CasaO was a great place to stay in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood filled with shops and restaurants. We were very close to the metro which was also convenient. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The room and the hotel (it’s only a few rooms on the second floor were clean) the building itself has a horrible smell. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable but there’s no extra linens or blankets which really sucks if you’re cold. The staff is only one individual and while she is very nice, there is literally ZERO communication beforehand. I had emailed AND messaged via Expedia “the hotel” multiple times with zero response. Literally nothing back, so there was no way to know if we could get early check in or our bags held or even get breakfast from the hotel. Thankfully when we arrived the cleaner was there and was able to let us know that the room was cleaned and ready because the previous guests checked out early. Would’ve been nice to know.
Thankfully it’s in a nice, central location, albeit very hard to notice on the building, so you have to pay very close attention when trying to find it. I like the door code idea though and not having to carry multiple keys.
I would stay here again but definitely not for the price I paid.

We had an amazing view out of our window. The location is fantastic. The only challenge we had was finding the hotel and getting in. Travelers should be aware that you will get an email with a key code to get into the building, to get into the hotel area, and to get into your room. Also, the sign for the hotel is the size of a paper plate. I overlooked the email as self entry was something new to me. However, when I called the hotel, they were very helpful explaining this to me and getting me in. Overall, great place to stay!

The location is central and so close to pedestrian mall Montorguiel street. The problem is that it is also right across from McDonalds restaurant, so it attracts some unemployed people which eat at McDonalds and then sit on the front step to the property. It was unsettling at first. We just stepped over or around people at times.

We were there over 9 days, which is unusually long for their clients. It was very tight with all of our bags. The bathroom is very small.

Also room can get pretty warm during the day.

Love the area that the hotel is in and also the manager, Evenalita , is very nice and accommodating. She even loaned us an umbrella on a rainy day.

Also, the breakfasts are a great deal and very delicious.

Loved the location, the room was small but comfortable. The room temperature was cold at times and the bathroom was simply too cold - the towel heater is on a timer, so you cannot adjust the temperature in the bathroom for 20 hours of the day!

Convenient and clean! We love this area of Paris and had a short stay and it perfectly met our needs. There was a luggage room that we were able to use to store luggage after checkout (just had to inform the staff in the morning, so we could keep use of our entry code for a little longer). Common area is nice to decompress even after check out.

Love the location, super convenient and you can walk to most destinations. The property itself is on top of a restaurant, so although it has two layers of windows, you can hear people chatting till midnight. But still, it is relatively quiet in a very very busy area. The hotel room itself is super compacted but of very high utility. This place is great for solo traveller.

The good - Centrally located, several metro stations within easy walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby, and shopping mall only a short walk away. Nice common area, cozy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Safe behind multiple layers of gates and doors.
The not so good - Boutique hotel, not for everyone. Not easy to initially locate. While centrally located, must walk or use metro to get to sites. Staff only onsite for limited hours daily. Room is on the small side.

We were given clear instructions about check in before we arrived. There are signs at the front of the building and at the second floor entrance. The signs are small but easy to see. The room was comfortable. We needed the power converter that was in the main room due to delayed luggage. That was much appreciated.

We really enjoyed the apartment type feel of this hotel and the location was excellent! The staff was more than helpful and extremely friendly. We were in love with our spacious and comfortable room, very modern and well designed. The location was the best! We don't mind walking and we walked from this hotel to the Louvre to the Arc de triomphe, where we opted for the bus, which toured the city, then we ended the bus tour at Notre Dame and walked back to the apartment. Plus, for dinners we walked a block to find hundreds of great restaurants and cafes. We definitely recommend this quaint hotel if you're not interested in a big hotel with bar, restaurant and large staff.

This is a nice place to stay - it is very quiet and all the bedrooms are off the common area so not like a traditional hotel. I've stayed here twice now and got the same room, which is lovely as I'm sure all the others are too.
There is a great little vegan Vietnamese restaurant around the corner and a little cafe called Life that does really good healthy breakfast and lunch food/smoothies etc.

