There are tripping hazards all around the property. The concrete is buckling around the facility. The property is very old and outdated, still uses keys to get into the rooms. There are people living at the hotel. Beware of Dog at the front corner room. Dog feces on the sidewalk on my walk to the office. Not going back.

I reserved two rooms and you confirmed them. When I got to the hotel they only had one room and no other availability. They showed me what you sent them and it only showed one room. So, I don't know who made the mistake. Luckily we found another hotel, but it was 20 miles further from the race track and we had to adjust our schedule make it work.

Pros:
-Location close to food & shopping
-Comfortable beds
-Price
-Did not see any signs of bugs/rodents

Cons:
-Old actual key lock froze
-Cold room, very drafty
-Minimal blankets, pillows, towels, etc...

Ok no frills. I'd stay again.

Overall a fair place to stay for a couple days. The room was clean and comfortable with all the basics needed including small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Furnishings basic. Take $10 off the price I would rate it higher. Still, a relative good deal. It isn't fancy by any means. Safe and sound, clean and comfy for me.

Classic, cozy, comfortable

This motel is tucked away well off the road and is a smaller, older motel that is cozy & comfortable. My room had a comfortable bed, fridge & microwave good wifi, and I was able to park right at my room's door. The bathroom had been tastefully renovated, combining classic and modern elements. The motel was located close to the downtown area but was set back in a location that was quiet and convenient. Nice place; I'd stay here again.

We had absolutely no problems with our stay. The room was a little dated but aside from that the beds were comfortable the showers were hot and the air was cold. Can't ask for much more. It's located in a plaza with a great Mexican restaurant and close to couple good places to eat. We are in the area quite a bit for work and after talking to our crew we will be back.

Just a bit lacking

The hotel is a bit dated, but that could be part of its charm. I really am not that picky.....but the room lacked a thorough cleaning. The table had what appeared to be soda on it. My coffee pot still had remnants of coffee in the pot, both upon arrival and after the room was cleaned for my second day. Staff was pleasant enough. There was no ice maker. The price was good. In general it appeared to me that the hotel met minimum requirements but no one really took pride in what could be a charming little place in historic Galion.

Disgusting

If youre thinking about staying here....dont.First thing we noticed when pulling up to our room is that the post holding up the porch area had apparently been hit by a vehicle and all they did was wrap caution tape around it!! It is clearly unsafe. Then once inside it had a very musty smell. The wall by one of the beds looked as if someone had been spitting on it and it wasn't cleaned! The dresser still has the tape on it so the drawers wouldn't fall out from when it was moved. The mattress is so horribly old and collapsed ive never seen anything like it! Disgusting is the best way to describe this horrible hotel that should be condemned. We got stuck paying just under $70 for this dump!!
