We loved our stay at this place. Wonderful views of the coast and mountains. Breakfast was awesome good variety. The room was clean. The pool was sort of small but it was a beautiful area to hang out. My only problem was all the steps it was quite a bit to walk. But besides that everything was great and free parking.

Fico d’India is a gem.

Nestled along the Amalfi coast, the views are breathtaking, and unobstructed.

The staff are wonderfully polite, and the manager especially was just incredible, always available to help us navigate the logistics of our trip. His passion for hospitality is obvious.

During our stay we ate almost the entire menu and nothing disappointed, all made with fresh local ingredients, and perfectly prepared.

The only issue is that with the perfect view comes a slight complication with relative remoteness. The Amalfi marina is quite far if you plan to walk or bicycle. But the hotel offers very convenient shuttle service to most major locations along the coast, so even that isn’t an issue.

Overall Fico d’India is a 5/5 experience. If we ever make our way back to the Amalfi coast, my partner and I will definitely being booking another stay here.

Pico was nice to me. He provided transportation to the beach escalators and bus stop. He also started breakfast earlier than regular time because he knew i had to leave early. He was very helpful and kind as well as the rest of the staff. The had a beautiful lemon garden, marvelous view and the silence of the area was so peaceful. I recommend it to whoever is looking for peace and quiet.

the owner was so nice and went out of his way to help us in every way… he helped us book a taxi bc it’s basically impossible to get one in furore. he was very accommodating and considerate! the area around is quite remote and you have to take the bus to get to wherever you want to go. the breakfast was phenomenal!

The perfect Amalfi getaway

This place is AMAZING! The view is incredible! It is off the main road so it is very quiet. The staff is so nice. Breakfast is delicious with quite a big selection. The dinner restaurant is excellent with incredible views. Plenty of parking. Lots of little secluded areas where you can relax and read a book. Close to a beautiful beach you can hike to and swim at. Perfect!

Consiglio di lasciare la macchina lì ed usare la navetta a disposizione (con piccolo extra) per andare e tornare da Amalfi. Il ristorante interno ha ottimi prodotti di pesce. A gorgeous property in the lovely town of Furore, with stunning views across the coast, out to sea. The staff were always so friendly and helpful; Pino (the owner) treated all of his guests like family, which made the holiday feel very special. I cannot say enough good things about Pino and the property. He “rescued” us from our taxi driver who was desperately lost trying to locate the hotel. Our room was lovely with a beautiful sweeping view high above the Adriatic Sea. We dined in the restaurant both nights - the first night mostly out of convenience and exhaustion; the second night out of a craving for the delicious food and gracious service. Fresh fish, local ingredients, and gracious, elegant service. It was romantic - in every definition of the word.

This small family run hotel is tucked away in a beautiful, secluded spot. That means there is not an awful lot you can walk to, but there are buses and parking if you hire a car. It has lovely views and offers what is advertised as well as a warm welcome and any help needed from host Pino. The food in the restaurant is delicious and there is a wide selection, including fresh fish. Good, reasonably priced wine list too.
The highlight for me was the interactive shower with disco lights, fan and radio - something very unexpected and fun!

We made a last minute plan to stay here as we wanted to eat at the local wine bar called Bianca Zita. Our room was a bit small and dated. Small bed and shower. No complimentary water. The view out the window was spectacular. Breakfast was on a deck overlooking the Amalfi Coast way down below. The food was alright, deviled eggs, cold meats and cheese etc..we headed to Boomerano the next morning to hike Gods Pathway.

Amazing hospitality, outstanding food!

The hospitality at this hotel was above and beyond! We felt at home due to the owner, Pino, and his fantastic staff. This, and the outstanding food at the restaurant (we ate there nightly for dinner, some of the best food in Italy!!) were the highlights of our stay. Breakfast was also beyond bountiful with homemade deliciousness. The room, although a great value for the Amalfi Coast, was substantially smaller and less updated than those shown on the website, perhaps due to being in the “annex” building. Were we to book again, we would have upgraded to a room with a balcony.