Wonderful concept: hotel/apartment/bed & breakfast. Seven completely up-to date rooms of varying size on the perimeter of a common room with couch and tables for \"petit dejeuner\", in a residential city neighborhood across from a pedestrian area of restaurants, pubs and shops for produce, meat, bakery goods, pastries, etc., about 1/2 mile from the Louve.

The \"housekeeper\", Lisette, is wonderful! Casa O really, really made our stay delightful.

5 day trip in Paris on a lovely hotel

Perfect hotel for a trip to Paris. Very good hotel and good value for your money.

Location from airport: Just take the airport train to Les Halles and you have pretty much arrived.
Location from main tourist spots: Louvre and Notre Dame are very close by. Other spots are not far away and no taxi costed more than 15 euros the time i was there.
Surrounding area: Very nice walking street just outside the hotel doors and all around the hotel are nice restaurants and bars.
The hotel room itself: Not the biggest but why do you need a big hotel room in Paris? The room was clean and most importantly it is pretty well soundproof. No noice from other rooms or from the street.
Staff: Very friendly and are more then willing to help you.

Also have to recommend a pizza place in a walking distance from hotel, Pizza Rossi. Must go place.

Amazing hotel in heart of Paris. 10 min walk to both Notre Dame and Louvre.. so many lovely cafes and restaurants just across the road. Sentier metro just 2 mins away and bus stop is directly opposite hotel for bus to Gare du Nord train station which is 10-15min journey as well for 2euro.
You will need a code to enter appartment which is on level 2, they do have a lift but the stairs are faster if you don’t have too much luggage. To exit hotel downstairs there is a button on the wall to your right to release lock but keep your code handy so u can get back in when u return.
The hosts are so kind and genuine. I really enjoyed my stay there and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for future stays. Great location and a cozy little boutique chic apartment / hotel which will make your stay in Paris memorable .

Home away from home!

Your stay at this hotel is a cozy, easy experience. Lisette was there every morning to serve breakfast and help with anything needed. We like Diet Coke. She made sure the refrigerator was stocked with them! She answered questions and gave directions. Many sights are within walking distance and the metro station is just steps away. It is definitely the place to stay in Paris!

This apartment hotel is cozy and comfortable, with very hospitable staff.

I love the punchpad access, honesty bar and the cute communal sitting area as well.

You will find this location an easy walk to the metro, shops and cafes.

If I'm in Paris again I will not hesitate to book with CasaO again.

Nice hotel with limited amenities on 2 floor of a building. You are given access codes to enter. Small lobby with area for breakfast of croissants, cheese, yogurt, juices and coffee. The GREAT thing about this hotel is its location next to Rue Montorgueil that has a wonderful market area of cheeses, meats, pastries and loads of restaurants. One of the best people watching places in Paris and the home of Stohrer, the oldest pastry shop in Paris. We also walked to all the major attractions and we are in our 70's. Definitely a find.

First Time In Paris

We were somewhat unsure about booking this hotel/apartment but after four nights there we would go back in a heartbeat. Here is a list of the pluses.
Location, Location, Location. Can not be beat, LOTS of restaurants and shops right outside. Short walk to the Louvre and Opera, we walked easily back from Norte Dame.
Hotel was spotless, modern located in an older building, nine rooms in all with a common room for morning breakfast. Staff are there during breakfast period and short time in afternoon. You receive a personal PIN code via email the day before check in which you use to access the front entrance at street, entrance at second floor of unit and your room. No checkin or checkout, very convenient.
Breakfast was adequate and included.
If you do not require a swimming pool, spa, meeting rooms etc than I would highly recommend the place.

Great Concept Hotel/B&B near the Louvre in Paris

We liked everything about the hotel - location, closeness to public transit and the Louvre, ease of access to the the hotel and our room (everything is digital push button access). The breakfast was very Parisian and there was lots of it. The staff were excellent and helpful. Our room overlooked a busy street but was well insulated from any noise. Air conditioning was a bonus and the room amenities were excellent. We spent 4 nights and 5 days and would go back in a minute!

