A very relaxing room and property. Nice and quiet. We were in 502. It's old, but very comfortable. Backs up to the forest. Rather convenient to Sequim a d other places. Air Conditioning is nice, Staff very nice and polite. Room was very clean. I highly recommend this place for those on a budget. We will be here again.

This property was much less per night than surrounding venues and that's exactly what I was looking for.....a simple clean room with a nice bed to sleep in for an evening. None of the foo foo garbage that just jacks the price up or the virtue signaling \"enviro resort\" which is a joke!

Room was clean. My only complaint was the wait to check in. The lady was by herself with myself and a few other people waiting. The place was quiet and a comfortable bed to sleep in. Bathroom was clean and had amenities. The place is old, but my friends stayed at another place in town for twice the price and they stopped by and said it was as good inside the room as their place. Thank you for 2 nights of good sleep.

This hotel is the classic you get what you paid for. If you need a place just to sleep it works fine. There is one thing that they definitely need to replace and that is their carpets. They are seriously bad and I’ve stayed in 6 different rooms over the last 3 or 4 months and they are bad.

Room was not cleaned properly (probably not the housekeeping department's fault; I am well aware they are not scheduled more than a very few minutes in each room); we kept finding loose hairs that were quite clearly not ours, loose dirt in all the drawers, and similar detritus. Room was not in good repair; holes in the drapes, a non-working TV that was left in place and another just placed in front of it, shower plumbing barely workable, and rusty accessories left installed all over the place (towel racks, tissue holder, etc), and fixtures had been replaced without any attempt to paint the off-color spots left on walls. At least there were working lightbulbs in all the lamps, and the air/heating was in working order...?

Rude staff, prices were way too high for the dirty room. I have never in my life stayed at place as bad as this place. There were no controls on the walls for the heat, bathtub had hair in it from the last person that stayed in the room. Sequim Bay Lodge should be condemned. It’s a rat hole , roach hotel. Please drive by it never stay there. I’m going to report this place to the BBB and the Washington state attorneys office. The health department should condemn it.

Showed up at 4pm. Front desk, on his phone, didn't acknowledge us when we walked in. Paid, got cards for door access - didn't work. Walked back, got new cards - didn't work. Was handed third set of cards, then asked staff for assistance.

Moved us to another room, as the door was broken.

New Room had such features as:
- Visible 'white' stains above headboard
- multiple holes in both blankets
- No screen on back door, which was really nice for airing out the room
- Notable odor
- nonfunctional hair dryer
- multiple non-functional outlets
- visible bathroom mold (though, in fairness, minor)

Pool area is a gaping pit in the middle of the complex, filled with dark water and trash.

Would recommend getting top floor, as bottom floor room had lots of noise from upstairs guests.

Not the most expensive, but far from the cheapest place. Would recommend bringing own sheets, towels, and sanitizing wipes if this is the option you end up with.

1) Bathroom had water damage on drywall seams, shower rod was damaged and corroding, hot water for tub did not really stop, could turn either way and water would come out.

2) Bedroom lights did not work between queen beds - we booked a single queen bed. Switch spun and did nothing. Mattress/box spring closest to heater was unsupportive to body weight, slept in the other bed so we were cold during the night. Entry light worked but the other lights were all unplugged.

Would not recommend based upon these conditions.

The bed was clean.. the rest was low budget. Chipped paint, stains, stained towels, anything metal was rusty, the left side toilet paper bracket was missing but the right side was still there. The shower valve has mismatched handles and appeared to be loose, and not secured into the wall. The tub drain was clogged, the fan was covered in cobwebs and lint rendering it useless. I opened the BR door, the lack of exhaust caused the fire detector to go off at 11:30 pm. Lastly, dog crap on the patio outside the slider door. This used to be a decent property, its fallen.

The stay is okay if you're looking forward to sleeping for the night. Rooms are spacious, but are very old. The staff is friendly.

Although they did provide a coffee machine in the room, the quality of that was below par and the equipment in the room (TV, microwave and fridge) was pretty old. Some of the lights in the room didn't work as well and the room itself wasn't very clean.

The facility has no water fountain, which I feel any hotel should have for free. There's a vending machine which charges $3 for a 20oz water bottle.

I would say the room was just \"ok\", nothing special. Not bad, as it was clean and bed was comfortable. Not that is matters, but furniture was very outdated. My biggest complaint was the \"non-smoking\" room had a faint, yet distinct smell of smoke. We opened the slider and kept the door open for a while and turned on the bathroom fan (kept it on the entire time) and it started to smell better. We didn't need the AC, but tried to turn it on just for air flow and didn't seem to work. Parking was good. Poor wi-fi. The one staff person in the lobby was friendly. The best part was the price and the fact that we were able to jump right onto the Olympic Discovery Trail with our bikes. It served it's purpose, nothing more.
