five star hotel in anyway. I think four would be overly generous. At nearly $400/night in northwest Montana, it is certainly not a deal.

Great location -- we're taking the train and it's a block from the train depot. It's also a great location for walking around Whitefish; the staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooftop hot tub is a great feature.
