An old & tired hotel (as its staff)

As its located miles away and with shops shut for the afternoon, it would have been a necessary if not nice gesture to provide guests with tea / coffee making facilities and have a snack machine for young guests perhaps. Was astounded being charged €11.50 for a small cup of tea at the hotel on checking out!!

Breakfast (which is included) is the same fare every day and caters mainly to meat eaters. We stayed for 5 days and by Day 3, this becomes unpalatable.

A hotel to be missed!!

The hotel was a pleasant surprise.. The swimmingpool is bigger than it looks on photos. The staff are friendly and always ready to help.. Free bicycles, beach towels cheap, free ice packs for pack lunches and large car park.. Downside is, to make sure you write all you have spent in bar and hotel as someone used our room number and gave us a bill of couple hundred.. However, this was all adjusted without any hassle and the hotel removed all fees that weren't ours..

Lovely hotel with super facilities and location

Four lovely days in Stintino near La Pelosa beach which is beautiful. A courtesy bus takes you to the beach and brings you back and the staff were very helpful during our stay. Asinara was a lovely day out on a ferry and Jeep, but our main reason for staying at Cala Reale was for a relaxing few days break.

fabulous friendly hotel with great service

Wonderful hotel in great area with all the touches of a 4* hotel! For the price this hotel was the best one we stayed in in sardinia. The location is lovely - just a 10min stroll from stintino harbour and a enough restaurants to chose from to last a few days stay. The excellent shuttle bus to the amazing stintino beach (the best in sardinia) is a fabulous touch with no more than a 15 min wait to be dropped off or collected and we loved this beach and which we had stayed longer here rather than bothering to go over to porto cervo on the other side of the island. well done cala reale you really do go above and beyond and its appreciated. Breakfast is great too with lovely fresh coffees and nice seating and choice.

First visit to Stintino and Sardinia

We stayed for a week at Cala Reale; it was in a great location within walking distance of Stintino centre and they have a courtesy minibus to ferry you to the main beach which is a short drive (about 5 minutes).

Hotel facilities were great, especially the pool. We stayed in the 3rd week of June 2015 and had a wonderful break post GCSE exams. We enjoyed a poolside room on the ground floor, but would probably choose a first floor room if we were to return.

We decided to spend two nights in Stintino so we booked this hotel. When we checked in and went to the room we were a little let down as it felt like a box and was on the road side. No views of anything really. The room was clean so nothing against that. But if you like to spend time in the room then you may want to look elsewhere. We did ask the reception if we could change the room. He was very nice and switched us to another room that had a view to the ocean. This was a better room, but I would not say its a place you would want to hang out. Generally it is a good hotel, but if want a place to hang out in your room then maybe you could look for something different. Its worth noting you can walk to the town as its only about a 10 min slow walk.

One of the best holidays we've had in last years. Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Gluten free meals - no problem. Big swimming pool and great connection to city and beach (apparently the best beach on north). We've asked if room change was possible (next to swiming pool) and this was no problem at all. Great place to stay with kids. Great selection for breakfast and restaurant open till late. Bar facilty plus shuttle bus to nearest beach and city. Bicycles available for short trips. Not a big deal but there was no kettle in room. Other than this is a high 4+ out of 5 from me. Would defenitely recommendand be back in future.

三歳の子供連れて四泊しました。お庭に遊具があり子供が喜びました。有名なペローサビーチにいく無料シャトルバスがあり便利でした。壊れていましたが、ビーチパラソルもホテルのフロントで無料で貸してもらえました。ビーチで遊ぶ道具も貸してもらえます。スティンティーノの街まで徒歩で10分強です。ホテルのレストランのディナーはいまいちでした。スティンティーノにあるOpera Vivaというレストランがとても美味しかったです。ホテルは空港からタクシーで60-70ユーロでした。所要時間40分。シャトルバスもあり、片道一人6ユーロでバス停はホテルから300メートルで近いですが、本数が非常に少ないです。ホテルの部屋はシービューをリクエストしたら良い部屋を案内されました。

Excellent - a week in paradise!

