I just want to thank La Conca, they are great. It was indeed the most expensive hotel I’ve ever paid for, but I’d say it was worth every penny. They haven’t parking during the day, and if you communicate with them they are helpful. Pietro is such a good guy, helped us out when we came in super late. The owner is also a nice guy, he is onsite at the property & you can tell he cares about his business. The food is great, breakfast was so yummy and simple and still so amazing.. the restaurant at night is honestly outstanding- private intimate and calm, the gnocchi with the shrimp tartar.. I believe that’s what it was- 100/10. I was so pleased at the peace and quality it all brought together. I would recommend the hotel to anyone going to the coast that wants a peaceful getaway but not far from all the beach towns. Just book it, you will be happy you’re in the peace and quiet but close enough to go to everything nearby. Also- totally check out the grotto under the hotel, it’s special- just like the sunrises at this place. Miss it already! Thank you La Conca Azzurra

Great views, tasty breakfast, caring staff, highly recommend! Located next to tourist attraction, very beautiful. All Amalfi coast is far from the beach experience. The hotel has beach but the walk is down and then you need to go up mountain back, wouldn’t recommend for family with kids under 5.
The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Positano and Amalfi,but remember taxi cost for 20 minutes is 170€ one hour way, easier rent a car if you are confident driver.
It was great experience.

Good hotel in Amalfi coast, between Amalfi and Positano. The staff is very friendly and helpful, awesome breakfast with local products and superb service. Complains mainly on the old furniture, weird shower and not so comfortable bed, that is partially compensated with the beautiful views from the hotel and free parking

The restaurant is average and the private beach was closed during our stay….

This hotel is stuck in a time warp from the 80’s with grandmas furnishings, dark corridors, the elevator from hell and public spaces cluttered with supplies and old furniture…

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were all extremely nice, polite, and helpful. The only downside is they do not make great meals for dinner. There are a lot better places to eat in the area. Most of the food we ordered for dinner was over cooked or not seasoned properly. But the hotel was great.

The gift shop seemed to take priority over reception area which was downstairs in an enclosed hot area. An additional value add could be providing water/road shuttle to beaches and town. Fabulous staff - Chiara, Louisa and Maria were so helpful and pleasant. Hotel is charming with its own unique style. View from our balcony was spectacular. Shower was terrific as was air conditioning. Breakfast offers something for everyone. Only thing to bear in mind there is nothing really in walking distance so you are reliant on the SITA bus or overpriced taxis which are not really readily available. Great place to chill out and enjoy the view.

This property is nestled between amalfi and positano and is located right across the Sita bus stop. The views are amazing and the restaurant on site offers great food. Staff was very helpful (very informal setup). Rooms are small (in line with what one expects in europe) but comfortable. The balcony attached to our room really added to the experience.

Be prepared to take a taxi / bus or drive for anything since there is nothing within walking distance from the property. The nearest beach is about a km away and walking on the roads can be very dangerous (narrow roads along the cliff and fast moving traffic)

Our stay was amazing! The staff was so kind and accommodating. The views from our room were unbelievable. We loved eating at the hotel restaurant. Salvatore was always there to welcome us. Annamaria was so sweet and even made us her favorite local coffee drink. We have a wonderful experience and would stay here again. Just a quick 20 min boat ride to the main town of Amalfi.

The view from the dining area was great!getting down to the beach was impossible as you had to walk down hundreds of steps. The hotel itself was clean but very dated. It needs to be updated with a new decor and new mattresses The staff was pleasant and attentive to our needs. Especially helpful was Louisa. Louisa found the perfect beach for us in Atrapi. The rooms were mostly clean, however, there was hair sporadically around the floors. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. There is not much around the hotel to do and only option to get to other areas are public buses which we had multiple times drive past us because they were full and were forced to either wait for up to an hour sometimes for the next bus or take a $60 taxi anywhere we wanted to go.

La Conca Azzura has multiple terraces for dining with amazing views, and the food was delicious. We had five breakfasts and five dinners there, and each time we walked away commenting on how scrumptious the food was. The view from the room was beautiful and the patio had comfortable seating to enjoy the outside.

