Small hotel very well located in Takim. The bathroom was very tiny but had everything needed. Personel was very nice although some workers only spoke Turkish. Everything that wasn't as great ad expected was surpased by the great location

Front desk staff are great as are the breakfast staff. The small refrigerator didn’t work in either room we looked at. Nice that the large fridge in their kitchen was offered but it’s 5 floors away. Great location! Loud club music nearby made it very difficult to sleep. Not their fault but just be aware.

We stayed for one night as part of our transit flight.
The staff specially receptionist was super helpful with check-in and out and helped us with booking for airport transfer with much better rate and a fixed price.
Overall very clean and well maintained. Nice variety and options for breakfast and we quite liked the basement dining area that has view and access to the street.
Access to the lobby is only via few stairs but staff help the guests with their luggage.

My stay at this hotel was by far the worst experience of my life. The hotel was filthy and located in one of the worst parts of Istiklal, right next to a loud club. Even at 4-5 a.m., the noise was so loud it felt like I was inside the club. To make matters worse, the receptionist didn’t speak English, making communication extremely difficult.

One night, I had two guests, and we went to the lobby. I asked the receptionist if we could get two teas, and he brought us tea bags without mentioning that there would be a charge. The next day, I met with some other friends in the lobby and asked for tea again. To my shock, the receptionist told my guests that he wanted to add the payment for that tea to the previous night’s bill! I was horrified—not because they wanted to charge me, but because of how rude and unprofessional it was to say that in front of my guests.

When I confronted him, I pointed out that he hadn't mentioned any charge the first night, and now he was bringing it up in front of my guests, making the situation extremely awkward. In the end, he charged me 200 Turkish lira, with each tea costing 20 lira plus a service fee. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. It was an absolutely terrible experience, and if I could give it 0 stars, I would.

The location is great if you plan to be near Taksim Square and Istiklal Caddesi. Close to restaurants, shopping, and metro. Hotel is nice. Room was nice and clean. Some music from near by clubs can be heard during the night but nothing unbrlearable. Breakfast was good. Housekeeping staff was pleasant and did a great job replenishing items. As for front desk Suleiman and Mustafa were great and not to mention Ibrahim. They are a little overworked but always a smile and will help you however they can. Stayed as family had a great experience. The area around the hotel is busy and crowded but hey this is Taksim. Recommend this place!

AVOID STAYING AT THIS HOTEL!!!

This was my worst hotel experience ever! It’s right next to all the night clubs that stay open until 6-7am in the morning. I was traveling with my mom and we couldn’t sleep at all. While talking to the management I realized they were completely unprofessional and couldn’t handle the customer issue very well. They refused switching me and my mom (who is 65 years old) to more quite room at no extra cost. Instead, I had to pay extra out of my pocket to have the room that’s more quite where at least we could have good sleep. The room which I payed extra for had the same amount of noise coming from the outside night club music. Moreover, the hotel is located in a shady area, which I think not very safe! Breakfast was very poor and not fresh! Towels were dirty and I had ask to change them over and over! I could have complained more about cleanliness to the management but I just gave up after having terrible customer service! Eventually we ended up moving out from this hotel to another one in Sultanahmet which was cheaper and way better quality than Luxir.

I am still surprised how this hotel have good reviews in Expedia! Biggest disappointment!!!

Really nice place, close to the city center l, lovely reception friendly all around. Could do with better breakfast. During my last night I wanted to take a shower at 4am but the water was not running in the toilet, but later returned in the morning. Over all it was a good experience

Awesome location very clean room, breakfast is really good and there were really good options at the buffet. My room was very clean, big and comfortable. Best thing about this place is people are so nice they were so helpful I felt like I was home, especially big thanks to Mahkum he went above and beyond. I’ll be staying LUXIR again and definitely recommending friends and family.

The place is extremely small, the room had no windows what so ever and was on the ground floor next to the staff bathroom, there was no blankets and the bed cover was dirty. The staff being friendly is not enough of an excuse to recommend this place unfortunately.

One of the best hotels in this area (Taksim), for these reasons:
-The location is perfect. in the middle of Istiklal street, this street is always live and crowded. you can reach a lot of brand shops by 1 min walking.
-It is like 2 min walking away from Taksim metro.
-This hotel is new so all the rooms and stuffs are new. The building itself is a little old but that is not a problem because everything is renewed.
-The staffs are very helpful and friendly.
-Breakfast is nice and it is exactly as it's shown in the images.
-If you are family or more than one person, consider deluxe rooms or suits, maybe normal room is a little bit small for more than one person.
-If you want to get hotel in this area, this one is one of the best choices.
But be aware that the style of hotels and buildings in this area is different.

Es war schön, mitten im Taksim. In der Umgebung konnte gut Essen und es waren viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Nur im Zimmer hatten paar Sachen gefehlt.
Der Föhn im Bad hat nicht funktioniert. Habe einen Ersatzföhn bekommen aber wenn man Föhn und den Kühlschrank gleichzeitig benutzt hat, haben die Sicherung verrückt gespielt. Ich wollte einen Zimmer für zwei Personen aber das Zimmer war ein Zimmer für eine Person.