My two (girl) friends and I travelled here for a week in June, and selected the hotel for its close location to La Pelosa. The hotel staff were friendly, fluent in English, and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble to arrange or book or organise. We stayed in a triple room - it was clean and light and had a small fridge, and wonderfully cool airconditioning! The beds were very firm and the shower a little small, but beyond that we really couldn't complain - it was excellent value for money and very comfortable.

The swimming pool was splendid, the shuttle to Le Pelosa a real plus, and the food good overall. The breakfast buffet was a little heavy on sweet pastries - (no eggs and a little sparse on the cheese), but there was enough to cater to everyone's tastes - cereals, croissants, bread and plenty of ham(s). We had dinner one evening only (we prefered to explore the town the other nights) but it was very delicious and supreme value for money.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun time in Sardegna!

This was my 3rd visit in Stintino and this hotel made so far the best impression on me.The grounds, hotel rooms and beautiful pool are kept spotlessly clean. Pool it's self is as clean as Pelosa beach.Thourougly enjoyed swimming in it. Suitable for adults and kids alike as the pool is sectioned in 2 parts.Staff at the desk are friendly and very helpfull. Very near to the Stintino town, few supermarkets around(avoid Sisa nearby as the cashier likes to overcharge,so check your receipts!)Free hotel shuttle to Pelosa beach.
Rooms are not huge but it has everything you need plus charming balcony.Very comfy beds.
The only downside for us was the breakfast, even though you could choose from different things the selection was small, they should have a bigger buffet.

Impeccabile dal punto di vista degli operatori, persone molto gentili e disponibili per ogni esigenza, la struttura in se per se è carina peccato per l invasione di formiche all interno della stanza , a malincuore ma qualcosa in piu si potrebbe fare per ovviare a tal problema. La zona piscina purtroppo anche essa poco curata, a causa della pioggia il pavimento era completamente sporco di fango marrone impensabile cammire scalzi, anche in questo caso una passata di acqua con una pompa avrebbe risolto il problema, per non paralre del fatto che ci sono escrementi di volatili lungo tutto il perimetro che devi fare lo slalom x non calpestarle, per non parlare dei lettini molto sporchi anche essi. Nella struttura sono presenti delle casette e giochi da giardino per i bambini tenuti in condizioni pessime ragantele e sporcizia varia nn consente nemmeno di avvicinarsi, peccato perché è una meta x famiglie e, il giochino è un intrattenimento in piu x i piu piccoli che s annoiano di continuo. Mi auguro che queste mie puntualizzazioni possano dar spunto a chi di dovere di apportare piccoli accorgimenti per rendere il soggiorno dei clienti ancora piu accogliente.

Hotel immerso in un contesto meraviglioso. Siamo stati accolti molto bene al check-in, i camerieri del ristorante sono stati eccezionali sempre cortesi gentili e disponibili. Abbiamo soggiornato con formula mezza pensione e siamo soddisfatti della qualità e varietà dei piatti tipici locali sardi proposti. La Piscina è stata favolosa. Unico aspetto negativo al check-out in cui ci siamo sentiti come cacciati via con una dipendente che ci è venuta a cercare in stanza più volte intorno all’orario previsto sostenendo che il check-out era per le 10.00 ma in realtà quando abbiamo prenotato era scritto ore 11.00…la sera prima di andare via abbiamo chiesto conferma dell’orario e ci è stato riferito 10.30…già segnalato alla struttura alberghiera questa discrepanza della comunicazione dell’orario del check-out

La structure un peu décadente, très petite salle de bain avec un lavabo minuscule.
Chambre pas très fonctionnelle (peu d'espace pour ranger e rien pour poser les valises.
Beaucoup de bruit de fond (même la nuit) en continu car la configuration fait que tout le monde passe devant les chambres de tout le monde.
Dommage car la localisation est parfaite et il suffirait peu pour que l'ensemble soit bien meilleur.

