Stayed one night. Short walk to restaurants. Clean and comfortable. Would have been nice to have the window open but noisy on the street side. Also, need curtains that block the street lights. They sit too far off the window which allows bright light in. Otherwise good apartment with more amenities than we needed for one night. Staff were friendly. Would stay there again when visiting Maitland.

Facilities were good- room lovely and bed comfortable which is greaf.

Service however is dreadful and for this reason I would be hesitant to recommend. I booked through Wotif and there was some confusion about the fact that I had paid a deposit. Rather than try to sort it out they put all responsibility on me and told me they would cancel my booking if I didn't pay in full - according to thr staff this instruction came from upper management. This was despite me providing a receipt for my payment!

A short walk to High St, the Quest was clean and comfortable, reception staff helpful. The rooms were a bit noisy (ours was road facing but there was also noise from connecting rooms). Parking is complimentary albeit some spaces a little tight to get into if you have a 4wd.

I was disappointed with having to pay an extra $20 because we checked in at 12pm instead of 2pm. That was a straight-out price gouge. The sofa bed was unbearable to sleep on, so uncomfortable. In hindsight we should have put the mattress on the floor instead.

Loved the large size of the room and the cleanliness. The outside noise was minimal. The only fault was the furniture. The couch was old and saggy. The chairs had very little padding and the bed was a bit low to the floor and a bit too soft. Overall a pleasant stay.

Great apartment accommodation

We booked a loft 1 bedroom apartment because we wanted to avoid upstairs neighbours as we live in an apartment and wanted a break. The apartment was overlooking a side street and was beautifully quiet. The kitchen was fantastic and we cooked several meals with no issue. TVs in lounge and bedroom although bedroom tv was a little old with no HDMI. Fantastic location as it’s close-ish to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley (but without the extra price tag) Only complaint was the housekeepers came in to the room twice on the day we were checking out (before check out time) as they assumed for some reason we were gone so we felt like we were being hurried out (I assume it’s mostly business people who leave early). Would definitely stay again.
