My sister and I wanted to getaway for a couple of days and chose Ellicotville. We scheduled it a few days before the July 4 holiday. Some of the stores were only open for the weekend and had limited hours but we still had a nice stay. We don’t golf but enjoyed the property and the pool. Clean and well maintained and the flowers both at the inn and downtown were very pretty! Breakfast was adequate and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Cute town and nice people - relaxing vibe and we would go again. Check out the butcher shop for house bottled vinegars and oils. The Gin Mill had acoustic guitar player - nice touch.

The room was clean, and the property is beautiful. If you’re not going for skiing, the only great thing about this place is the pool & hot tub. The beds were so uncomfortable. The tv barely worked - the remote was not functional, we couldn’t switch channels easily, and the channel we wanted to watch had a very poor signal. The shower was terrible. The water came out of the head with such force that we couldn’t stand directly under it. The tub drained very slowly. The shower curtain was so thin that there was a ton of water on the floor when we got out.

The place was really good! The staff was pretty friendly, and it was awesome to see a chairlift right outside to get to the resort. Breakfast was alright, it was edible and yknow its free so you cant complain. The hot tub outside was great! It's a bit small but since we went over a weekday it wasn't busy. The rooms itself were clean and worked well as just a room to shower and sleep in.
Only complaints I can say is the keycards to the room stopped working for some reason, thankfully we realized after someone was already inside the room so we weren't locked out, but the staff quickly issued us new ones after we brought it up to them. Another one is that the TV is so damn tiny and bad, its some 720p TV from like 2013. Like it's the year 2026, I don't expect anything great but a good TV goes a long way in a hotel room.
Other than that not much more I can say, the inn overall was good enough to stay in if all you're doing all day everyday is skiing/snowboarding like we were. We only stayed in the room when we were done for the day and going to bed. I will book the inn again when we come back next year!

We had a nice overnight stay at this property. Room was very clean! Bathroom was clean but maybe needs an update and toilet needs to be replaced as it kept running on and off. Staff was cordial at check in and out but didn’t give us much information about the lodge, we had to ask a lot of questions; ie when is breakfast, restaurant hours for dinner etc.

Pool area was enjoyable for relaxing after dinner. A dinner recommendation from front desk staff was delightful (Pour Taphouse). We came with the intent to enjoy the hot tub before and after dinner. We were told however that the hot tub was down but could use the hot tub at Tamarack which is a drive vs a walk. It was disappointing to not be able to use the amenity we came for. Also my request was a room in the garden and we got a room facing a hill with absolutely no flowers/garden.
