Nice, quiet, private hotel near La Pelosa.

Great loation. Located very close to La Pelosa. Easy drive or bike ride to La Pelosa and other beaches/outdoor activities. Nice hotel but seemed focused on families with children. We were a young couple and felt a little out of place. Not sure if it was the time of year or if this place appeals to couples with children. Not an issue because we spent most our time at off the property. Great staff.

A little complex for short stays

May not suit a short stay as its location and quirks take some time to understand.

Staff were friendly and working hard. Room was spotless and with a new bathroom. Roof terrace allowed views across to La Pelosa and hotel grounds.

Breakfast buffet was ok. Shuttle service to La Pelosa beach worked ok but you need to book the day before when busy.

May suit (family) travellers staying longer.

Great stay, good location lovely hotel.

Pros; Great buffet dinner, good breakfast, amazing scenery, shuttle services, great swimming pool, private beach, luxury

Cons; limited wifi (hotel lobby only), private beach can only be used if you have booked a sun lounger, at cost of 15 euros per day extra. Was not told about this when we arrived, so we went down to private beach (where swimming pool is and is the main draw of this hotel) and were told it was fully booked for the next couple of days for our stay, as it was a busy period. You can walk around there, go to the swimming pool, but you cannot really stay there as you are not allowed to just put a towel on the beach and lie down, effectively meaning you have to rent a sun lounger from them. After some argument, we managed to convince them to open one up for us for the first day, then we had to argue again to get one on the second day. They sorted us out eventually, but feel this would have been easier if all explained to us at the beginning!

overall though, great hotel, and once on the private beach, beautiful and swimming in the sea was outstanding.

We had a wonderfull stay at club hotel Ancora. Breakfast and diner were extensive and delicious. The people in the hotel were friendly and helpfull. The beach was close at the hotel about 5 minutes walk over a path which was beautifull. I was together with my daughter and we had a lovely holiday!

Kids didn't want to leave! Ever!

This is 1K from one of the greatest beaches in Italy/Europe. What do they say? Location, location, location. They run a shuttle bus there too to make things even easier for you!

The hotel was clean and felt like a small holiday resort rather than just a 'hotel'. My children loved it. It had a play ground and some outdoor beds and hammocks for the grown ups to relax on while the kids played. The resort is was small enough that you could quickly make friends. You could walk to the beach/pool area so if you don't have a car no problem.

The pool is salt water. It is a great pool that is great for swimming lengths and is right on the beach so you can alternate back and forth to the pool and beach without having to move. That is very useful! .Also have a great restaurant by the pool/beach if you are not staying half board. The hotel beach is fun in a different way to Palosa. It has some rocks to explore, can be good for snorkelling and kids will still entertain them selves in the sand, but the sand is more grainy/rocky.

It is a 5 minute steep walk from the hotel to the beach and pool. But considering you get the view from the hotel it is a small compromise!

We were staying at end of May so the start of the season so maybe we got lucky but it was pretty quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. As I put on the title the kids wanted to stay forever. If the kids are happy, then mum and dad are happy.

Great location and grounds

Difficult to give a rating as the gardens and grounds are wonderful, but the room was rather shabby and general condition of the accommodation rather tired. Bathroom had been done up and was fine. Generally a good holiday though! We were there at the end of the season so probably did not see it at its best. Views were superb and position very good.

Very quiet and pleasant hotel for families or as a base for sport activities. Located in nice and pleasant pine and palm tree garden. Nice to stay here!
Although the *** rooms are not large, all the rooms have pleasant terrace.

"Great hotel in a fantastic location!"

Great hotel in a fantastic location, with its own private beach and swimming pool. Only a few minutes' drive from one of the best and most picturesque beaches in Sardinia - La Pelosa.
Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, even the bunk beds for the kids. The modern bathroom was very spacious. Excellent breakfast.
We were surprised the hotel has only 3 stars, it definitely deserves 4.

