1) Bathroom had water damage on drywall seams, shower rod was damaged and corroding, hot water for tub did not really stop, could turn either way and water would come out.

2) Bedroom lights did not work between queen beds - we booked a single queen bed. Switch spun and did nothing. Mattress/box spring closest to heater was unsupportive to body weight, slept in the other bed so we were cold during the night. Entry light worked but the other lights were all unplugged.

Would not recommend based upon these conditions.

I came to Sequim on January18,2026 and I arrived in the evening, and the gentleman was very friendly and got my keys and checked me in. He was very friendly and definitely made me feel welcome. The next morning there was a lady at the front desk who I believe to be was his wife assisted me and she remembered me from years ago when I was there. Everything was clean and I always enjoy coming to Sequim and I will recommend this motel to all my family and friends and plan on coming back in the summer that is for sure.

The room had spider webs, faulty outlets, very noisy neighbors and a horrible view of a empty filthy pool and parking lot with junked cars in it. The online photos must be very old because there is no view of the water. The bed was rock hard and half of the TV channels didn't work. It did have very hot water and plenty of it.

The room was comfortable. Some lodging rooms have crowded spaces. That was no problem here. A problem in the bathroom was that the toilet was too low. My wife and I both have long legs and she has some arthritis in the knees. Also there was no towel racks, although there were plenty of towels. Having racks would have been more convenient.

The bed was clean.. the rest was low budget. Chipped paint, stains, stained towels, anything metal was rusty, the left side toilet paper bracket was missing but the right side was still there. The shower valve has mismatched handles and appeared to be loose, and not secured into the wall. The tub drain was clogged, the fan was covered in cobwebs and lint rendering it useless. I opened the BR door, the lack of exhaust caused the fire detector to go off at 11:30 pm. Lastly, dog crap on the patio outside the slider door. This used to be a decent property, its fallen.

The stay is okay if you're looking forward to sleeping for the night. Rooms are spacious, but are very old. The staff is friendly.

Although they did provide a coffee machine in the room, the quality of that was below par and the equipment in the room (TV, microwave and fridge) was pretty old. Some of the lights in the room didn't work as well and the room itself wasn't very clean.

The facility has no water fountain, which I feel any hotel should have for free. There's a vending machine which charges $3 for a 20oz water bottle.

I would say the room was just \"ok\", nothing special. Not bad, as it was clean and bed was comfortable. Not that is matters, but furniture was very outdated. My biggest complaint was the \"non-smoking\" room had a faint, yet distinct smell of smoke. We opened the slider and kept the door open for a while and turned on the bathroom fan (kept it on the entire time) and it started to smell better. We didn't need the AC, but tried to turn it on just for air flow and didn't seem to work. Parking was good. Poor wi-fi. The one staff person in the lobby was friendly. The best part was the price and the fact that we were able to jump right onto the Olympic Discovery Trail with our bikes. It served it's purpose, nothing more.

I was very disappointed in the amenities in the room. Very few cable channels available, and what was available had very poor reception. There was only one bath/shower towel in the bathroom, and two hand towels. Poor soap and shampoo quantities. I realize that costs are going up, but I paid over $220 for a single night and I expected better. I come to the area frequently, and this will be my last time at the Sequim Bay Lodge.

Pros: Convenient ground floor entry, had refrigerator, microwave and AC worked. Good water pressure.
Cons: Person at counter at check-in had no personality and was not welcoming. The shower water handle was rusted and hard to turn, along with standing water. Bring your own shampoo, the little packet of Shampoo hardly sudsed your hair. Room smelled like old cigarette smoke along with disinfectant. Bed was hard. Placed appeared to have had no improvements since it was built. I would not stay here again.

The condition of the bed alone is a reason to avoid this place. It was a terrilbe dingy mattress and the room smelled like old cigarette smoke and cheap toxic cleaners used to cover it up. Woke up with a sore throat. Read the other bad reviews, they are all accurate.

The patio sliding door did not open, I was denied coffee in the lobby, parking in the rear seem insufficient relative to the number of patrons, you're a mile and more from city amenities food etc. that isolation is the cost of lower rates.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The 'Lodge' is run down at best. Our room had faulty light fixtures and light switches and rusty plumbing fixtures. The TV in the room didn't work, but it did come with two useless remote controls. It appears that this place may have been last updated in the 1980's. The best part of the stay at the Sequim Bay Lodge was our departure.

I don’t even know where to begin. First, the stairs leading upstairs to our room, felt unsafe to walk on. The balcony in the room also felt unsafe standing on it. The door to the room had no security lock on it from the inside. The bathroom door didn’t have a lock on it. The toilet didn’t flush properly. And the property itself looked like a slum lord runs it. It’s very run down and the pool looked like it had sewage in it. There’s definitely a reason the main photo shown on the website is of the flowers facing the road, and not the hotel, itself.

We booked for a king bed with sleeper couch. Sleeping 3 people and were given a room with a king bed and a dinning room chair. Luckily my husband couldnt come so me and my son shared the bed. Bolt on the door broken, no screen on window, refrigerator was warm, coffee pot non functional, stained sticky carpet, and no plug for the drain to take a bath. By the listing, i was unawre this was a MOTEL. Grossed out and felt unsafe with just me and my son.

Our stay was good. We didn't realize the Jacuzzi was on the top floor. Having issues with my knees it was a bit of a challenge going up and down.
Staff was friendly, room was clean, the couch was comfy, the bed was on the hard side. Overall, it was a good stay, nice and quiet for a weekend.

Check in was easy, but when we got to our room the door was open and there were cleaning supplies in the room. We ended up putting our stuff back in our car and we came back later that night. The room was clean. The beds were hard. We really just needed a place to sleep and the room was adequate for that purpose.
