Pros: kind staff, clean linens, quiet (at least our room in the rear building), convenient location, well-maintained property, in-room mini fridge and microwave, lots of hot water for showers and baths, lots of tv channels for those interested. Nice bed, but see \"neutral\" note below.
Cons: the room was generally dirty (poor vacuuming, cleaning spray residue on surfaces, *very* dusty filter on the AC/Heater which we cleaned ourselves), and the finish on some of the wood furniture is deteriorating and very sticky.
Neutral: the bed was very firm, which one of us found quite comfortable but the other found quite uncomfortable. Be forewarned.
Overall, a good stay for the price! The hotel is dated but has clearly been attentively maintained. Get your food and coffee out - there's plenty of great options nearby. Explore the area - there's lots of natural beauty to go see! Will consider staying here again when we come back to Sequim.

One thing that caught me off guard was finding the lobby closed at 8am one the day I went to check out. Then I saw the sign on lobby door which says open hours start at 9am… to me that is oddly late in the day for a lodging business.

The property and furnishings are older, but you can tell they take pride in their hotel; the room was clean, and the grounds were well cared for. Upon leaving, one of the staff stood outside of our door and was gazing into our room making it awkward to bring our stuff back down to our car. Very dirty! Spider webs hanging from the lamp shade. Killed a huge spider on the bathroom counter. Kinky black hair on bathroom floor in front of toilet. Toenails on carpet next to bed. Large garbage can chained to poll outside door with terrible odor. Walkways & stairs outside were extremely dirty with lots of spider webs.

This property was old and not well-maintained. The sheets looked used as they were completely wrinkled. There were stains on carpet and mold in shower. The towels appeared to be well worn; possibly as old as property. The street behind property made it noisy for sleeping and the area was very dark; not well lit. Over priced for age and condition of property. Reconsider as I would not recommend. Staff greeting us did not make eye contact at all...seemed like he was ready to end his shift and morning staff couldn't even provide breakfast recommendation.

This was a nice place to stay near Olympic National Park. The check in service was very friendly and recommended a great place to see the sunset over the strait which was beautiful. The room was clean and everything worked.

Docking one star because the staff member asked us to pay $15 for an early check-in of 1 hour (which we declined). Really? The room is already clean and sitting empty!

I stay here on most of my visits to the peninsula for work. It is a great location, simple and clean. The bed is comfortable and the shower has great water pressure. On the negative side, the A/C unit is a little loud but does what it needs to do and it is not new so some things show some wear. i will be back

Unwilling to cancel an Expedia reservation minutes after it was made in error. Room had a smell. No usb B or C. ( this is 2025!). One sink for two bed room. Shower temp was impossible to adjust the temperature. It is against code as hot side and cold are reversed also. AC wouldn't cool as drapes block the vent.
