We book into this hotel on our way back from England. It is such a lovely drive over the Pyrennes and then into Torla. We have done it for the last four years and have excellent service in the hotel

Beautiful location away from busy town but front line view of mountain. The servers at bar and restaurant area very nice. Drawbacks- no explanation of anything at check in. Hotel details do not mention a fee for sauna yet they said we had to pay 25e per person - not good.

Very good stay

Good stay here for two days, in a room with a balcony / yard area which was useful as we had our dog. Hotel is dog tolerant as opposed to dog friendly. Room was fine but not very well sound proofed. Clean and had all that we needed for a couple of nights. Breakfast was very good and dinner in their restaurant was very nice too. Fab location as near plenty of excellent walking routes

Not only was this the best location for access to Ordesa and Mount Perdido National Park, the hotel staff was helpful and kind, and the breakfast buffet was perfect for fueling up for days of hiking in the park. The view from our windows was incredible, and the room and bed were comfortable.

Dog friendly hotel with spectacular views

We have stayed here several times as it is a perfect dog friendly hotel. We pay for a room with a patio which is great for the dogs.
The area is ideal for walkers and the scenery is spectacular. The town of Torla is unique with beautiful buildings, well worth exploring.

Highly recommend, great for more active poeple.

The only down side was that the room was a bit warm even with the window on at night (aircon not working). The hotel location, the staff & food were fantastic. Great scenery to view, good for hikers,cyclists,climbers, pony treking as all available within the area of Ordesa. Highly recommend the hotel & would stay again.

2 night stopover.

Nice rustic hotel. Lovely staff. Major downfall is there is no air conditioning in rooms and we stayed during July… very hot ! Fabulous scenery. Beautiful villages nearby to visit.

The staff hardly speaks English, the rooms are in bad Conditions. The Ac wasn’t working and the windows were stuck. Although complaining the front desk at 7 pm they did nothing to fix the problem and only after midnight they Ofer us a new room.
I will recommend you to keep away from this hotel.

We checked in around 6:30pm and had no troubles. The front desk staff member He was great and his English was some of the best we had come across in our travels. He was helpful when we asked about shops in the area. The room was very nice and clean. This hotel is also very close to some great hiking.

The staff was very nice. The location was great with great views all around. Major problem with sound proofing. We could hear everything from the room next door and luckily they were not making excessive noise otherwise it would have been terrible. We could hear toilet flushing and showers from other rooms

Pool is ice cold. Very close to everything. Food good adequate. Rooms good. Bathtub shower awkward. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shouldn’t allow people to talk on cell phones in breakfast room. Food is warm not hot. Coffee is warm not hot. We liked the place but others would prefer to be in heart of Torla in order to walk to bus for Perdido walks. Torla is only 1 km away. Pool is fine after hiking for 6 hours but bitterly cold for normal swimming.

Nice hotel within easy driving distance of various areas of the Ordesa national park. One should be aware, that only superior rooms on the top floor are air conditioned. Expedia’s does not offer an option to book these rooms. We were quite disappointed when we discovered this and the hotel staff was quite accommodating and moved us to the air conditioned rooms without additional charge with these rooms usually costing Eur 50/day more than the standard rooms

A great place to stay

We were really pleased we stayed at Silken Ordesa. We loved afternoons in the garden after walks in the Nat Park and also enjoyed an evening meal here. It is a short walk into Torla where there are restaurants to eat at as well. We had a room on the top floor. It was a good size - handy when staying for several nights. The only issue was that we couldn’t work out how to open the window - and the aircon did not cool the room very much. We should have asked at reception about these but were too busy enjoying the area!!

RICO SUAVE! I've traveled all through Europe, the gentleman that greeted us and check us in is one of the most personable, sincerely friendly without being intrusive person in his position I've come across in a long time. Others in the industry should take notice and try to emulate him! Management should reward him!! His English teacher mother taught him not only how to speak the language well but also a few manners and how to welcome others. The whole staff was accommodating. Good dinner! Good location! Good value! Stay here!!!

Trip to Ordesa National Park

Hotel was clean and nice. It was located a few minutes away from the city center, but a little closer to the park. The park was beautiful and the town was pretty neat too.

A beautiful part of Spain. Be sure to climb Mt. Perdido, it is spectacular. A bus takes you to the entrance and they run consistently. The hotel and staff were very nice. The best is the location and the views.

Storm of the century

We got a family room on the top floor which was a great size and had two single beds for the kids. However the aircon did nothing but blow hot air so very sticky night. Evening meal and breakfast was great. During the night a four hour thunder storm occurred with golf ball sized hailstones. In the morning numerous cars had smashed windscreens and our hire car is now styling the new dimple look. The hotel does provide covered parking which I now regret not using.

Nice hotel close to national park

There was a musty smell in the room except when the windows were open. We were happy to keep them open, because it was warm--but there were no screens.
The food (breakfast and dinner) was very good. Great place for accessing the Pyrenees for hiking.

La verdad que las fotos del hotel están algo retocadas, sobretodo las de la piscina, está bastante más trillada de lo que se muestra, además es compartida con el Camping colindante (aspecto quizás a indicar en el anuncio). Un día no nos limpiaron la habitación cuando acaban de pasar, les comentamos que ya le dejábamos libre y en vez de aprovechar (estaban ahí mismo) nos dijeron de poner el cartel de “Límpiese por favor” cosa que hicimos y a la vuelta de la jornada nada, decían que habían puesto el “No molestar” ¡cuando habíamos pedido por explicito limpiarla! Otros días no nos dejaban todas las toallas, tuvimos que pedirla en dos ocasiones. Pero lo que más no llevará a no volver a ir, es la política de mascotas, TODAS tiene un coste de 25€ (incluso la nuestra de 20 cm y 2 kg) nunca hemos pagado esa cantidad, por un perro tan pequeño, añadiendo que no permiten dejarla en la habitación, cosa que nos IMPOSIBILITABA hacer el uso de cafetería y/o restaurante, para cualquier comida, solo tenían una terraza (muy bonita la verdad) pero que como llovió varios días, tampoco era una posibilidad. La verdad que la habitación está bien y el baño igual, pero eso de que se anuncie como mascotas permitidas, es solo eso, que se permite que duerman solo contigo, y nada más, eso a mi modo de ver, se lo tienen que mirar y quizás revisar, para casos de pequeñas mascotas al menos.

Es un hotel correcto que cumple con lo básico, pero definitivamente no alcanza los estándares que uno esperaría de un 4 estrellas. La relación calidad-precio no está justificada, especialmente considerando las deficiencias en el aislamiento y las vistas. Recomendaría ajustar las expectativas o buscar alternativas en la misma categoría de precio.

L'hôtel ne mérite malheureusement pas ses 4 étoiles. L'entrée est très jolie mais les chambres sont très sommaires, exigües et nous avons été envahis de mouches ! Quand nous l'avons signalé à l'accueil. Elles ont confirmé que cela arrivait, sont venues ramasser les mouches que nous avions tué mais n'ont rien fait d'autre. Aucune proposition de changement de chambre. La salle de bain est très exigüe. Le salon ne sert à rien et la TV est minuscule ! Bref les chambres ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur du nombre d'étoiles. En revanche, restaurant très bon et hôtel très bien situé si vous allez faire de la randonnée dans les parcs à proximité.
