I've stayed in some low grade motels before but this one took the biscuit.
It was absolutely disgusting I have a video of the bed full of bugs. I didn't notice them when I lay down for a nap and when I woke up they were crawling all over me. I showered in a filthy bathroom and slept the rest of the night in my car. The carpet was thread bare and shiny with dirt, i couldn't take my shoes off at all. There was an old red fabric arm chair in the room that was black and shiney with dirt. I would recommend you don't even think about booking a room here. It was the worst motel experience I have ever had.

Terrible even for the price.

It was a terrible experience. There was no toilet paper no blankets and bug’s galore. Cockroaches and bed bugs. I will not be staying there again! Paid $90 for a night with taxes and everything and couldn’t get any type of help. Check in room at least 10 mins for someone to be at the service desk. Then when I went to the room I went to lobby for toiletries. But no assistance. And contact numbers were not working.

Mansfield Inn takes money but doesnt open

No one was at the hotel for the band that i paid for to check in....i paid for 2 rooms for an event i hosted for my business and had to last minute find other rooms because no one would answer the phone or was at the lobby at check them in. All light were off off. I now need to figure out how to get my money back.

Got to the property before 11pm check-in time and no one was to be found and door locked(says 24 hour service btw)..note on door said to call a number for late check-ins but no answer after calling a dozen times. Had to scramble over 2 hours to find a vacant hotel 35 mins away at 1am(weekend of Inkcarceration music fest)..the property had no lighting in lot and seemed very sketchy anyway. So we ended up staying further away and paying over twice as much at the next hotel, but worth it after seeing this place in person. This place is a dump and needs to be shut down. Not sure how Expedia even puts this terrible place on their website..smh.

Property had no one at the front desk and refused to answer the phone at the posted numbers. When I did finally get to someone I was rudely told that the property had totally booked out every room, and would not honor any online reservations because they were going through renovations and the online system was down. They then refused to offer any sort of refund when Expedia staff finally got hold of them. Expedia then turned around and told me that I was out of luck and could not get a refund because the property refused to offer one.

Do NOT book with this hotel! Actually, go find a different site to book with as well because apparently Expedia cars as much about their customers as this property does, ie. Not at all.

I bookmarked my hotel 4 months ago and even received a confirmation on our booking a few days prior to arrival. We arrived at the hotel to find it run-down and beginnings to crumble. As we attempted to check-in, we were informed they were overbooked and needed to contact hotels.com to address. After several unproductive phone calls, AND an additional charge on my card, we were informed there were no more hotel rooms anywhere close. At this point, we were now exceptionally late for our events, in the hole for more money and had no hotel room. We booked an experience that was now ruined. This was a colossal waste of time, and has tainted my experience and will prevent my future use with hotels.com.

My husband was unable to check in to the property and was told they had contacted Expedia to process a refund. He was told that they had no internet service and that the fire marshall had shut them down because there was no water pressure. The area was extremely dangerous looking and I can't believe Expedia would even have this on their reservation site. We will be contacting you immediately to see if this refund has been processed. You need to visit this location if you are going to continue to offer this to customers.

Health department should shut it down

I reserved a non smoking room and was given a room that reaked of smoke, when I declined that room I was shown to one that stunk of rot that looked like murder room from a horror movie with carpet so stained that I wouldn’t step in with my shoes on. When I declined that I was taken to another room that was less disgusting tha the first two. Because I prepaid for the room my wife and I decided to stay and spend as little time in the room as possible.

I actually refused to stay there once I saw it in person. It was very run down and dirty, with roaches. Staff was rude and just walked away. 5 other family members had the same issue. Worst motel experience I've ever had. I would not recommend Mansfield Inn to anyone.

This place is HORRIBLE! We tried to check in for a local festival and there was NO ONE available. We knocked on \"Private\" rooms and finally found someone who told us there were NO rooms available at all, even though we booked months in advanced and paid in advance. Expedia was NO HELP in helping us find another location.

When I got to the Mansfield Inn I expected to be able to check in and get some shut eye. There was little to no indication of where the office was located and when I made my way there I found no employees working. Called the phone number and it rang and rang. Called a separate number I found listed on the door only to be told I didn’t have a reservation and that if I called again I would be reported for harassment. I then tried calling the main line - no answer. Also no phone ringing in the office/lobby. I started to walk around the property thinking maybe I was in the wrong place, only to find a couple of disheveled residents of the property. They told me to “find Dave”. So knowing full well I was in the beginnings of a slasher film I just left the property. Heard horror stories from others all weekend of the same experience. Do not under any circumstances book here.

I chose this property for it’s location that is what I liked. That is all I liked about this hole in the wall!