Very attractive but

This is a rare well deserved 3* hotel and better than most 4* I have visited in Italy.
The peculiar but attractive buildings are surrounded by a beautiful garden with views of the sea. The outdoor bar and the restaurant are also very attractive. The quality of your bedroom comes down to sheer luck: some are old and dingy with uncomfortable beds and bathroom, others have been renovated in a simple but fresh and attractive decor, and offer better beds.
Breakfast was the fresh although targeted to Italians (practically no cooked and/or salted food was on offer). The fact that the hotels gives priority to the half/full board guests when choosing atable in the morning makes those who like to eat out feel as second class guests.
The staff in the lobby is extremely pleasant and friendly butsome of the waiters less so.
On the down side the very limited timetable of the shuttle service, which ends before breakfast, and having to pay extra for a children show that some of us may not want to see, are two very irritating factors.
Another disillusion was the ambiance at the hotel: mostly Italian middle class families with small children.

Lovely location with beautiful grounds. Family rooms consist of a main room with separate room and ensuite. We went B&B only so the fridge was useful.Family rooms do lack a sea view but the patio areas are very private. Breakfast buffet was excellent but you were made to feel like a second class citizen if you hadn't booked all inclusive, which most people had. Everyone else had a specific table to sit in and we were made to feel quite awkward each morning whilst they found somewhere for us to sit. We had one evening meal. Again it is buffet style, but apart from the salads it was not enjoyable.
The large pool, situated down by the sea is salt water. We did miss having a pool up by the apartments. The beach and facilities are excellent - canoes and pedalos are avaialble to use for a separate weekly charge. Sunbeds are extra again, unless you get up early and find one by the pool rather than on the beach. Beach is fabulous, as are the beaches along the bay - although the hotel beach was much quieter. Try the restaurant on the beach. Exellent! Spend you money here rather than opt for all inclusive at the hotel!! Stintino town is very lovely, upmarket and with some good eateries. Try the pizzeria by the harbour. Most of the guests were Italian with young children and evening and daytime entertainment was provided for them. We went last week in July and did not find the area too busy.

Very Good Hotel

If you have kids, it's a perfect hotel (ton's of activities). We went sans kids and still loved it. The only negative is that the hotel does not have a pool and instead you have to walk a 4 minutes down hill to the boat club. Also, at the pool/beach, there are not enough chairs for every one. The hotel is in walking distance to the great beach and is a short drive into Stintino. A car is helpful, but not necessary. The room is not 4 star by any measure but comfortable. What makes the room is the private upstairs deck that each room has, which overlooks the ocean. beautiful grounds. Decent breakfast - not amazing. We would stay here again.

Chambre propre et confortable seul bémol l’insonorisation avec l’extérieur (musique du club) et acoustique avec les chambres voisines, heureusement on n’y allait qu’une nuit.
Déjeuner parfait personnel accueillant.
Piscine : bonnet obligatoire dans ces conditions on n’y a pas mis les pieds, d’ailleurs si on avait su on aurait pas réservé, plage privée oui mais transat payant 20€, bref on est allé plus loin aussi

L'albergo si trova a un km dalla spiaggia La Pelosa quindi in una posizione strategica. La Pelosa è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi o con la navetta messa a disposizione dalla struttura. L'albergo è immerso in un giardino curato e lussureggiante e il personale è gentilissimo, disponibile e attento anche alle esigenze dei bambini. Le stanze avrebbero necessità di una rimodernata ma nel complesso sono accoglienti. Capitolo piscina: di acqua salata, a più di 200 metri dalla struttura principale, praticamente si trova in spiaggia e ombrelloni e lettini sono a pagamento anche per usufruire della sola piscina... non mi era mai successo in altre strutture. Inoltre, noi avevamo la mezza pensione e le bevande non erano comprese, neanche l'acqua. A parte queste due pecche, ci siamo trovati bene... non siamo andati per stare in piscina d'altronde. Nel complesso lo consiglio.

abbiamo prenotato in questo albergo dal 01 al 04 e mentre stavamo per raggiungere l'albergo abbiamo avuto un incidente stradale ,siamo stati portati in ospedale con il referto di mia moglie dello sterno e costole fratturato ,
nonostante avessimo contattato la reception per raccontargli l'accaduto c'è stato detto che non gli fregava niente e non ci davano ne un rimborso ne un altro periodo di soggiorno .... Grazie mille Sardegna

Bella struttura in stile anni ‘70 immersa nel verde. Le camere standard sono un po’ piccole e da rinfrescare.
Bel parco attrezzato con amache e lettini, con bellissima vista sul mare.
Colazione ottima servita nell’elegante ristorante all’aperto.
Piscina e spiaggia privata accanto ad un porticciolo turistico.
Comodo servizio navetta gratuito per la spiaggia della Pelosa che si trova a circa un chilometro.
Animazione per bambini.

