Resort hotel of Spanish. As a Brit using the hotel for business, it was ok. But was not allowed to check in until 3pm. Had arrived in Spain from a start of 2.30am.

Bigger issue, not one Iron or ironing board in the hotel! So for a business meeting I looked like I had lived in clothes for a year!

Staff very friendly and efficient. Not so happy sharing pool and restaurant with 60 plus school pupils. Noise when eating was horrendous. Unlucky time to have visited this hotel. Check beforehand. Food good standard and variation.

This area in Valencia is where locals go to vacation. The property was pretty empty, so the services were limited. The hotel is a little outdated. It’s a beach community so I can understand it being a little bit more rundown. Just seemed like a lower scaled hotel comparison to other hotels we’ve been staying at.
I thought the hotel was right on the water, it is not. Also, you have to pay a euro for a beach towel. I asked if they had anything for us to rent to take to the beach and they did not. So you have to bring your own beach chairs, Beach, toys, umbrellas, coolers whatever you’re taking. One day it rained and asked if they had umbrellas for us to use, and they said no. Like I said, our previous hotels offer all of these amenities. Wasn't impressed at all.

Staff was great and very helpful. My daughter has some allergies and the staff really tried to help.
The staff made you feel welcome, and they were always smiling.

The only downside was that i told the reservation team that my daughter had allergie but apparently the message was not passed on to the staff.

Anyway, I will recommend the place.

Very rude staff.
Cleanness is 2 out of 5 as the bed sheets and shower facility were no where close to 4 star rating.
Only 2 floors of the hotel is open.

Hotel is in a nice beach town and was good break from Valencia. Its a bit of a haul from Valencia but very local community. We went during off season so hard to find places to eat except in town. Surprisingly restaurants were more pricey than in Valencia.

The hotel was well located next to the beach and also close to a plaza that has good food options othere than what the hotel has. The pool was great and they had a pool bar with good drink offers but not a full bar. The hotel could use some exterior renovations and some upgrades but other than that out stay was enjoyable.

- The breakfast quality was not that great. Additionally, they offer the same thing every day so after the second day it became not very appealing

- The room was big and nice, ideal for couples and family
Free parking is available on the road. Hotel underground parking is too expensive 11 euro per night

The room had a strong smoking odor. Eventually we were assigned a new room, but the A/C was broken. Luckily, the hotel handyman was able to fix it. The pillowcases had a weird odor as well, and we had to air them out. The internet was so slow, it was practically useless

The Hotel was fantastic really helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was better in the cafeteria.ie.Bar. All in All well priced and would recommend a stay. For family's 5 minutes to the beach with plenty of play areas and fantastic Blue Flag beach. Really enjoyed my stay. Super Markets very close to great prices. Plus petrol station close to as well. Main shops about 15 mins drive near Sagunto plus cinema complex.Recomend to everyone.

Hotel is good, clean

Hotel is 2 minute walk to a great sandy beach and you can walk into the water quite a nice distance. The hotel pool is great, has a staffed bar, great breakfast selection. The hotel is clean and modern, good size room with balcony, free safe in room. The actual town of Canet has nothing to offer as well as the immediate area is basically all low rise condos.

Family room can not accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids, sofa bed is very small and 2 kids can´t fit in.
Flyers in elevators saying what You can´t do there or what You can drink or bring into Your room should be removed or at least graphic can be improved.

Nice beach location. And just that. Not many local

Overall the hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and in good condition. Hotel was very close to the beach and a supermarket.

The area however wasn't very tourist friendly, closest transport links were in the next town of Sangut (€10 each way in a taxi). I would suggest the hotel run a shuttle service to the town to make for a more convenient stay.

Only reason I wouldn't recommend is because I would recommend a place closer to the actual city of Valencia.After spending a whole day there it was definitely a highlight.

Pretty nice but very loud

Room faced the pool, which we thought was great...at first. Turns out it is incredibly loud and you hear everything all night and all morning long. Our air conditioning also didn't work so it was insanely stuffy. Opening the balcony door meant more noise.

We stayed at this hotel after a few days exploring the city of Valencia and found the relaxing atmosphere just near to the sea wonderfull. Staff were very polite, breakfast good but short of fruit. Not much going on in Canet as it was February but Sagunto had plenty of good eating to offer in the evening. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Canet is a good location for driving inland to explore the National Park areas, easy access along dual carriageway roads.