This hotel is full of Italian charm. The views are spectacular. It was peaceful, quiet and safe. Being situated between Positano and Amalfi made seeing the Amalfi Coast very easy. The restaurant on the property serves delicious food by a wonderful staff overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. You have direct access on the property to go swimming in the sea, along with a sunbathing platform and bar that serves drinks. The staff at this hotel made us feel very welcome for our entire visit.

This is an amazing property with a five-star views and private access to the water. It is a bit isolated, and unless you have a car you will find it challenging to get to the nearest towns. But if you a looking for a beautiful, romantic, quiet setting this is perfect. The one drawback is that they clearly are not keeping up with maintenance of the property. Little things like our door privacy lock didn't work, loose door handle on the shower, trail to the water not well maintained, and that sort of thing. But that did not seriously detract from our experience at the property, which was very good.

This place is really cute! We had a great view. It’s in a great location away from the hustle and bustle but accessible. There is a bus stop right out the door and they can arrange complementary shuttle service to a few restaurants close by. There is a cool cove below the hotel you can jump in and swim. It’s a king walk down and up is the only tough thing. There is a restaurant on site that was pretty good and offered free breakfast. The beds were a little hard for my liking but overall we were very pleased and would stay again.

Our stay was AMAZING!! This place is full of magic. T'he views from our room was bretahtaking. We has a enourmous window in front of our bed and we were waking up every morning seeing t'he see + Paraiano beautiful views. The room was very clean and It was Big. T'he private beach was super beautiful. There were hammocks for everyone and t'he water was super super clean. T'he most adventorous had places to jump to t'he sea and there was a hotel bar next to It. It was very quiet and only people from t'he hotel were there. T'he food was amaziiiing. Local and t'he olive oil was from their own production. T'he personal Who works there was very caring and tret us amazingly. T'he owner was also and extremeny caring person. All was a dream!!! And t'he views from t'he terrace where you have a beautiful breakfast is Priceless!!!!!! Super romantic hotel. Cant wait to come back! T'he day we did the check out they let us stay in the bech all day for free. Amazing experience. Don't doubt to stay in Conca Di Azzurra. You won't regret.

La Conca Azzurra was a great choice for our stay on the Amalfi Coast. First, it was located in a quiet area between Amalfi and Positano, so the stay was relaxing. Second, given that it was conveniently located between Amalfi and Positano, it was easy to get by bus to either one of those towns. Third, the hotel had a great restaurant on premises, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which we enjoyed greatly. Fourth, the room had excellent views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Fifth, the room was also climate controlled and incredibly spacious, with a huge bathroom and two balconies.

Property location was quiet. The staff were very friendly and a big thank you to Paula at the desk in particular who was patient, available and pleasant. A gift of spaghetti and olive oil at end of the stay was a lovely touch. Only 15 mins away from Amalfi. Easy access with SITA bus. The only downside is the SITA bus is not always punctual and can become full during busy times hence can add to frustration.

The owner of the hotel was present from the minute we checked in at 11:30 PM until six days later when we checked out. The staff and owner treated us like family and spoke English perfectly as we struggled through Google translate to speak Italian. The rooms and restaurant was amazing and the grounds were lovely. Breathtaking views. The lovely folks at the front desk helped us plan day trips and navigate our way through the town. They even helped us manage our transport to the airport. We look forward to a return visit. definitely her best stay in Italy

To say this hotel is amazing would be an understatement. Situated on the cliff side of a small town in the center of the Amalfi coast means you get the exquisite views of the sea and coastline buildings, without the throngs of people you would find in Capri or Positano. The bus stop is quite literally right outside of the hotel entrance and for just a couple of Euros can find yourself in the heart of Positano, Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento- wherever your heart desires. The front desk staff are quite knowledgeable about the tours available and can suggest places to go and things to see. The restaurant on site is phenomenal! We ate here each night after being out all day, and were never disappointed. The owner, Salvatore, stopped by our table every night to ask about our day, and was just incredibly sweet and hospitable. I would recommend this hotel without reservation to any of my friends and family, and look forward to staying there again on another trip to the Amalfi Coast.