This hotel is a complete scam. The breakfast staff were very rude and don’t care at all and make no effort to help. The room was filthy, nothing like the photos they advertise. The WHILE sofa were covered in stains, and the overall condition was disgusting. Charging over €100 a night for this dump is outrageous. There is absolutely no way it deserves the high review score shown online – the ratings must be faked or manipulated. Stay away from this place at all costs.

Tte same goes for the rooftop, it is nothing like the pictures, it has only a couple of filthy chair and full of birdshit and other dirt, it has bot been cared for at all.

Calisanlar cok iyi insanlar ve her konuda yardimci oluyorlar. Hotel tam Beyoglunda konum güzel. Odalar biraz eskimis temizlikte daha iyi olabilir.
Konaklamak icin ama gayet iyi. Geceleri Disconun sesleri geliyor ama yorgunluktan zaten hemen uyuyor insan.

Hotel was vies en stonk naar riool. Dweilen deden ze niet vloer was heel vies. Personeel aan de balie was vriendelijk. Personeel die het ontbijt klaar zette was heel onaardig en zeker niet klant vriendelijk. Hij gooit met borden wordt boos als wij eten en wij moesten zelf om bestek en mokken vragen omdat deze niet worden aangevuld.

Hotel würde ich nicht weiter empfehlen Badezimmer katastrophal oben an der Decke Schimmel Duschkabinen Tür defekt geht nicht zu. Eingang zum Badezimmer Tür schloss defekt. Waschbecken Wasser läuft nicht ab. Wir hatten für zwei Tage gebucht sind aber ein Tag vorher raus. Abends laute Musik bis 4:00 Uhr morgens. War nicht mehr auszuhalten.
Positiv gab es nicht viel Bettwäsche war sauber Personal war nett konnten aber nicht viel unternehmen. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht wieder buchen.

Sehr kleine Zimmer. Sehr laut in der Nacht bus 5 Uhr wegen den Bars in der Nähe. Ab 7 Uhr Baustelle am Hotel. Schlafen kann man hier definitv nicht. Betten Matratzen durchgelegen. Badezimmer Decken voller Schimmel, Bad-Equipment defekt. Doppelzimmer mit Klappbett werden als Familienzimmer bzw. Dreibettzimmer verkauft. Leider wird das alles von Expedia tolleriert und der Kunde bleibt auf den Kosten sitzen.

Inmitten der istiklal Straße abends unfassbar laut da direkt angrenzend eine Bar extrem laute Musik mit hohem Bass spielt .
Ich war 2 mal in dem Hotel der erste Aufenthalt war mittelmäßig beim 2 mal hatte ich ein sehr ruhiges Zimmer nach hinten hin .
Alles ok , sehr sehr günstige Unterkunft kann man nicht meckern.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich dreckig. Wir hatten Flecken auf der Bettwäsche. Es wurde direkt gehandelt und die Bettwäsche gewechselt, jedoch hatte auch die neue Bettwäsche Flecken. Beim 2. Wechsel hatten wir dann eine Bettwäsche ohne Flecken. Die Handtücher haben Löcher und der Duschschlauch war kaputt. Expedia verspricht einen Ausblick auf die Stadt, welches das Hotel jedoch nicht anbietet. Wir sind von Expedia und von der Unterkunft wirklich enttäuscht. Unser „Ausblick“ war in die Lücke zur Baustelle nebenan. Wir wollten direkt auschecken, jedoch war weder Expedia noch das Hotel so kulant, uns wenigstens die 2. Nacht zu erstatten. Die Lage ist zwar sehr zentral zur Istiklal Caddesi, jedoch sehr gefährlich. Das Hotel befindet sich nämlich in einer Seitenstraße, in welcher sich Tag und Nacht Jugendliche aufhalten, welche nicht nett aussehen.

Das einzig positive sind die beiden Mitarbeiter, welche wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit sind und uns beim Transfer sehr geholfen haben.

Beyoğlunun en kötü oteli

Otelde resepsiyondaki herkes Arap, Türkçe bilen insan dahi yok. Asansör 50x50cm ölçüsünde, eşinizle dahi binemiyorsunuz. Oda fotoğraflardan da görüleceği gibi çok pis. Yatak arkası da kullanılmış kondom dahi gördük. Otelin bitişiğindeki yaygara bar yasak olmasına rağmen sabah 5 e kadar son ses canlı müzik yayını yapıyor. Resepsiyona söylediğiniz de birşey yapamayız diyorlar. İlgisizliğin bu kadarına da pes. Pis, Uykusuz rezil olacağınız bir otel arıyorsanız burası ilk tercihiniz olsun. Konumu dışında hiçbir artısı yok.
