The room itself was totally fine, however, there are 2 flights of stairs up to the room, and at the entry way to the stairs the staff from the cafe that is next door (the place you get a voucher for the breakfast) take all their smoke breaks. We walked through this area 5 times in total and every time there was no less than two people standing or sitting in the area smoking.
Lastly at the time of booking I asked if there was a secure place to store the luggage when we check out until later in the day so that we could do our Pompeii visit. I was told yes however once there it transpires that actually the luggage is left in the hallway that could be accessed by literally anyone as it is not a manned area. Whilst the host did tell me that they have never have a problem I didn't feel comfortable leaving all my luggage in this area. So at 11 pm I was scrambling to locate a secure location within walking distance.

Lovely stay, spacious rooms and great location. Wished I knew it’s on the 3rd floor (US) and no elevator (did I miss that in the description?). Needed 30 minutes after lugging 6 suitcases up 4 stairs. Other than that, Giovanna was great and very helpful and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Room needs some serious TLC, from peeling paint to floor boards pulling up, to a very stale smell. The refrigerator did not work in the room, when reaching out to the owners about it they suggested one solution then ghosted us. The wifi was mediocre and the room was cramped for four people, the couch bed didn’t even have a bottom sheet that fit it. The room we were in was also very noisy as it faced the Main Street, from dogs barking to smashing bottles as the recycling/garbage was collected around 3:30am by the city on the street. You are right next to one of the Pompeii entrances, but not the one guided tours start at, that’s about a 22 minute walk away. If you had to stay for one night, it’s fine…but anything longer, find somewhere else as a base camp.

Good location to Amphitheater gate of Pompeii Archaeological Park. Seniors be warned, as other reviewers have said, there is no elevator. You must carry your luggage up 3-flights of marble stairs because the rooms are 2 stories above the street level businesses. Spent 5-nights in Room 202. Spacious with large open closet & bathroom. However bathrooms never have enough towel bars & they want you to reuse them. The shower is slippery with no grab bars.
But a nice stay in spite of some issues!

Location and room are great however it is not convenient if you have big luggages since we had to carry them 2 stories up. There is no person to assist to carry them up on site. They assisted to store the luggages when we went to pompeii park. We communicated through messages.

Really great spacious rooms. Responsive and helpful staff. Walls are thin so you hear your neighbours and parking dogs very well. Coffee shop below was awesome. There are a lot of stairs to get up to your room. By affordable Europe standards this was a great find!

I booked the wrong date for this property (off by one day) and immediately recognized the error. I attempted to contact the property and they did not answer my calls or respond to my email. I asked Expedia to assist and the hotel told them no change and no refund. Given this attitude towards potential guests I do not recommend staying here.

Place very well located and close to main attractions. The place is cool and well decorated.
Just consider as part of your trip to carry your luggage to 2nd floor, for us was super heavy as this was part of 20 days trip.

Casa Pacifico is a lovely B&B in the heart of Pompeii, easy walk to the train station and the Pompeii ruins, there are many excellent restaurants and bars nearby but it is a very quiet apartment. Enrico is very helpful and check in was super easy and the apartment is cleaned to a high standard regularly. Breakfast is downstairs in De Vivo which has excellent coffee and pastries, I would recommend Casa Pacifico if you want to have a great base for a tour of the Pompeii ruins and you have a great view of Vesuvius from the room terrace.

This property is in a great location for food, Basilica, historic area of Pompeii. The room were nicely appointed and comfortable. The patio was a nice bonus for sitting outside. Only minor thing is the breakfast voucher was only good for a coffee and a pastry.

All in all the room was really nice. Very clean and comfortable, and really conveniently located just a few mins walk from one of the entrances to the pompei ruins. However the 4 flights of stairs to get up to the top floor where all of their rooms are was a lot with luggage in tow, and the parking lot was an amusement park that didnt take cards. It was a nice place to park all in all, but having to walk almost a mile to find the nearest atm was a bit rough. I just wish we had been informed parking was cash only as i wouldve then came prepared, but unluckily, we had just ran out of cash right before arriving. The room itself though was very nice, clean, and comfortable and served its purpose extremely well.

This was the perfect property to stay in Pompeii. The views off our balcony were stunning of Mt. Vesuvius and overlooked the back fence into the archeological site. There is also a small little amusement park in site.
The owners were easy to connect with and super helpful when we needed advice.
The back entrance of Pompeii is less than a 5 min walk and you can purchase entrance tickets right there.
The Cafe downstairs where breakfast vouchers were included, was amazing with such a great selection.
Just down the street is the Pompeii Cathedral that is so beautiful and a nice square full of dining and shops.
We arrived late at night on a Sunday evening so the entrance was a little tricky to find in the dark but is directly next to the cafe in the small little alley and there is quite a flight of stairs so if mobility is an issue, I wouldn’t recommend.
The room itself was perfect and would highly recommend this location.