Pleasant surprise overnight on our way to Barcelon

The quality of the hotel was excellent. We wish we could have stayed longer. The room and bathroom were both large, clean and comfortable. The location had beautiful sand beach within walking distance. The pool was also nice. It was more of a resort.

Nice hotel.

Nice hotel all rooms are large with balconys and pool is great plus the beack is two minutes walk awaywith load of off street parking.
Breakfast is good but the evening meal which we had a couple of times not so its perfectly acceptable but not a delight on the lips we also at the Hotel Chispa nearby it was pricey but really good food but there is not a lot of choice of restaurants even less so off season.

the hotel room was very good and the staff on reception were helpful. The Breakfast staff were also helpful too. i know it was early on in the season, march, but the one member of staff waiting on in the cafe part of the hotel for the evening meal at 8 30 (the resturant was shut) was the most unfriendliness and miserable person at the hotel? his attitude was awful, unfriendly and not a happy person?? he would not smile or interact?? but the food was good

We chose the AGH Canet hotel because of a previous experience several years ago. The decision to stay again was not a disappointment. We stayed for two nights in mid-October and had a relaxing stay in a spacious, well-equipped facility with good-sized and modern rooms. The breakfast buffet is also amazing with huge a selection of foods! The location is close to Valencia (an easy 25-minute car or train ride) and located within a block of the beach. The town of Canet is also about 5-minutes to the very quaint village of Sagunto (Sagunt). Sagunto is situated at the base of a mountain ridge on top of which there is an immense ancient fortress which covers many centuries of occupiers and inhabitants. The fortress in currently undergoing renovations but can still be explored. This little town is worthy of a few hours of time to explore - not to mention that you can have a pitcher of some of the best homemade sangria at Casa Eugenio (Eugene's House), a small cafe just off the town plaza.

Excellent hotel within walking distance of a lovely beach are the plus sides, on the down side very little English spoken and very little in way of decent eating places nearby. Would definatly need a car if you wanted to explore but if you wanted to get away from the hussle and bussle then this is ideal.

Wir hatten in der Wintersaison ein grosszügiges Zimmer mit 3 Betten. Leider war das Zimmer sonst auf 2 Personen vorbereitet (Handtücher, Decken, keine zusätzliche Kissen). Klopapier wurde nicht nachgelegt. Wir mussten viel erfragen an der Rezeption. Daher Abzüge bzgl des Services. Ungewöhnlich fand ich dass ein 4 Sterne Hotel Plastikbecher im Zimmer anbietet und sonst keine weiteren Annehmlichkeiten wie Wasser oder Wasserkocher. Das Frühstück war in der Wintersaison eingeschränkt und das Besteck war teilweise sehr verbogen und die Platzdeckchen zerfranst. 4 Sterne? Man merkt, dass es ein Hotel ist bei dem wenig Personal sich um viele Gäste kümmert.
Gefehlt hat ein adequater ganztägiger Zugang zu Trinkwasser. In den Städten an den Küsten stehen überall kostenlose Wasserspender aber ein Hotel verweist auf den nächstgelegenen Supermarkt.
Und leider haben wir im Foyer eine Kakerlake gefunden. Der Mitarbeiter war irritiert und meinte, dass ja eigentlich noch keine Jahreszeit dafür sei.
Ansonsten fand ich die Umgebung passend für Familien. Sagunto als auch Valencia haben fast an jeder Ecke einen hervorragenden Spielplatz.
Wir waren im Bioparc, Oceanogragic und in der Stadt. Alles zu empfehlen. Die Stadt hat viel Charme und wir konnten eigentlich immer kostenlos parken.

It was quite an experience.
When arriving the entry (rotation) door was out of order so the side entrance has to be used.
Check in worked fine and a very helpful receptionist di a very good job, but then we went to the room:
- The phone did not work so to get the WiFi access I had to go down to the reception again.
- There was no water for the bath tub, so Shower it was even there was a very nice bath tub, disappointing.
There was no sanitary paper in the room
- The TV in the room was the smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel, it was the number after my labtop.

