Room was clean but rest of hotel needs help. Elevator was out of order, waffle maker was out of order.

I found the Wingate Mansfield fine. It wasn’t comfortable, but it wasn’t uncomfortable on the plus side. The staff is very friendly. The property is clean. It looks nice. Our room was quiet. We got a good night sleep. The bathroom great and a good size. We had a bath stool in the bathroom that was literally the best seat in the room. The only seat for me to put on socks & shoes and wait for my roommate to finish getting ready since I didn’t want to climb up on the tall beds or roll over his bed to get to a chair.
The negatives it just wasn’t comfortable. The beds are REALLY firm and huge high, so much so that you can’t comfortably sit on them. There were two chairs in the room, but the one comfortable chair with ottoman is trapped back in the corner behind the giant bed, so if someone is sitting at the desk (at the foot of bed2), there’s no access to the chair without hopping up to crawling over somebody else’s bed. Also, the desk chair is not on wheels, so it’s not easily movable. It was an ok room. It would be better for solo guests. If we had stayed longer I may have tried to rearrange furniture to make it work better. The breakfast was also just ok. Quality was fine, I missed having some kind of fresh fruit (apples or oranges).

The room was clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The grounds could use a little TLC. The only negative was the toilet paper. It was the texture and thickness of the tissue paper used inside gift boxes. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Hotel was clean & staff friendly. Breakfast had minimal to offer compared to other other hotels with continental included. Bummer for my kids that the pool was closed. Didn't book super far in advance so I'm sure it was closed at the time of booking. Very disappointing that isn't listed somehow to avoid sad children.

Clean good smelling room. Staff was nice. Bed was comfortable. Quiet at night. Shower was not as powerful as I like and took a bit to heat up but stayed warm. Pool was empty, not sure if that was a listed amenity because I was not interested in a hotel with one when booking.

The staff was great especially Tiffany. She made so my accommodations were good. Her personality and attending guests needs spoke volumes, from getting towels to asking if there was anything else that she could do to make sure my stay was good. Thank you again.

Nice room with additional amenities. Beds, comforter, sheets, pillows and towels were clean and fresh. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The room itself was clean and in great shape. However, the bathroom needed a better cleaning. The back of bathroom door and handle was dirty. Shower floor, shower doors, shower track and behind the toilet should have been cleaned. The breakfast was very limited and food was fine. Hotel front desk staff were fantastic! The property was well maintained. Parking was ample. Great location close to highway, gas station, tons of restaurants. I would recommend and will stay again.

Beds were super soft and tall, dont sleep on the edges cause you'll end up rolling off. The breakfast was disappointing. Came down 30 mins before it ended. The lady who was in charge wouldn't make more eggs. The tater tots were all squished. She was outside smoking. On the patio throwing her cigarette butts on the ground. Other staff members came down at the end of breakfast to take what was left..but there wasn't much left.

Checked put on 3rd floor. Load all stuff on cart looked for elevator front desk asked what i needed she said its not working. Had to carry every thing up to that floor. Get in room bed room completely nast water on floor all dirty towels laying on the diningroom table bed look like someone just got down doing the nasty.
Went back down stairs took 20mins to get new room husband went check bed big yellow stain on sheet. So we slept in chair and couch if i would of went back down i would lost my mind on them. 230am alarms sirens going off like crazy. 2nd night half powerage worker ensured us heat was working after just working 15hrs freezing cold second night of sleeping in my coat.
3rd night wash clothes put in dryer the front desk said the doors messed up we asked for them to dry in the big dryer nope couldn't so i have wet clothes in a bag sitting in my car till i get off tonight and drive home 3hrs away. The GENERAL MANAGER is absolutely rude needs fired act like she didnt care at all would only refund few dollars and thats only because my first room was supposed to be the executive room i have reported to company and BBB and contacting a lawyer

Room and amenities. Room heater rattled. Deadbolt on door did not work, pillows were a joke, way to fat all eight of them, no extra blanket for warmth.

No functioning pool, no bathtub in room, not advertised though. .Sparse breakfast items.
When talked with staff at checkout she just said well, you should have told us so we could move you.