Très bon hôtel. Les chambres sont confortables et propres. La piscine très agréable. Petit déjeuner très bon. Personnel sympathique. Rien à redire de ce côté.
Une réserve toutefois : nous avions demandé au réceptionniste de nous réserver le bateau aller/retour et les vélos pour se rendre à Asinara le lendemain, comme l’hôtel le propose. Il accepte et prend mon numéro pour nous tenir informés quand cela sera fait. A notre retour de plage (18h), nous apprenons avec stupeur que rien n’était disponible pour les vélos en août par une autre réceptionniste et ce depuis longtemps. Rien n’a donc été fait et nous n’avons pas été prévenus de la journée. Nous avons du tout gérer dans la précipitation et devant le fait accompli, d’autant que tous les autres interlocuteurs ultérieurs étaient très clairs à ce sujet : en août tous les vélos étaient bookés à Stintino depuis longtemps. Ne pas le savoir est une chose, l’apprendre en appelant et prévenir les clients immédiatement en est une autre. Nous aurions apprécié plus de professionnalisme de ce côté afin de pouvoir organiser un plan B plus rapidement et sereinement pour aller à Asinara.

Hotel confortável, quarto amplo. Alguns quartos mais antigos, não tão bons. Check out cedo, 11h, mas deixaram ficar até 12h. Pessoal atencioso e simpático.Café da manhã bom, mas curta duração, de 8 as 10h. Ótima piscina. Restaurante com opção de almoço e jantar para hóspedes por 20 euros por pessoa. Fica a 2,5km da praia La pelosa, e uns 5 min do centrinho de carro. Na cidade não há muito o que fazer, se o objetivo for conhecer somente a la pelosa recomendo dormir em Alghero.

Positivo: La piscina es fantástica. El entorno ajardinado muy agradable. Desayuno bufet libre muy completo. Servicio gratuito de van que te lleva a Spiaggua La Pelosa.

Negativo: Las habitaciones para 3 son un poco justad. En el redtaurante no abre a mediodía (sólo desayuno y cena). Hay conexión wifi q llega a las habitaciones pero con señal débil.

Hotel bom para famílias. O senhor que me recebeu a noite na recepção, muito simpático e prestativo. Peguei regime meia pensão e foi a melhor escolha. O jantar era bom e diversificado. O café da manhã é estilo continental e estava sempre sendo reposto. Os quartos do hotel são um pouco velhos, mas bem conservados. Os hóspedes fazem barulho a noite, podendo incomodar um pouco, mas nada que te tire o sono. Fui em alta temporada e tudo ocorreu bem.

Le monsieur a lacceuil est assez desagreable il ne repond pas au question et repette son discours comme un robot . La chambre est pas tres bien concue et le buffet est tres limité en plus des 20e par tete vous payer vos bouteolle deau pendant le repas 3e donc 46 a deux a ce prix je vous conseil de faire un resto. Rien a faire dans les alentours.

Wir verbrachten mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel - war sehr angenehm und schön. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, wir haben im Städtchen Stintino gegessen und konnten zu Fuss ins Hotel zurückgehen. Den Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, ev. sollten die Öffnungszeiten noch etwas verlängert werden. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, gross genug, die sanitären Anlagen sind ok. Einziger kleiner Negativpunkt: Wlan ist nur bei der Rezeption genügend.

Solides 3 Sterne Hotel ohne Überraschungen

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind schon ein wenig \"alt\" und könnten man erneuert werden, für ein 3 Sterne Hotel aber in großem und ganzem voll ok. Angenehm aufgefallen ist die Dusche mit sehr warmen Wasser und einem tollen Wasserdruck. Der Pool ist durchaus positiv aufgefallen.

Veraltete Bude!