Definitively not worth the cost of the room

La jefa de recepción no quiso darme la factura de mi noche de alojamiento me dijo que como la reserva la realize por hoteles.com que son ellos los que están obligados a entregarme dicha factura ya que el hotel le hace la factura a hoteles.com que son ellos los que pagan la habitación ya que yo le pago a la plataforma nunca me ha pasado ese caso pero viendo el problema que he tenido con dicha factura para poder justificar los gasto me pensaré mejor en seguir reservado por la plataforma de hoteles.com y sobre todo esa cadena de hoteles no volveré a reserva nunca más porque para ser una cuatro estrellas deja mucho que desear

Fatal se supone que es un 4 estrellas solo miren las fotos y juzguen por vd mismos y no pude hablar con la direccion unos sinberguemzas dotmi en una cama de 90 y ki de matrimonio como se pidio en fin desagradable a no poder mas maña atencio por ello y por hotels . Com que tampoco como ahencia supieron solucionarme nada de nada pero pagado esta eso si , de verguenza , gracias

Hotel bien situado, cerca de la playa y del paseo marítimo, la habitación amplia y limpia, el restaurante buffet sin mucha variedad pero cocinada con gusto, estaba todo muy rico, la única pega que podría poner es que la almohada para mi gusto muy baja, y el colchón un poco incómodo, pero por lo demás, es tranquilo, con actividades para niños y mayores tanto en la piscina como en otras áreas del hotel, para resumir un buen hotel, limpio, agradable y buen servicio en general, aunque se note que tiene sus añitos, y lo mismo necesite unos pequeños arreglos

El hotel se siente antiguo y sin renovar. En nuestra estancia se averió la caja fuerte y no había nadie de mantenimiento. Solo había una persona atendiendo.

Entendemos que es temporada baja pero no es la mejor solución.

Lo mejor es la amabilidad del personal, tanto de limpieza como de recepción. Habitaciones para dos personas muy amplias y cuarto de baño cómodo. La situación es muy buena y las zonas del jardín muy agradables para el verano.
Lo peor es que es el único hotel de esta categoría en el pueblo y se permite no ofrecer un servicio 4 estrellas. Para las camas de matrimonio tuvimos que pedir un edredón porque sólo tenían la sábana puesta y una colcha de verano. Sólo había dos mantas individuales en el armario, que además pesaban muchísimo, y nos acabaron dando dos edredones individuales, no tenían dobles ,uno de los cuales lo tuvimos que subir nosotros mismos. Esta vez no he cogido desayuno porque la experiencia anterior, también en temporada baja, no fue buena. La sensación, y que el check in es a las 4pm, es que les falta personal. Lo que si es cuatro estrellas son los precios de los servicios extras. Gracias de nuevo al personal por su amabilidad.

He estado unos dias en Navidad y mi experiencia ha sido horrible.Al hotel le sobran estrellas para el precio que tiene.Las habitaciones viejisimas.Cuando llegamos las camas sin preparar,sin colchas.Ibamos 2 niños y dos adultos.Te hacen de pagar una cama supletoria al ser 2 niños, que les dije que se la llevaran ya que los 2 niños no cabian en la cama,y aparte que no cabe ni en la habitación.Con el sofá cama es suficiente. No entiendo porqué hacen de pagar una cama supletoria, cuando 2 niños caben en el sofá cama.
Luego fuimos a pedir la pista de padel y nos dicen que 10€ la hora.Desde cuando en un hotel después de pagar la pasta q se paga ahí se cobren por utilizar las instalaciones. Muy fuerte.
Y el precio de la plaza de garage desorbitado 18€ dia.Yo he sido cliente años de ese hotel y el cambio de dirección ha incrementado los precios muchísimo, no mira por el cliente,todo lo contrario.
Un hotel muy caro para los servicios que da.Y la animacion en el verano fué pesima .No se metece 4 estrellas,empezando por la comida.No lo aconsejo.

Es cómodo, buenas instalaciones y ubicación cerca de la playa.
Lo que no me gustó, es que las máquinas del gym no las limpian, están llenas de salpicaduras de sudor y que la piscina no esté abierta todo el año.
Hay personas que nos gusta bañarnos todo el año en ella.

Pas trop cher mais ne vaut pas un 4 étoiles

Ne doit son 4 étoiles uniquement au fait que l'hôtel a des infrastructures et pas pour la qualité du service. Pour nous c'est un 3 étoiles.
La piscine est grande et congelée vaut mieux aller à la plage. La salle de sport : rien pour nettoyer après utilisation et pas de serviettes à disposition.
Le petit déjeuner est le même tous les jours et on voit bien que c'est pas des aliments frais. Le personnel retire au fur et mesure les aliments dès 9h45. En cinq nuits sur place je n'ai vu du miel que deux fois par exemple, c'est décevant. Par contre le parking a 15 euros est donc trop cher et on nous a désactivé les cartes au bout de deux nuits.
Petit conseil : nettoyer vos salles de bain au vinaigre blanc ou acide citrique car tout est incrusté de calcaire et refaire le logo devant l'hôtel qui est en mauvais état.
Seules les femmes de ménage font du bon boulot.