We picked this hotel because it was pet friendly and we were in town for our daughter’s wedding. Staff called us every time our puppy barked. It ruined the wedding for us. The worst part was we couldn’t sleep the night before because of the noise a visiting football team staying at hotel was creating, but our dogs were too noisy. The staff threatened to call the dog warden if we did not leave the wedding and come back.

Recently renovated and conveniently located.
Check in was perfect. A friendly, attentive professional. Room is spacious with good layout and amenities. Shower water pressure and temperature settings is mediocre. When the contractors replaced the parking lot lights with LED ones, they did not aim the new lights down to the ground. It shone right into the rooms. With both blinds drawn, could easily read at night. I could not sleep. Breakfast was meager and unappealing. Juice dispenser was out of order.

Staff was nice but didn't have much to work with! TV remotes don't even have a guide button--they are a total joke so bring a book. Breakfast tots would have been fun but they were basically raw--maybe 1 in 10 was slightly browned on one side--both days. Design choices in room are bad/non-functional: The desk is 30 5/8\" high instead of the 29\" norm. But the chair was really a lounge chair and only 15 3/4\" high instead of the 18\" norm. I was able to squish a sofa cushion in it to try to feel like a grown up person while I worked instead of a little kid who can't quite reach the keyboard. The parking lot light are so crazy bright that even with the \"blackout\" shade it looks like 8am all night long. Gnats. Don't get me going about my warning to my colleagues that if I randomly swat the screen during the call please forgive me...

Convenience and comfort

Lobed the location of the hotel, next to a highway and a 24/7 Taco Bell. A bunch of other reataurants and businesses around as well. Room was clean spacious, and the bed, bedding, and pillows were excellent. It was quiet, zero complaints. Breakfast needed some tlc to get 5 stars. It offered a hot breakfast of eggs, sausage links and tater tots, which was appreciated. Because the pancake machine was broken/unusable, and toasters spring was broken. There was cereal and yogurt also. The juice they have is horrible/undrinkable, not sure what is the problem there. Coffee was ok. Property claimed to be repairing the stairs that go to the 2nd floor, so its all roped off and all guests must use the small elevator. But again, the comfort and convient location was more of a priority than all the breakfast issues.

Won't be disappointed!

Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Probably one of my better experiences in OH. Cost efficient. Manager was intuitive and made you feel welcomed. Part of the hotel was under construction and didnt get in the way of moving about, also no loud noises to wake you up or keep you up! Only issue was the comfort of the room, felt muggy and sticky even with the a/c on. Other than that I'd definitely stay again!!

The Customer Service at this hotel and probably one of the busiest weekends Inkcarnation, was above and beyond the two girls working all weekend were kind and very helpful when needed. Decent for the price. Nothing special

Room was fine. Recently renovated but the hotel has been getting renovated for well over a year now which is odd. Pool was unavailable due to renovations. Room was not the cleanest by any means and although we were there for three days our room was never cleaned during our stay. Shower didn’t get very warm. We stayed last year and our room had just been renovated so it was brand new and very nice, this year the room was noticeably worn and dirty. Price is great for a suite compared to other hotels in the area, which is why we chose it while we were in town the past two years but we probably won’t return here after this year.

Like: the staff were friendly and very helpful to me. I wanted to do laundry but the soap in the machine was empty and two of the staff hunted down some soap for me to use. Also I had a project I had to do and the desk clerk let me use a meeting room with a long table. It was a lifesaver for me.
Did not like: we didn’t have hot water, only lukewarm water no matter when we took showers. They didn’t know why. Also the place was being remodeled and was noisy, dirty, and right in front of the elevator. Breakfast was just okay.

Amazing stay.

This place in Mansfield Ohio is a gem! The front deck people are very friendly in helping you check in down to where the places are to dine! The king suite we were in was beautiful. Big, clean, and comfortable, from the couch in the sitting room to our huge bed. One of the nicest places we've stayed in on our travels across the states. As Canadians, id like to thank our brothers and sisters south of the border for a great time. We'll be coming back next season and for more than one night..

Don’t stay in room 105!

Service was excellent but we had horrible room assignment. Don’t stay in 105! Next to mechanical room with loud noises. After an hour we realized no way we’d get any sleep in that room so we had to switch rooms. And it is a known issue as that room apparently gets lots of complaints. Not sure why we were put in that room when the hotel wasn’t very full. Front desk lady super nice and got us a better room but I hated having to pack back up to switch rooms.