Bei der Buchung war das Hotel und die Zimmer auf den Bildern noch ansprechend, vor Ort traf man jedoch bei dem Zimmer veraltete Einrichtung und Zustand vor, welche vor 20 Jahren sicher noch Modern waren. Die Terrasse und deren Bestellung entsprach absolut nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard! Man fühlte sich daher nicht sehr wohl! Ansonsten war der Empfang und Service freundlich und herzlich. Preis - Leistung stimmt nicht.

Très bon hôtel

Très bien reçu par la réceptionniste qui nous a accompagnée jusqu'à la chambre et très bien conseillée sur les excursions. La chambre était confortable, le wifi correct, la piscine au top. Le petit déjeuné était conséquent. Le moons: il faudrait insonoriser plus les chambres. Le plus: prêt de vélo et navette gratuite pour les plages. A 10 minutes à pieds du centre c'est un hotel que nous recommandons.

Never again this hotel

Hôtel overpriced. First night we were missing one bed and when we complained at the desk we were said that there was nothing to do about it as it was night and the worse is that we were charged . There is no lunch or snack offered for lunch , however in the hotel website says restaurant service lunch . Towels for the swimming pool are charged 2.50 euros each . The worse was an experience with a hotel driver who screamed at us and treated us badly saying that we were late for the shuttle service which was their mistake as nobody explained to us where to wait to pick us up . Moreover, it was me to call the hotel asking to pick us up and I told them where we were waiting . So big communication issues among the employees. Also, at the swimming pool there is a young lady who is supposed to supervise the swimming pool and instead she was looking at her computer or phone all the time and last Sunday she brought her friends to the pool and she was swimming with them and spent the day with them speaking and so on . Not doing her job at all . The building is not the standard of what you see in the website . Some people at the reception nice but others really arrogant and no customer service at all . Never again this hotel !!!!

A l'Accueil, le personnel ne parle qu'Italien et Anglais, aucun effort à parler Français..
Les chambres sont petites, avec un confort mini: matelas dur ne dépassant pas les 10 cm, des oreillers plats (j'appelle cela des galettes), chambre très très très mal insonorisé.... c'est un Hotel 3 étoiles correspondant à un 2 étoiles en france.

Chambre défraîchi, ensemble mal entretenu, pour un 3 étoiles le petit déjeuner commence qu'à 8 heures. Très mal insonorisées et pas d'ascenseur.
Heureusement que nous rester qu'une nuit.
Literie affreuse. Le matelas était hs.
Bref hôtel a déconseillé vivement.

We recommend this Hotel

The stay has been quite good. Hotel was better than expected. Due to the price we wasn't sure but it's been quite good. Hotel is located next to City Center of Stintino, the distance you could walk easily. To go to beaches you either need a car or go by bus. Bus Station in front of the Hotel. By foot it's to far for our personal feeling.

Nette Hotelanlage

Eine Nacht im Cala Reale hat erstmal ausgereicht. Wir hatten ein sehr hellhöriges Zimmer. Man hat jeden Schritt, Toilettengang und Stuhlrücken vom Nachbarn gehört. Ein großes Manko für ein doch schönes Hotel. Großer Pool, sehr gutes Frühstück mit Blick aufs Meer und deutschsprachiges Personal, sowie das saubere Zimmer sprechen wiederum für das Haus! Highlight ist der Wahnsinns-Strand La Pelosa. 5 min Fahrzeit mit Auto. Den muss man sehen!

Perfekt für nebensaison

Frühstück war für Italien megatoll. Die Leute, der Service alle nett. Ich empfehle es weiter. Worauf ich hinweisen muss ist die extreme hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. In der Nebensaison nicht schlimm, da fast keine Gäste.

Terra d'incanto

Poco lontano dal residence si possono trovare spiagge da incanto, La Pelosa, La Pelosetta e altre ancora.. L'escursione che abbiamo fatto sull'isola dell'Asinara è stata stupefacente.
Cortesia e professionalità di tutto lo staff, ci hanno reso la vacanza davvero piacevole.