We really enjoyed the great location. The view on the Vesuvio is just amazing!!! The terrace is an extra after a tiring visiting day.

We loved the location and the view from our balcony. The bed was comfy and the room very decorated very well. The one and only complaint that we have is that we never had any hot water. Hot water is a much needed thing, especially when you're out exploring all day. Talked to the property manager and she told me to wait a few minutes so it could charge. Our thoughts that they don't have a big enough water heater. Everything else was absolutely wonderful!

There was no hot water, freezing showers for 2 days. Proprietor’s response was that it was the city’s fault and there were 2 people requested but 3 in the room. ( my daughter came with us).
We should have left when we discovered the lack of hot water, but we were dead tired.
Room is old and needs some work. Spiderwebs all around the bathroom mirror. Parking is a nightmare as the street is all ripped up. Parking costs 2 euros per hour/ 48 per day. The view of vesuvio was nice. Breakfast was good, but the place was packed on Sunday.

Casa Pacifico was perfect for the amount of time we stayed in Pompeii. Our room was modern, clean, spacious, with a great bathroom/shower. The Towel warmer was a huge plus (we used it to dry socks and shirts we handwashed. Wouldn't leave unattended.). Owner gave great directions and was communicative. Breakfast voucher allowed us to have delicious fresh pastries and coffee every morning at the cafe downstairs. You do need to haul your luggage up a few flights of stairs, so plan accordingly. Great view of Mt. Vesuvius from the balcony on the property. Also, within a 5 min walk to back entrance of Pompeii Ruins. (We used this back entrance, and ticket vending machine and recommend it. Tour guides will try to tell you it's not an entrance to sell you a tour. The main entrance is a 23 minute walk!).

Logistics:
No UBER or \"hail\" taxi service. You need to have an app that solicits private cars or taxis. Plan ahead if you make reservations at restaurants far away, sometimes they offer pickup/drop off (some free, some for a fee, but you need to tell them way in advance.) Tour companies will call a taxi for you, but it's really expensive and they take forever to get there (30 minutes).

We didn't have the opportunity to hike the volcano, but when we come back, we will be staying at Casa Pacifico. Thank you!

Great location and brilliant hosts. Fantastic communication and the owners were only a message away. We were able to do a self check in and check out. The accomodation was perfect. Very modern and super clean and in a fantastic location. The breakfast pastries from de vivo were delicious! With space to eat them outside the room with a view of Vesuvius. Only negative is the amount of steps you need to climb after a day of sightseeing, but this can't be helped and definitely wouldn't put me off staying again.

The stairs are the biggest problem with this property. Would only recommend to fit over 70's. Its location however is its great attribute. The redevelopment work which is outside their control also detracts as does the associated street noise from \"early\" in the morning.

Breakfast at the patisserie downstairs is excellent.location for the ruins at Pompeii is superb only a 2 minute walk. Reasonable choice of restaurants close by. Ideal location for a short stay. Be aware there are 2 flights of steep stairs to the b and b, not for the price leery or infirm.
Room comfortable although we had to keep the water running for several minutes before it became Warmie’s. Be aware that if you have noisy guests , shouting and screaming at each other, as we did, you can hear every word. The neighbouring guests clearly exceeded the capabilities of the sound insulation in the walls.

Great stay!

Amazing stay - very memorable. Especially the view of Mt Vesuvius and breakfast at De Vivo Cafe is great. Walk up two flight of stairs with luggage is a little inconvenient - but good for light travelers. Parking is super easy but gets quite chaotic when the theme-park / arcade gets busy in the evening / weekends. Good restaurants around.

The property is located in a very good spot. It's walkable from virtually all areas of the city. It's in good shape but they have a big problem with ants for some reason. We found ants in one of our beds. Although the issue wasn't resolved, the hosts were very responsive and accommodated us. The other issue is there's no elevator so be prepared to walk up & down alot. All in all, it's a nice place.

Nicely redesigned and comfortable room; checkin was virtual which worked for us. What was less welcome was no hot water and two flights of stairs with no lift. Very close to an entrance to Pompeii Scava but about 20 min walk from the main entrance, which ended up not being worth it for us.

Well situated apartment with ample parking at a charge of 20 euro a night. The room was clean, but areas needed some attention due to wear and tear.
The breakfast was at the bakery downstairs and was the highlight of our stay.

Casa Pacifico was an amazing location to stay at. I wish we could have stayed longer. We are a family of 4 and arrived late in the evening. They provided us everything we needed prior to arrival. They even set up the spare couch/bed so we wouldn't have to. The location is a 5 minute walk to Pompeii which made it very convenient. The view of Mount Vesuvius is breathtaking. There were several locations to grab a bite to eat and they gave us breakfast tickets for the little cafe/chocolate shop downstairs. I would highly recommend this location.

