I was nicely surprised by this motel and grateful they had a room available after the camp ground closed earlier than their sign said and I was left without lodging. Anyways, I really liked the Regal Inn. Quick check-in, well-lit parking lot, a quiet well-insulated room, and an incredibly comfortable comforter! Like so comfortable that I didn’t notice I’d forgotten to turn the heat on; it got into the 30s on the evening, and I didn’t notice. This place worked perfectly for a needed place to stay.

The rooms smell musty, they never clean toilets, black gross stuff growing around rim of toilet and dried pee around the bottom. The tub had other people's hair stuck on the walls. The sheets smell clean, but there is someone hairs stuck on the sheets.

Terrible room. Carpet stained, bed may have been laid in as all pillows stacked to 1 side. Food left in rooms refrigerator. Walls paper thin, neighbors TV was clear as day. Didn’t complain because it was late and check in was difficult already as clerk did not speak good English.

I am always very leery of motels with local license plates in the parking lot and my skepticism was well placed here.This place is a dump where local low-level criminals stay to do “business “ ( I was solicited by a “working girl” in the parking lot).Ancient facility,shabby furnishings that other hotels threw away,old linens made of fiberglass...The fail is total.You’d be crazy to bring a family here.Spend a little more to get an acceptable accommodation.

I'm soooo disappointed. Our truck broke down and had to get it towed back to Albuquerque. They would not refund our room or let us change the booking for another date( we go to Las Vegas regularly and always stay here). So we were out $180 for the 2 nights on top of the repairs that we now have to do on the truck and the towing and I was hoping they would be understanding but they weren't. The site we booked with even tried to help us out and Regal would not budge.So we will no longer be staying here when we come back.

I like motels, parking outside my door and a window that opens for fresh air. My room was perfectly clean, plenty of plugs, plenty of hot water and spacious. The bed was fine, not a pillow top which I prefer. The price per night is extremely reasonable.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. However, this place is a dump! When I walked into the room, there was an overwhelming smell of curry and B.O. I had to open the window and front door for a couple of hours, to get the smell out. The bathroom was disgusting. There were drink stains on the wall and the shower smelled like mildew. The towels were the cheapest you can buy and have been washed so much, they felt like sandpaper. When I pulled the bedspread down, my hands smelled like B.O. The \"breakfast\" was disappointing. The coffee was terrible, but that was ok, because they ran out anyway. Needless to say, when we came back to Las Vegas on the return trip, we paid more and stayed somewhere else. It was worth the money to pay just a little more.

This hotel isn't bad, it just needs some TLC.

My room was clean, but I had to ask for bar soap. The staff got it quickly. The next issue was the TV, it needed to be rebooted. again the staff fixed the problem.

TLC the shower needs a diverter valve and a screen in the tub drain. Yes, it's an old property I'm very aware. I have 18 yrs of maintenance experience in the multifamily property management field.

Would I stay here again, hell yes! It's not bad the price was very reasonable too!

The Regal was very nice for a 2 star motel. The room was clean and included a mini fridge and microwave. The only issue was there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign so housekeeping knocked loudly on our room window then door early each morning. That was pretty annoying but otherwise, it was a nice stay.

the place needs either a better cleaning staff or should be closed. cat hair on original bedspread to be replaced with another with the same issue. fitted sheet came undone and remnants of ??? were all over the mattress. attention to detail and not some side of the road facility that people are paying good money for. as a military retiree i found better places in the desert with my sleeping bad and kevlar equipment on in over 100 degree temp than the Regal Motel in Las Vegas, NM. don't go.

The room was fair, especially at the price. I felt the facility was understaffed, which left the breakfast experience less than satisfactory. (i.e.: they ran out of plates and silverware and supplies were low and got unnoticed until another customer remarked to the front desk.) Also they book to some construction workers, who seemed to set up camp at the two extreme ends of the facility and do as they please; that kept us awake until about midnight listen to the TV in the next room, which was back on at 4:30 in the morning. We couldn't figure out when these people sleep. As it turned out we barely got enough sleep ourselves to continue our trip the next morning. Likely we won't stay there the next time through town.

Really enjoyed the old style of the property, fitting to the old town. Updated just enough. Very quiet. Easy to get to off the highway. But, couldn't see the sign as shown on the picture. Got lost, trying to find it... had to turnaround and make phone call. Had a large moving truck and wasn't convenient. Only problem we had.

Staff is friendly but hardly understood English which made things difficult at times. TV, microwave, fridge, and everything in restroom works fine and is pretty clean. However, the TV remote was disgusting; it was crusted over with drops of food (I hope) I had to sanitize it along with some of the table surfaces. Blankets and one of my pillows had food stains (I hope) on some spots too.

The motel's condition is better than I expected. I think the owner do keep improving the amenities. However, the staff swiped the key card and open the door when I was there and didn't check out yet. And the sound insulation is bad.