La Conca Azzurra is a 3 star hotel.

This hotel has such potential, considering its idyllic location. It boasts a picturesque view of the coast which sadly doesn't match the service provided. It's not a 4 star hotel, but could be if the following things were addressed immediately.
1. Ensure that rooms have some sort of welcome drink/water and coffee/tea facilities. There is nothing more disappointing than entering a room which isn't inviting. There also needs to be a welcome pack in each room explaining everything. Make sure the spare duvet in the cupboard and main cover on the bedding are washed.
2. Have the private beach open all year round otherwise there is no point in coming to your hotel.
3.Breakfast really needs to have a larger variety of cooked food for example eggs, baked beans, sausages, bacon etc. Food kept running out.
5. Bread served in the evening need to be baked that evening so it's fresh. Don't serve stale, hard, bread from breakfast.
6. Top up shower gel in the bathroom when it's finished and make sure the rooms have a hairdryer that is more powerful than an electric toothbrush. Plus, put a proper roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Small square strips of paper increase your chances of getting a 'gold finger' 😒
Apart from this, dinner was divine and a visit from the owner was a beautiful touch! The location of this hotel is beautiful , but it could so easily be 4 or even 5 stars if these points were addressed.

Salvatore, the owner, is always there making sure that everything runs well. Food is great. One of the best and most romantic stays we've had. Parking is cumbersome and buses with tourists come during the day to see grotto and shop in ceramic store. This in no way detracted from our experience. Be careful crossing the street and driving.

Our room with a private terrace overlooking the sea was fabulous. The hotel is lovely with a private garden. Staff is friendly and helpful. The owner even brought cappuccino for us to enjoy one last time on our terrace when we had to check out very early. The SITA bus is directly outside that takes you to Amalfi,POSITANO or any town along the coast. The buses are always very crowded so be prepared.you can buy the bus tickets at the hotel. The hotel had a beautiful restaurant and bar with inside and outside terraced areas. Breathtaking views. This hotel is a little gem off the beaten path and away from the mobs in Amalfi or Positano but only 10 minutes away. Highly recommend . Excellent value

This place is a gem. I stayed there only one night and wished I could stay longer. The view from the room was fantastic, the grounds beautiful and the staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the view from the patio was spectacular. In the same building there is a souvenir shop that have a great variety of ceramics and other items. The deli is very convenient, if like us, you don't really feel like sitting down in the restaurant for a full dinner. The hotel is also walking distance from the Emerald Grotto (really a few steps away). Very close to Amalfi and other beautiful places to visit. The place was very peaceful and quiet. I would pick this hotel as base if I have the opportunity fo visit the Amalfi Coast again!

We enjoyed our stay and will happily return again. Room with sea view was very comfortable and having an outside balcony was great where to have a snack/drink or just pass away the hours. Breakfast was good continental. Car parking in designated areas for guests adjacent to entry was handy. Use the lift to access various floors made it easy for luggage and if you don't like steps. Only a short drive away from Amalfi.

A very nice family owned hotel close to Amalfi and Positano. This hotel is ideally located far away from the crowd yet close enough to reach these places conveniently using the bus. The location is awesome, right on the cliff facing the ocean. Almost all room have a balcony facing the ocean where one can have a early morning coffee or just sit an relax. The staff is awesome and will take good care of you. Both my wife and I are vegetarians and we had no issues with the meals there. Good thing, you can request your liking of pasta dish and they will make it for you. I would highly recommend this place.

Boutique hotel but enjoyed my stay there. In between amalfi and positano, both reachable by bus. Originally was going to stay in amalfi, but this is a much better choice as this is much nicer with great views. The owner is always there, he is super nice ans there to greet the guests

Amazing location

From the time we arrived until the time we left was excellent. The owner of the hotel welcomed us and each night met everyone at dinner to ask about their day. The staff at Reception were absolutely helpful and friendly. When leaving the staff prepared a breakfast pack for us and the manager left us a gift.
The views the rooms were amazing. Highly recommend and thank you to everyone at the hotel.