The property was beautiful and very well kept. It was nice to stay in this location and away from all the crowds. I would highly recommend taking the local Furore bus into Amalfi, the SITA bus was always full and a bit confusing to take from Amalfi to Furore. The rooms were great and very clean. Everyone at the hotel is extremely accommodating and kind. I highly recommend this property!

We stayed at Fico D'India for five nights and honestly can say it was one of the most welcoming places we had ever stayed. Pino is a super host, always available to help, and friendly and warm. Also Mikaela, helpful, friendly and excellent customer service. We do recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel welcome amd look after. The food is 5 star. Amazing sea food pastas. Super clean room and breathtaking view. We'll be back for sure. 10/10

We loved our stay at the hotel! The grounds are great, and rooms are comfortable and spacious for European standards. Pino was a wonderful host! He was so helpful before and during our stay. All staff were extremely friendly. The restaurant was also a nice touch! We enjoyed two of our meals at the hotel and the food was great, and they have a wonderful selection of wines.

We had such a wonderful stay!! Pino was the perfect host. He made sure everything was perfect. He even drove us to the bus stop! The restaurant was very yummy. And, the view was to die for. Only 20 minutes to Amalfi by public bus or car and then you can catch a 25 minute ferry from there to Positano.

My brother and I stayed here at the beginning of September for a couple days and it was everything we expected and more. The hotel was very clean and the staff were amazing!! Pino was so helpful and did so much for us. They definitely went above and beyond for us. We needed to checkout and leave at 4am because we were driving back up to France and he packed us a to-go breakfast for the road. He also bought bus tickets for us to get to Amalfi and drove us to the bus stop. The food here was incredible. We enjoyed the everything we ate. The breakfasts that were included were also amazing and huge. It filled me up for the whole day until we came back for dinner. I would definitely go back and I would highly recommend this place to everyone. It made our stay in the Amalfi Coast unforgettable!

Owner Pino and his family made sure we had all our needs met and then some. As a native of Furore he has a vast knowledge of the area and provides intimate knowledge of transportation options and excursions - be sure to ask him advice on how to navigate your coastal stay. Additionally the breakfast each morning was bountiful, fresh and tasty; the restaurant on site serves up fresh seafood at a reasonable price (try the lemon wrapped king prawns and the eggplant parmesan!)

Pino and his staff took care of us from start to finish in all ways. The hotel is super clean and beautiful with a gorgeous view. Pino drove us to get bus tickets and to the bus stop. He gave us so much information and even helped us with an issue we were having with our rental car by speaking to the agency on the phone and making arrangements for us! He went above and beyond! The food at breakfast was delicious and abundant and the dinners were excellent as well! Our stay couldn't be better!

The Amalfi coast experience.

It was not easy to find but once you are there it is a wonderful place to stay. Room has nice views of the mountain and the ocean. With a garden of orange, lemon and olive trees. People are very nice especially Michaela. Will definitely recommended and stay again.

Pino was a wonderful host , nothing was a problem. The view from our balcony was superb , we could not get enough of it , sitting there sipping the excellent wine we had bought from the sweet little wine shop just up hill. The walk down to Fiordo Di Furore was great fun but just remember to take your time coming back up and to take something to give to Pino's donkeys !

Great hideaway on the Amalfi coast. Incredible views, good food. The host is very nice and gracious.

The issue is that rooms need to be updated -- new beds, bedding and a shower in addition or instead of the non-working jetted tub. Given the remote location, it's likely that guests will want to spend time in the rooms, and a bit of luxury would go a long way.

I rated it 3 overall, but would have rated it 3.5 if available.

Fico d'india was beautiful. Our room overlooked the sea and the cliffs of Amalfi. I will say that parking was difficult and we took our car everywhere, but you could not get a view or local feel like the one at Fico d'India from one of the hotels in the larger cities.

Breathtaking View!!!