Réservation pour un Séjour d’une nuit en chambre triple. Chambre minuscule !! Obligés de se faufiler pour pouvoir contourner le lit ! Salle de bain également minuscule impossible d’y tenir à 2.
Obligés de payer la carte club 5€ par personne et par nuit alors que nous n’avons utilisé aucun service de l’hôtel.

Nettes Hotel mit schönem Garten

Schönes Hotel mit Zimmern unterschiedlichen Aufbaus und Einrichtung. Sehr schöner Garten. Das Frühstück kann bei gutem Wetter draußen eingenommen werden. Der Swimmingpool liegt etwas entfernt am Meer im Yachthafenbereich. Der Strandbereich ist klein und nicht ganz so schön. Bei der Buchung einer Anschlussnacht im Hotel nach Buchung der ersten Nacht über das Internet gab es komplizierte Preisdiskussionen.

La struttura è inserita in un contesto molto bello. La camera superior è molto piccola anche se ha un balcone carino. Il personale è disponibile anche per organizzare gite. Colazione buona e abbastanza abbondante. Si è obbligati a fare la tessera club per 5€ a persona anche se non si usufruiscano di nessun servizio dell’hotel

Boa localização e atendimento satisfatório. Bom café da manhã. Clube de praia bom, mas a um custo de 15 euros o guarda sol e espreguiçadeiras. Ainda contam uma taxa meio abusiva e obrigatória de 10 euros para uso de Van até à praia La Pelosa, que fica a 1km de distância. O água do chuveiro do banheiro é fraca demais e precisa ser melhorada. Valeu pelo espaço de banho que é disponibilizado após o chek-out às 10h, o que possibilita aproveitarmos o clube de praia com calma e sairmos a qualquer hora das dependências do hotel.

Plassen var helt fantastisk, nydelig område på hotellet og gode tilbud for aktiviteter på stranden i tillegg til på hotellet.

Men det er derimot feil info på hotels.com sine sider, der det står at resepsjonen har begrenset åpningstider, og at en må ringe for å avtale innsjekk. Hotellet har døgnåpen resepsjon.

Mauvaise description et publicité mensongère

Établissement club où nous avons eu de mauvaises surprises. L’etablIssement est bien placé, petit déjeuner de qualité , beau jardin et proche de la mer.
Par contre, rien n’est Précisé dans la présentation que :
- la plage est privée et par conséquent vous devez payer votre transat tous les jours . Petite plage laide à côté d’un petit port.
- piscine d’eau salée , sale , proche de la plage donc pleine de sable .
- obligation d’acheter une carte club de l’hotel à raison de 4 € par jour et par personne . Soit plus de 50 € pour nous . A quoi sert elle ? À rien ! Elle permet de vous reconnaître dans le club ?!? Arnaque totale et manière de gonfler la facture.
- repas du soir formule buffet : 25 € x personne ( moins bien que chez Flunch)
- obligation de s’enregistrer pour prendre la navette qui va à la plage de Paloma.
- photos du site sont conformes aux chambres et intérieures mais totalement mensongères pour la piscine et la petite plage.
- animation extérieure le soir proche des chambres jusqu’à 23h00 - 23h30 et donc impossible de se coucher avant si vous avez de jeunes enfants.
En conclusion , nous y sommes restés pour dormir, prendre le petit déjeuner, et partions tous les matins ailleurs pour Aller sur d’autres plages, gratuites et vastes. Si vous aimez les animations, le bruit , la foule et les ambiances club , allez y. Si vous cherchez du repos, de la tranquillité , oubliez !
Une grande déception . Nous n’y retournerons jamais