La primera vez que vamos, hotel muy familiar, muy tranquilo, buena piscina, tenían bastante animación para los niños, buen ambiente.

Tema comida, estaba buena, pero para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas echamos en falta un poco más de variedad. Había momentos que iban tan saturados que no tenias ningún plato limpio para coger jejejejej.

La atención de las señoritas de recepción fue de dos personas limón. La limpieza en la habitación deficiente, había olor a sudor en las sábanas. Polvo en general y el teléfono sucio. Enviaron a una persona para que limpiace y simplemente se limitó a limpiar todo con la misma bayeta y por el mismo lado de la misma. Se dañó una lámpara, la cambiaron pero toda la noche dió destellos de luz, por lo tanto no nos permitió dormir.

Accommodatie was goed kamer was goed perfecte ligging wat betreft strand. Eten was helaas erg slecht koud en niet gaar, ook al was je als eerste binnen, drank zit niet in begrepen bij half pension wat heel raar is maar deze moet je achteraf nog apart betalen.

Das Hotel liegt schön nah am Strand und bietet gute Parkmöglichkeiten.
Die Essensauswahl ist klein aber man findet was. Man darf keine hohen Ansprüche haben, ist halt ein typischer Urlaubsbunker.
Sehr auf rein spanische Urlauber ausgelegt.
Personal könnte freundlicher sein, gerade abends beim Essen.
Wir hatten leider Schimmel um die Klimaanlage herum, sodass wir sie nicht nutzen konnten.
Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen.
Positiv ist die Zimmer- und Bettgröße.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt reicht es, aber mehr als zwei Tage könnte ich dort nicht übernachten.

Ideales Kinderhotel

Sehr freundliches Personal, leider nur 2sprachig, spanisch und eventuell englisch. Es wäre schön wenn auch Tagesausflüge organisiert würden, da es diesbezüglich überhaupt nichts gibt.
Für uns als Paar war die erste Woche sehr anstrengend, da dies das reinste Kinderhotel ist, von Kinderanimation im Pool bis in die Nacht um 24 Uhr mit Kinderveranstaltungen gemacht wurden.
Ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Für Ruhe suchende Paare leider nicht so.
Aber großen Dank an das Personal ob Zimmer, Küche oder Kellner das fanden wir top.

Mi recepcionista amable, pero su compañera con más experiencia muy borde. Las vistas al mar las intuías dislocandote el cuello por un lado. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba casi en mi habitacion aunque en la otra si. El bufet: cantidad en vez de calidad (parecía surtido de menú infantil). Puertas abiertas a la calle que se colaba cualquiera y permitia que los menores se escaparan. Hotel cascado de playa a 260 la noche en agosto.

Excelente hotel en todo.

Personal de recepción, habitaciones y camareros, muy atentos y agradables. Habitación muy amplia y cómoda, pero con desperfectos en paredes, mobiliario, luces fundidas y azulejos en baño rotos, pero sin ser algo grave.
La comida excelente, muchas variedad y con productos de muy buena calidad y muy bien cocinado.
El único pero es el horario de piscina, cierra a las hora de comer y por la tarde a las 20:30, por lo que apenas se puede disfrutar si vas a la playa.
En general excelente y muy recomendable. Sin duda volveríamos a repetir.

Habitación de buen tamaño, aunque no limpiaban muy bien. había un grillo en el falso techo de la habitación que nos daba las noches. la bañera con óxido, un poco asqueroso. Las almohadas horribles, imposible dormir bien. A la hora del buffet, siempre faltaban cucharillas, hasta las ponían de plástico, poco ecológico. Había cola para entrar al buffet, habiendo mesas libres que no les daba tiempo a limpiar, eso es porque falta personal, porque los pobres no paraban (esto no es una crítica al personal sino a la dirección del hotel). Sin animación para los niños, ni para los adultos, las noches se hacían muy aburridas. En esta época, que se cobra como temporada alta deberían tener las mismas actividades que en Julio. por poner algo positivo, la comida está bastante bien. Hay variedad de pescado y carne, y la plancha para los que somos intolerantes, que nos viene muy bien.