We (my daughter & I - mother/daughter trip) arrived in Amalfi after taking a train, cab and two ferries. We then boarded a bus that took us up to our hotel. We missed our stop and were fortunate to meet a man who spoke English. He called our hotel and within minutes, Pino, the owner of the hotel, picked us up and brought us to his beautiful hotel. We were greeted by his wonderful staff. We did have to go down a few flights of stairs, but I enjoyed the exercise. There may be rooms that avoid steps, but I didn't ask. When we got to our room, we went out on a small terrace that overlooked the ocean. Words cannot adequately describe the beauty. That evening we dined in Pino's outdoor restaurant (there is also an indoor restaurant). Across from the restaurant was a view of another cliff with street lights that lit up the rock formations. Both my daughter and I agreed that the food was the best we had ever had and I grew up in NYC having gone to excellent Italian restaurants. We ate at Pino's both nights of our stay.The next morning we were served a delicious breakfast (included) and since we did not have a car, Pino drove us to a bus location that is closer to the town. The day we were leaving, we felt that we didn't have time for breakfast since we had to catch a ferry, but Pino insisted that we eat and that he could get us to the bus on time, which he did! In just two days, we felt like Pino and his staff were old friends, even like family!

well we were here for one night after travling from salerno, the view is very nice - and its even more crazy if you go up to the small town. This is suitable if you are travling by car. Fino was very nice to us, this is more a B&B than a hotel, but if this is what you are looking for - you will love it. great value for money - Breakfest was great, view was very nice. Wifi was great! thanks for a nice stay fino!

A rambling complex of rooms on a cliff side. Pictures don't do it justice. Facilities are clean and charming, everything worked. It looks like every room has a great view, we had a balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast was amazing, and all the dinners we had there as well. The owner is friendly and helpful. We drove a rental but there were other guests who got there by other means. It looks like it is close to the water but the altitude is deceptive. It took us 1/2 hour to drive down to Amalfi, though part of it was to stop and get pictures.

Amazing place.

We had a wonderful stay here in Aug 25. The place is amazing, the view great, the room clean and fresh! We had dinner here 6 out of 8 nights, very good food and excellent service. I have coeliac disease, and there were several options to choose from for breakfast. A warm croissant was ready for me every morning. Everyone is so welcoming and serviceminded. A spesial thanks to Pico who went above and beyond to secure we had a great stay. We will be back.

Odlas lime, citroner och vindruvor runt hela hotellet som gav en mysig känsla.

Séjour sur la côte amalfitaine, en voiture. L hôtel est bien placé pour découvrir les alentours. Chambre avec petit balcon face à la mer. Chambre pratique. Sèche cheveux. Comme dit dans de nombreux commentaires, le restaurant est de très bonne qualité (dîner chaque soir). Et le petit-déjeuner était très correct : sucré et salé, fruits. Il y a un parking. L équipe est très sympathique. A noter que l endroit est très isolé.

Så mysigt, fantastisk utsikt (vi bokade rum med seaview), underbar uteplats under vinrankor och citronträd. Mycket bra frukost som ingick i priset. Mycket rent och fräscht. Perfekt med gratis parkering. Maten på restaurangen OK. Bra priser på mat och dryck. Negativa är att det inte är gångavstånd till något annat så man är lite fast där om man inte har bil eller vågar ge dig ut på trånga vägar med galen trafik för att hitta bussen. Inte gångavstånd till havet, pytteliten pool. Ska man vandra, har egen bil och vill ha det tyst och skönt så är det perfekt!

Nosso voo atrasou e chegamos ao hotel após o horário de check inn e o proprietário do hotel nos aguardou. O hotel fica numa região mais afastada que é uma tranquilidade maravilhosa. O apartamento é muito bom, o banheiro tem um box pequeno, o café da manhã é uma delícia, os funcionários são muito educados, tem um restaurante com chef que é ótimo. Fizemos nosso checkout no dia anterior da nossa saída porque tínhamos compromisso cedo e o hotel, gentilmente nos fez uns sanduíches para comermos no dia seguinte que estavam simplesmente maravilhosos. Vale a pena se hospedar nesse hotel.