This is an excellent option for travelling without a car. This property is a short walk from the Pompeii main train station and right around the corner from the metro station. The Pompeii ruins are a 15 minute walk away and there are lots of dining and shopping right next to the property. One of the highlights is the breakfast credit to the pastry shop De Vivo right downstairs. The room was a good size and there is a nice common area to relax outside. Our air conditioner was a little loud, but actually turned out to be positive as it covered all the noise outside. I would stay here again if we returned and would recommend it to anyone.

Filippo and Enrico are great hosts! They communicated very well. This room exceeded my expectations! The entrance to the Pompei ruins was a block away. We walked here from the train station (it’s a hike). But didn’t have to worry about parking. They recommend great restaurants! But, there are plenty of small gelato shops close by!
No elevator. 3 flights of stairs. We got used to it!

Great location. Very clean and spacious room with an awesome view of Mt. Vesuvius as a backdrop. Each room is equipped with a small safe, a mini fridge and a kettle. Our family spent New Year's Day weekend there. We were even gifted a bottle of wine on new years eve. Hosts are very responsive with any questions or requests. We will definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Pompeii.

Good location for Pompeii ruins and good transport links to Sorrento, Naples and Rome. The hotel was clean and staff easily contactable by social media. There is a lovely view of Vesuvius along the corridor leading to the receprion area.
Our room had lots of storage. However, some maintainence is needed. Our window shutters would not stay open (and were in need of some repair) so we had to sit in a dark room, since it was autumn and got dark at 6pm this was not too bad, in summer would not be good. Our patio area was just a section of the main reception patio and so not private. Breakfast is a drink and pastry from the shop below, probably cheaper to buy yourself as 2 out of the 3 mornings there were no seats so we just had the pastry as a takeaway and got tea in our room. Would we go again, no we would book elsewhere and would probably stay in Sorrento and get the train to Pompeii for 5 euros.

This property is very beautifuly updated. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was beautiful and very large. The staff on the property were so friendly and helpful with any of our needs. We did not have a car and this is within walking distance from the train station and walking distance to the entrance of the Pompeii sites. Our only regret was that we only stayed one night. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, Convenient, The Place to Stay in Pompei

Casa Pacifico is a beautiful B&B located right in the heart of Pompei with almost doorstep access to the back entrance of the archaeological park. The space was ample, very clean, and easy to find. Would only not recommend for those with mobility issues as there is no lift and its' on the second floor - but otherwise an amazing place and would book again in a heartbeat!

The property is located within minutes of the alternate entry to Pompei. The room 203, was in a corner position with two large windows. Outside there was a small courtyard. The room had a full shower and a bathtub.

We had breakfast vouchers provided to us and ate in the patisserie downstairs - De Vivo, which was unbelievably good.

The host - Filipo was very quick to reply to any questions we had.

The only issue for us as we get older is that there are four flights of stairs to get to the rooms. There is no lift, so we had to carry our luggage up and down ourselves.

This property was amazing! It's within a 5 min walk to the Pompeii Arch. Park. It gives you great access to all the local dining areas and shopping district.
The host did a wonderful job decorating the room and the marble style walk in shower felt luxurious!
We enjoyed the perk of having a free breakfast at the local pastry shop below the hotel and it was a pleasant experience each time. Quick check in and such a great stay!

Flexible and prompt communications from host. Walking distance to train station and Pompeii ruins. Close to many restaurants. Breakfast at cafe downstairs included in accommodation was amazing. Generous local people helped us get to airport on time. Recommend this place and Pompeii more generally

Wonderful property. The entrance is not very visible. I had a hard time finding the alleyway that leads into the building. Very centrally located convenient walks to everywhere.

This property is a perfect location for being in Pompeii. It has many benefits to stay there if you want to be centrally located. If you have bulky luggage the three flights of stairs may not be ideal for you. The location of the entrances a bit concealed between the bakery and the travel office. There should be a more prominent sign, showing the correct entryway.

Large, clean space. Some of the flooring has seen better days, but other than that, the unit is quite lovely. Great communication with host. Had a little challenge finding the spot initially, as we arrived after dark and the signage for Casa Pacifico is behind a large plant. Checkin was easy. Very active community on the night we arrived, which was amazing.

Loved the room, excellent location. It is less than a 5 minute walk to one of the less crowded entrances to the Pompeii ruins.
We used it as home base for exploring Pompeii, Ercolano and Sorrento. It is a close drive to Naples Airport.

The property was very nice with the following exceptions. A) there isn’t an on-site manager which made checking in confusing/challenging, B) we had room 204 which had a bad smell in the bathroom. C) The air conditioner in the bedroom was undersized so wasn’t able to adequately cool the room, and D) the apartments are on the 4th floor so if you have heavy or a lot of luggage expect to carry them up 4 flights of stairs.
