Loved the pool and hot tub. Grounds are beautiful with Adirondack chairs and fire pits on the beach overlooking the lake and mountains. Lovely deck area with outdoor bar, chairs and fire pits. Wonderful meals at the Lakeside Grille and nice lunch at the bar and grill which is located next the deck and pool.

The resort is beautiful. The rooms were pretty clean. We always clean upon arrival and most places were pretty much dust and dirty free. The Lakeside Grille and Lobby Café, both had pretty good food and great service but Signatures Bar & Grill put a major damper on our Mother's Day getaway and we will definitely not return.

We waited about 15 minutes before anyone bothered to take our order. The kicker is the server Chloe found time to serve every table around us but acted as if we were not there. We were about to get up and leave when finally another server who had just came out on the floor asked us if anyone had been over to us. When we said no, she went and got Michael, by this time we had been seated going on a half hour. He asked if he could get us some drinks, we told him we already knew what we wanted and were ready to place our orders. Then waited about another 30-35 minutes until our food came out. Cold and on stale bread. We both asked for drinks with no ice, received ice in both drinks. I asked for Swiss cheese on my sandwich and boardwalk fries, no cheese and then he said these were boardwalk fries (see Pic). The service was subpar and the food wasn't much better. My order was wrong and cold. One server clearly refused to serve us, but served literally every table around us. The other couldn't be bothered to even try to get our order right. If you go Rocky Gap, I definitely do not recommend Signatures Bar & Grill.

This place gets worse every year. We try holding on to what was once special but this is going to be our final visit. The golf course has taken the back seat to the casino and the casino is poorly done / managed. The place has become a trap for retirement and social security cash grab.

Yes as we stayed we went in the bathroom to take a shower as I was sitting there trying to take my clothes off and stuff I'm looks down by the sink and there were two bugs I took them and show them to the person she said they been having problems with carpet bugs which I never understand what it's carpet bug I spent my money man my husband and I feel like that's wrong that we need to get our money back for this trip because what if they're in our clothes that we brought home and then we can't get rid of and I have babies in my house so I'm going to stand by this this is crazy but if people have bugs in their place and knew they had them and don't do nothing about them but now if we bought them home I will have the biggest issue I went through Expedia to make sure everything was good but it wasn't thank you very much

The pool and hot tub felt great on a cold day. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was too cold to be outside but the view was beautiful and the hiking path would be wonderful in the summer.
There were some good restaurants nearby. The food at the hotel were large portions for our breakfast meal.
Gym: The equipment was in good shape and clean.

Our experience was a hard 5 out if 10. The gentleman that checked us in was nice/fun, and a few of the ladies in the restaurant below the lobby were nice, bartender in the casino was also very nice. The manager of the same restaurant and the younger front desk guy need to get the cob webs out. Making us walk all the way into the middle of the casino in our bathing suits to get the exact same coffee for free was ridiculous... particularly since our room code maker was not working.

It was end of March (off season), so other than the above, everything else was ok. Property and rooms could use a little maintenance.

We had been to the hotel multiple times prior to the casino, but this was our first time back since the casino opened. We hoped the casino would be less visible for overnight guests, however, the Casino, lights, and feel are directly across from the check-in desk and can not be avoided. It was not terrible, but the charm of the property is not the same despite the continued beauty of the area. We will not be going back in the future.

Every year my husband sends me to a nice hotel with a spa for my birthday. It’s a great chance to relax and get some rest as we have two young kids and I am TIRED. This was my first time staying at Rocky Gap and I was drawn there as I’d heard wonderful things about the in room dining and spa. My goal was to read some good books, order room service, spend some time in the outdoor areas, and get a pedicure.

Upon arriving, I attempted to call the Lakeside Grill to order room service but was unable to reach anyone. Ultimately, I learned that room service was discontinued a few months ago which was disappointing. However, the restaurant was beautiful and the food and service were good.

I received a phone call on Saturday morning indicating that the nail technician “did not show” and my 11:00 pedicure was re-scheduled for the following day, Sunday at 10:00. I was offered late check out which was a nice accommodation. However, I received a phone call Sunday morning indicating again that the nail tech did not show and so the pedicure had to be cancelled. There was no type of comp offered and the spa was one of the main attractions for me.

Additionally, my room was never cleaned or serviced despite my being there for three days. I had hoped to come back to a turned down bed, fresh towels, and replacement coffee for the morning but that never happened. I did not have an objection to going down to the lobby to order coffee but because of the casino that line was typically quite long.

Love the pool area, but wish it would be better monitored. There was another family in there on our 2nd night who had clothes all over the place. Most all around the hot tub on the floor thrown down. They were teenagers with their parents. They had towels laid around the hot tub. The parents didn’t make them clean up their mess, and allowing them to splash water out of the hot tub. Making the towels soaked around the hot tub. Looked like the hot tub was dirty too. There was stuff floating in the hot tub, like dead skin..Yeah I skipped that night. There was a worker who walked in there but didn’t say a word to them about the mess. Other then that our stay was great! Just no relaxing in the hot tub on the 2nd night.

Pool looked nice, gym had enough equipment, restaurants had a good variety prices were decent for a casino.
Casino is on the smaller side, payout is also tight mainly due to the location and lack of support, but fun.

Paid a difference in cost for a kink room with a Mountain View, no king beds available when we checked in and view was of the water and mountain side but there was a roof outside our window with mechanical equipment in direct sight. Don’t pay the upgrade fee.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is very clean. I will say the food is something to be desired. The bar had pretty decent food,do not get the crab cake sand. It was not worth the money. The lakside restaurant which is where you would get breakfast was not good. We did not eat there for dinner. The pool was clean and well kept. Casino was fun. We felt very safe there. All in all it was a great place to stay. The rooms do not have microwaves but do have refrigerators.

Staff was nice, room clean and plenty of space, water pressure in shower was amazing. Casino has great variety of slots and tables. Both restaurants were good, we did Signatures for lunch and Lakeside for dinner. Only complaints were the heat/ac unit didn’t not work in our room, they sent up maintenance but it still never got cool even on ac mode with the windows open and it being 10 degrees outside. Also everytime someone else opened and closed their door ours would bang - with or without the window open. They need to provide a door stop or put felt around the door jam, being hot and not able to sleep with the noise kinda put a damper on the great parts of our visit.

From Check In to Check Out this is the best winter break vacay! This is the second year in a row we stayed at the Resort for our Mother Daughter weekend.

Room- We stayed on the first floor near the Spa. Perfect location for us. Our mother has walking issues, it was to be so close to everything. The room was very clean. 3 adults fit comfortably in the room.

Spa- We have used the Spa for 2 years and had Pedis, Manis, and facials. The staff is very pleasant and great at what they do. Well worth the price and time!

Food- - We eat most meals in Signatures Bar and Grill. No complaints on the food and drinks. The wings are amazing. On our last morning, we get breakfast at Lakeside Grille. The view is fantastic. The food is always good. The Sports Lounge is fun to watch whatever is on the screen or listen to the live entertainment. Lobby Cafe is there and the desserts are a fun way to end our night.

Entertainment - - Friday and Saturday there were people singing. This year there was a comedian at Bonkerz's Comedy Club(lower level of resort) on Thursday and that was fun. We did order tickets ahead of time. Very reasonably priced for an hour and half show.

Casino- Very clean and organized. All interaction with waitstaff was great.

We went into Cumberland MD for shopping. Old town vibes. Great restaurants. Friendly people. Had amazing homemade ice ream. Drove through Christmas light displays.

Hagerstown MD is about an hour away with Outlet shipping.