My husband and I have been to Paris many times before and were just here for the weekend after a week of business in London. Casa O was perfect for us, centrally located, within walking distance to everything and very low key and private. One floor or a loft commercial building, the architecture was sleek, the bathroom fixtures modern, our room was large and closet space was ample, which are not things one normally says about Paris hotel rooms! The immediate area is not especially picturesque, as it seems to be the garment district and essentially closed on weekends. But it is across the street from a lovely pedestrian street of markets and restaurants, which was lively every day and evening, even with locals. There were only two other rooms of the 7 occupied while we were there so it felt very private and the housekeeper was friendly and helpful and came in each morning with fresh provisions for breakfast. Great coffee, fresh croissants and baguettes with cheese...didn't need anything more! We arrived and left Paris by Gare du Nord, five minutes by taxi and ten minutes by Metro! It's not a traditional \"hotel\" but it worked for us and we will definitely stay again.

Excellent location in walking distance to the Louvre and close to Metro. Lovely room, comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space with hangers provided, nice toiletries in lovely bathroom, excellent shower, lovely fresh bread and pastries for breakfast. Everything spotless. Charming staff. Can't fault this and would definitely stay again on a future visit to Paris. Also lovely pedestrian area across the road with lots of bars and restaurants.

Near Place Vendome, by Sentier metro, this is a convenient central location. It's a small hotel, just 7 rooms, and not staffed all the time. Access is by special codes unique to you and your stay. The room was comfortable and very quiet except for a regular compressor grinding noise from the air-con which i am sure is a fault (and I reported it). easy tea & coffee making facilities. ideal for a simple and comfortable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Ô. The staff there were all so incredibly friendly, and helped offer us advice on where to go, things to do, and places to eat. The best way to travel through Paris, at least for us, was the metro. It was convenient to have a public transit site right outside the hotel (though we never went to it) because the trains we needed were a quick walk from where Casa Ô was located. The side street near the hotel has so many restaurants/side streets off of it (Rue Montorgueil) and we were on this street daily. The rooms were clean and very well kept, albeit a bit small, but breakfast and everything included was fantastic. Everything was impeccably clean. The hotel condition was great, and I appreciated with Honor Bar they had as well for the water/soda that was available. I would go back to Paris and stay at Casa Ô in a heartbeat. The hospitality and help from Odille and Berenice can't be beat, and it would especially be unavailable at a bigger hotel. They truly try to treat you like family.

Small but Charming

I just though this was a terrific little place, not far from metro's, and away from some of the more congested parts of Paris. We went as a group of 3 couples, and the little \"lobby\" area was a nice gathering place. Rooms were small, but charming and clean. Easy access with codes instead of cards or keys and the lift was great for getting luggage up.

Great comfort and service

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and comfortable, bedding comfortable. They offered a nice breakfast every morning and free waters and soda/juice. Lots of books and information about the surrounding area. Slightly different concept than a normal hotel, but I really liked it and would definitely recommend!

Loved this place!!

Loved the hotel, and the staff was more accommodating than I could have ever hoped for. Walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame. Great breakfast, free drinks, and a lot of restaurants/shopping nearby. When I come back to France I am definitely staying here! The best hotel we stayed at during our trip. They even accommodated our little infant in the room and had fresh milk available.

Amazing experience from a new concept in hotelling

Casa ô was without a doubt the best hotel experience I've ever had! (this from a 10 year world traveller). The service was exemplary and the format of the hotel (like a 7-room ensuite bed-sit with shared lounge and kitchen) was perfect! The rooms were fantastic, comfortable and functional in every way possible. The host had fresh local pastries, breads and cheeses waiting for us every morning. Each room came with it's own Nespresso machine for coffee and lovely teas as well and the shared kitchen had juice, fresh milk and fresh fruit for snacking. If all hotels were like this I'd never want to come home! The electronic self-assigned codes for the doors were all too convenient and easy and the service was prompt yet unobtrusive throughout the stay. Internet was uncommonly speedy and the showers and bathrooms divine! From now on there's only one place I'd think of staying in Paris!