Great escape with stunning views

OK, there are some downsides to staying here, so let's get them out of the way first! The Amalfi coast road is a nightmare, so narrow and congested that an average 10kph would not be a bad estimate. You can sit for 15-20mins easily waiting for a jam to clear. There are no footpaths so walking is risky - and this hotel is just too far from the nearest village to make walking a viable option anyway. Also, when we first checked in we had an apartment-type thing outside the hotel which would have destroyed our holiday had we stayed in it for more than one night. The accommodation is approached via an unmade dirt path, up and down steps leading to a very shabby set of rooms with ramshackle furniture. To make maters worse, the outside space is large, but the view is obscured entirely by overgrown vegetation and our space contained the septic tank with accompanying ventilation and smells - absolutely awful. SO STAY IN THE HOTEL ITSELF!!! We relocated for our last 3 days and the experience was so different that we could have been in a different world.
The hotel room was spacious, clean and with a view to die for from our private balcony. perched 200ft above the sheer drop to the azure sea (yes it is azure!). The staff here are first class and made our stay wonderful. Because of the distances we ate at the hotel every night. There is an a-la-carte menu, but for 3 nights we opted for the resident guest's daily menu - which was very good and extremely well-priced.

Very pleased with our stay! Good value for money..

Staff incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is on the main bus route between potsitano and amalfi (bus stop outside hotel). Enjoyed the rooms and breakfast is served overlooking the sea!

The service was outstanding with a wonderful location and amazing terrace views for the price. The rooms are spacious and large bathrooms with soaking tubs. The only concern is the beds are very hard and I am not picky with bed types. However I would definitely stay again due to location and service. Although it is out of a town area the bus is right out the front door and the hotel is perfectly situated halfway between Positano and Almafi so you have easy access to both areas.

Amazing Amalfi Coast views from beautiful rooms.

This hotel experience was amazing. Amazing, modern and spacious rooms (include a separate living area and bedroom) overlooking amazing Amalfi's coast views. Wonderful and generous breakfast and the most accommodating staff. A must visit. Access to the beach is still on construction but owner told us it will be available soon.

We booked 3 rooms, all were perfect. Personally, we preferred the setup where the bedroom is next to the sea view.

Unbelievable actually the best hotel in amalfie!

Iets talk about how the views our some of the best on earth from the hotel or how the owners dedication and presence is next to non or how the food was overall faultless the menu changed daily and I'm a chef in this area I'm a very honest customer, theres a reduce price for guests too! it has it's own wine cellar grows it's own vegetables was a farm till the 1970s presses its own fruit and herb oils and olive oils thats probably up with the best ive ever tried! is full of olivetress pomegranat trees lemon trees and beautiful wild flowers. It has it own private beach no sand but really with views from the gods who needs sand! Our villa was spotless not even dust in the drawers! Cleaned daily towels changed eveything supplyed down to a sowing kit, It has a cafe and gelato parlour that sales ceramic and gifts and the staff go above a beyond all expectations really well located with boats to anywhere and bustop outside but still out of the way of the amalfi rush we will be back it truly has become our holiday home thank you 20 out of 10.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous views, great art.

This was a relax time after our Italy tour. The hotel is a pearl with its own art shop, restaurant, discounts for guests. It has access to the sea from a rocky platform and we could even snorkel! Very romantic. The views from the rooms and restaurant are breathtaking. Staff is very nice and really makes you feel attended to. And it felt very safe with no suspicious people roaming around. Getting there is an adventure with narrow and winding road but if the buses can do it, anyone else can.

Absolutely stunning!

We had a great stay. Great location and the view is just spectacular. Free boat transfer to the nearest beaches and the hotel stuff is very friendly and nice. The owner of the hotel approached all the guests to make sure everything is fine, so it was very nice to see such care. Highly recommending, worth every penny!!
