The building is being renovated but the room, bathrooms and breakfast area where very clean. All the staff was very friendly and ready to help even if you come up with strage questions. Items in the breakfast where replaced soon. Quite frankly compared to other hotels in the price bracket they where perfect for my family.

The main door to the suite didn't latch properly for the time we were there, We were not happy about that told the staff .
The staff was fantastic , helpful kind .
The toilet need to be fixed properly was not bolted down.
But once asked the maintenance worker he did the best he could.
Staff was super helpful.

So I honestly did not enjoy my stay . The room had no working plugs and the fridge ran for 2 hrs at a time and then 8 hrs off so all our stuff went bad. Also the tv would not go on had to call front desk and manually turn it on . Then at night tv would not go off so light of tv filled the room all night long. Lastly I fell in the lobby tripped on a table leg that stuck out . No one offered to give me any info or take an accident report. Nothing not are you okay etc .. I hurt my knee pretty bad. Just not what I am used to with the name Marriott associated with it.

Ok hotel, friendly staff, just outdated

Not the cleanest/newest hotel. It was ok, but TV didnt work, front desk told me you had to play with the power button under the TV, and I could turn it on, but wouldnt play anything, just a bright blank screen. Tried calling the front desk and no answer.

Just an outdated hotel.

They are in the middle of remodeling so it’s very loud during the day. The ice machine isn’t accessible due to construction and the front desk doesn’t have access to ice AND their little store didn’t have any water. The pool is closed for construction. Non of this was conveyed to us prior to check-in.
The room was nice and clean.

VERY OLD & DATED

I was so disappointed with how outdated this hotel was, especially for a Marriot. When we arrived we were told the pool was broke and being repaired. One of the reasons we booked there was so the kids could swim.
The room was gross. Sheets were stained and had grass at the feet part of one of them. The curtains were torn and stained. Literally torn and shredded. We only had 2 towels for a family of 4. Other than that the room was okay, just very dated. Super disappointed and we spent $200 for a night.

When I checked in, the room had an issue with the leaking \"P\" trap on the bathroom sink. Needless to say that first night was interesting using the sink. I reported it the following morning and the front desk person said, \"I've had a service order on that for a few days, and they shouldn't have rented that room to you.\" I was gone for the remainder of the day and the leak was fixed. Everything was satisfactory from that point on.

Dirty sheets

We checked into our room and everything looked nice and presentable. Once we pull the covers back on the bed there was what looked to be blood splattered all over the sheets. We called the front desk and the night manager came in to change the bedding. He was disgusted by the sheets and apologized for it. This was a first for us and hopefully a last.

When I booked the reservation it was very confusing as I was actually looking for lodging in Mansfield OHIO not Mansfield ON !!!! Please consider crediting me for the Canadian booking. We live in Rochester NY and was traveling toward Louisville KY. Mansfield Ohio was our destination for late check in on Friday 10/6…. Not Ontario Canada!!!! I have a screen shot that proves the website showed the address as OHIO but the hotel is Ontario! I would be happy to send that to you -please give me an email and a person to direct this to -thank you so much, Patricia Doerr

Review of Fairfield Inn & Suites in Mansfield

The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Mansfield/ Ontario Ohio is a very clean, comfortable, and ecstatically pleasing. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Overall, I just thought the price at $200 was rather high for the Mansfield area. The only criticism of the room is the bathroom light is very dim.

The facility is fine. I received an email the day before checking in to ask me to pre-register. I was informed that all I had to do was stop by the front desk for my door key. I was also told that I would receive a text message when my room was ready for me.

When I arrived I had to go through the same normal procedures - show ID, present credit card, etc. No text telling me that my room was ready. Once I got to my room I received a text message ten minutes later telling me my room was ready.

When I went to get some ice I found out that the only ice machine in the building was on the first floor - I was on the third.
