The heater in the room was extraordinarily loud. There was no heat in the bathroom, so we had to leave the bathroom door open just to make it bearable to be in the bathroom. The shower had no water pressure and the water was barely warm.

During check in, the office guy couldn't find my reservation. Took more than 5 minutes for him to find it. While moving our bags into the room, another guest stood right next to door with a large dog that was barking and pulling on his leash the whole time. I asked him to take his dog farther away from us and he just stood there. The latch on the door was broken, so it would have been easy for someone to break in if they wanted to. In the room itself, the floor was cracked. We didn't know it until my daughter stepped on the crack and it pinched her foot. Luckily she was wearing socks and it wasn't too bad. They do not provide mini shampoo and conditioner. Instead, the have bottles attached in the shower. There was no conditioner in our room. I went to the front desk to see if they had any small bottles so my wife could take a shower and they said they don't, the room keeper would need to refill it. The website also said that they serve continental breakfast, which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel over ones that were similarly priced. Guess what... no breakfast. They said they have never served it, yet it's on their website. I ended up having to spend an extra $30 to get food for my family because of this. All in all, a horrible stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel, Econo Lodge, and had a wonderful experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff member who helped me was extremely kind and attentive, which made my stay even better. His great customer service really stood out. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Owner just purchased one year ago. They’re trying to bring everything up-to-date and fix all the rooms. Under the circumstance it was all right and the owner was very accommodating. Parking is not for large or long vehicles.

Breakfast is not provided as advertised. Room numbers were missing. Tile to the bathroom was missing trim piece of tile to carpet, so toes are easily stubbed walking into the bathroom. Caulking on wall trim pieces was messy. A bird feather was on the carpet next to the bed. It appeared as though the room was not vacuumed, but it was paint droppings on the carpet. Entry door can be pushed in from the outside due to misalignment of lock. Can also be pulled opened when locked. TV remote s did not work until a third one was brought in. Heater installed in bath area could not be seen for settings unless a person was over 6 feet tall. Curtains did not close shut without using a chair to stand on to pull the strings in the rails. Shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were not provided, and only one bar of soap for the sink area, shower/bath area. Doors to check out at the lobby were locked aftter 6:30 AM attempt to obtain a receipt.

Clean. Friendly staff. Would stay again!

Checking in was so quick and the woman was very friendly. Parking was easy, right by our room. The room was very clean and has been newly renovated. The bed was on the soft side for us, but that's just personal preference. And they are a pet friendly hotel, helpful as we have our little sidekick with us most of the time. I would definitely stay here again.

We got stranded in Las Vegas, most rooms were booked due to a movie being filmed. The owner was very nice. The maintenance man went above and beyond to fix heater and smoke detector. He even helped us out of a fix with our wet clothes. My only down fall is the room needs to be updated. The beds are super old and don’t sleep very comfortably.

Looked sketchy at first with a couple with boom box on the outside landing. Room clean and freshly painted. Bed adequate. No sub flooring so floor creaked and was cracked. We didn’t pay much and we knew it was given a 7.8 rating which is about right.

I had booked two night at the Econo lodge in Las Vegas New Mexico. Upon checking into our room it was dirty and had a horrible stench. We couldn’t stay there! The gentleman at the front desk was very apologetic, he was very helpful to see if could get me back my refund.

This property was being renovated and according to the poor guy at the desk they'd had staffing issues.
The garbage was overflowing, construction trash everywhere, room numbers painted over and dog feces randomly left buy inconsiderate owners.
Different groups were getting high in the parking lot when i checked in. It took two tries to get a room that had been made ready.
The room i eventually ended up with was clean but obviously dated. There was no remote for the TV, shower curtains for drapes, old furniture.
Fortunately, the AC could be turned up high enough to drown out the road noise and dudes in the parking lot.
At 10 pm, some sketchy looking guy started knocking on my door but looked shocked, apologized and left when i wasn't who he was looking for.
Decent nights sleep after that.
A real shame as it was obvious they were trying to overhaul the property but had trouble getting help and obviously attracted a less refined clientele.
Worked for a nights stay but not something i would recommend for families or single women.