Schöne Unterkunft mit ein paar Abstrichen

Die Anlage an sich ist schön gestaltet, liegt ruhig in viel Natur und der Weg zum Strand ist nicht weit. Allerdings ist es abends lange laut, da es ein Clubhotel ist. Es ist verpflichtend, eine Clubcard zu kaufen (ca. 30 Euro pro Woche und Person!). Dafür darf man dann Fahrräder leihen und bekommt die Liegen am Strand günstiger. Die Verpflichtung zur Clubcard und dass die Liegen am Strand Gebühr kosten, hat uns überhaupt nicht gefallen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und umfangreich (wenn auch sehr süß), wir haben allerdings etwas frisches Gemüse vermisst. Vieles ist verpackt, was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat. Der Pool hat eine angenehme Temperatur, wenngleich er nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand ist. Die Damen an der Rezeption sind sehr nett, wenngleich auch nicht alle englisch sprechen.

La camera 218 è allestita su due piani, con un terrazzino vista mare raggiungibile attraverso una scala. Nel terrazzino è possibile stendere i panni, sono inoltre presenti un tavolino e due sedie. La camera in sé risente un po' degli anni ma è ben tenuta, il bagno è ristrutturato. Purtroppo la struttura non è minimamente insonorizzata. Belli la sala colazione e il giardino, molto premurose le ragazze alla reception. L'hotel ha una spiaggia privata che è possibile raggiungere attraverso un tunnel. Personalmente la trovo brutta e inadatta a fare il bagno, perché di fatto è cementificata e dà su un moletto. Alla tariffa pagata bisogna aggiungere 30 euro alla settimana per la tessera. Il costo viene ricalcolato in base al numero di notti di permanenza, per esempio per una notte è circa 4.50 a persona. Bisogna anche aggiungere la tassa di soggiorno che viene versata direttamente al comune di Stintino. Ho notato che sui vari portali c'è confusione su questi dettagli.
Consiglerei sicuramente questo hotel per l'ottima colazione e lo staff accogliente e disponibile.

Beautifull/fantastic position and structure, BUT..

Beautifull/fantastic position and structures in general, staff at the reception very kind and professional, BUT... Restaurant and bar staff visibly to one of the first experiences (both in service and in behavior in front of customers) without having an expert guide to help and correct them, room not in good conditions which would require some extra attention/maintenance, lack of different cocktails due to lack of alcoholic beverages because no new bottles are opened in september (!!!!), cleaning staff (noisy in the morning) that leaves bunches of unattended room keys where anyone could take possession of them, safe in the wardrobe not anchored and ready to be removed with its content, total absence of smoke/fire detection in the room.

Breve vacanza in famiglia a Stintino

Hotel molto accogliente con personale gentile e disponibile. Camere un po datate ma molto spaziose e pulite (eravamo in 5 e c'era spazio per tutti!). Giardini curati e in generale l'atmosfera che si respira è di puro relax e benessere. Gli unici due piccoli inconvenienti sono stati la qualità della wifi (solo nella hall e non sempre buona) e il caffè (sarebbe da cambiare fornitore!)
Se dovesse consigliare a degli amici con bambini, non esiterei a mandarli al club hotel Ancora

Contratamos um quarto família dentro do hotel, e quando chegamos nos ofereceram um apartamento bem distante do hotel, mal conservado e sem ar condicionado. Reclamamos e nos colocaram em um outro apartamento, também muito distante, mas bem conservado e com ar condicionado.

Chegamos meio dia e meio e o quarto não estava liberado e fomos avisados que deveríamos liberar o quarto quando saíssemos as 10hs ficamos aquardando 1hora para ocuparmos o quarto recepcionista não foi gentil .fucamos apenas 1 dia pois quandoreservamis não tinha disponibilidade pelo site por mais 2 dias e fomos informado que se tivéssemos ligado diretamente teria está dusponibilidade . Piscina muito longe da área do hotel . Fora isso instalações boas e café da manhã muito bom