The gentleman who checked us in w was courteous and checked us in promptly. The hotel is under renovation and there was a sign posted letting their customers know, however the parking spots were not marked and the customers seemed to use up more than one space. We ended up having to park further away from our assigned room. The outside garbage bins were placed in the front of the hotel and were overflowing. The linen did not look like it had been changed. The pillowcases looked dingy and there was writing on the sheets that read, \"We had sex here.\" Ewwww!!! The security lock to keep anyone from opening the door was broken off, so did not feel safe.

There’s about a 2 inch or less abrupt step up, which is a trip hazard. The vacuum has been recently remodeled, which is nice, but someone may fall walking into the bathroom in the abrupt transition.

Do not stay here.

Zero stars was not an option so had to give one star. Smoke detector beeping upon arrival, stained sheets with hairs, dirty floor, dirty bathroom, broken tv remote, cheap uncomfortable mattresses, freezing cold, terrible wall unit heat/air louder than a train! Would not recommend to worst enemy.

Don’t always have someone at front desk. I think he lives there and you have to ring a doorbell for him. Though, in the morning he didn’t come. But I didn’t wait too long.

Broken down cars in the parking lot, strange piles of bricks under stairwells. Office locked at all hours as if even the workers feel unsafe in the environment. Last straw was when the power went out. I attempted to call the office for fifteen minutes when no one answered I walked down to get help and find nobody on site we left and drove back home a day early. Do yourself a favor stay anywhere else.

Decent priced hotel for staying the night, just passing though. No breakfast that I could tell, maybe some coffee and pastries. Looked like they were updating the outside and some of the interior looked updated but needs work still. Beds were on the hard side for my liking but we all slept well, so it was nice! Would stay again if ever down that way again.

It looks like a construction zone. We thought it wasn’t open. Looking at it from the outside - we were tempted to just walk away and loose our money. No light on, office not open (ring bell and wait), stucco surface on outside of building missing. It is a work in progress. No breakfast as advertised - just coffee if you want to wait till 7 AM.
Bed was poorly made but the sheets, towels and bathroom looked clean.

The heater is so noisy for a new unit, the curtains didn’t darken the room much. Felt like we were being bitten all night after being in bed for a hour. Had a shower in the morning yet our feet were dirty 1 minutes latter as the floors weren’t clean.

I live in southern Arizona, but I’m originally from Kansas. Las Vegas, NM is the perfect halfway point when driving to and from visits home. The first time I booked this hotel I did so because it was cheap and I knew I’d only be there 4-6 hours for some quick rest. When I checked in I was so pleasantly surprised by how nice it was for the price. This is now my second time staying here, and I still love this place. Even though it’s a little rough around the edges from renovations, the rooms are spotless, the beds are neat and comfortable, the staff are quick and courteous, and I’ve never had any issues with noise or other guests. This hotel is also just a short drive away from a lovely dispensary and a Taco Bell (perfect way to spend a night alone on a roadtrip). I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate this affordable little hotel right along my path home, and how much I appreciate Las Vegas, NM as a whole.

The slope to low prices...

Friendly staff. Beware the slopes. Especially if you have handicaps because they do not inform of this and it almost caused me to fall...I just had a knee replacement. Other than this...the atmosphere was pleasant and for the price you couldn't beat it. It was so nice...we stayed here twice.

The bathroom window above the bathtub did not close completely which had given several crawling bugs the opportunity to sneak in and expire in the bathtub which was in an overall uninviting state anyhow. Apart from the bathtub the rest of the room was reasonably clean. The bed was especially clean (no stains on bedding) and the mattress must have been quite new - no lumps and very pleasant to sleep on.