As soon as I walked into this nonsmoking facility I was met with the smell of cigarettes and mold.
The staff (owners) treated me like a trespasser when I walked in at 3:15pm
After giving my name of the reservation a conversation between the two of them in a foreign language broke out that lasted over 5 minutes until I asked if there was a problem
They informed me that the king size room I had booked was not available, that I was being down graded to 2 twin beds.
They gave me a key to a room with instructions of it’s location and instructed me to inspect the room to see if it was acceptable
The room had the same foul odor as the lobby
Thefts had sheets, only sheets, no blankets, no pillows.
The curtains were falling off the rod
The bathroom had no mirror
I went back to the office and informed them of the condition.
This is when I was told that was the only room available in this 200 room facility with 5 cars in the parking lot
That the cleaning lady called in that day and I would need to wait for an unknown amount of time for her to show and provide me with pillows and blankets. I stated I should not to pay full price for a room other than what I reserved online, nor due to its condition.
At this point they rudely asked me if I wanted the room or not.
I declined and left.
DO NOT GO HERE!

The staff was ambivalent - didn't care at all about honoring my reservation - couldn't even be bothered to explain - were completely absent from the front office (I had to call them) and people in the area subsequently confirmed they're an absolute blight on the community. I absolutely don't mind a dingy, cheap motel (that's why I booked it) but after traveling hours and then being told to go away because they don't care about the fact that they accepted my reservation - it's insolent and crass and ridiculous. I've stayed in many a dive but, not only would I recommend people not stay here - I'd go out of my way to warn them. These people don't deserve to own a dingy motel.

I reserved a room and when I got there it took 20 minutes to find anyone who worked there… They they gave us our key to a room that already had people in it… Then they gave us a different key to a different room… Same problem again there was people already in the room… The 3rd room they tried to put us in was empty but not cleaned… So we left and found another hotel and still have not received my money back from here.. They said it was gonna be refunded within 7 days.. Of course it never was … Place is terrible… Find somewhere else … Trust me.

What a nightmare. got there at 4 pm, waited in the office for about 20 minutes & no one ever showed up. I was already late for my event so I figured I would check in afterwards. Later that night went back to check in, along with 3 friends that had another room reserved. It took us a while to even get someone to come to the office, with toddler in tow, apparently she lives in one of the rooms, & we were told there were no rooms available. We told the woman we had reservations, she kept telling us it didn't matter. She looked up the reservations & we weren't on the list, even after we told her we booked through Expedia. Finally she got on the phone with what I assume is the owner, & then she magically found our reservations. About an hour had passed at this point. We just wanted to get checked in and get to sleep because we had to drive to Warren the next morning. Finally got the rooms paid for, got the keys, went to the rooms & open the door, you could see cockroaches and bed bugs crawling everywhere. It was absolutely disgusting, dead things, dirty, bugs. There was no way I was going to sleep in that room. Friends agreed, both rooms just as bad. On top of that, right next door there were people moving an apartment full of stuff out of their room, smashing things, etc. We proceeded to go back and knock on the woman's door & told her we wanted a refund, she refused. Another 45 minute hassle. Finally got refund, drove 1 1/2 hrs to Warren, now 3am, got extra night at econolodge.

WOULD RATHER SLEEP IN MY TRUCK

First of all I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to get there so that I could check in we walked around for 20 minutes trying to find a clean room he then took me back to the lobby where he proceeded to look for another 20 minutes came back and showed me a room where the closest place to park was probably 300 ft from the room. I get to the room and can immediately tell there's going to be issues because there's no smoking sign on the door but there's ashtrays and cigarette butt Burns in the bedding I took a 10 minute nap and woke up with 7 roaches on my chest this place is not worth your money there are cheaper and way better options the county puts their DUI people in here on the weekends so they get all the money from the county that they need they do not care

Got into my room and it smelled musty and old, the floors weren’t vacuumed or swept and there was broken glass in the bathroom on the floor. The air unit was missing the entire front cover too. I went Cheap and got cheap.

this was the worst hotel ever there was literally a fitted sheet with valor on top of it and it had holes burnin it bigger than a pop can and multiple tiny holes burnt in it when you first walk in the door there was a big stain looks like a blood stain on the floor and the broken TV sitting on the stand needless to say I did not stay. and he didn't want to return my money but that's okay because I did not want to stay and environment like that it was a swimming pool when you look out the window for my room it had no water in it with a bunch of trash in it and vehicles pulled right up to the fence beside of it

When made reservation told them needed first floor with little walking due to mobility disability. Was told by the person I talked with it was taken care of. When we got there we were told the only way to get to the room was to walk across a very large uneven field. You could not drive close to an entry. We had to forfeit what we had paid or the reservation and find another motel.

PERFECT if you need a story to tell your friends

This motel easily gets a 5/5 simply because I’ve been trying to write a stand-up routine for a while now and the wealth of material this place gives me is incredible. I walked to my room to find the door wide open. No, not because it was being cleaned, but because I walked into the bathroom and immediately walked into a spider web. There were no towels nor soap provided, nor was there a space on the carpet that didn’t have a stain. There is an OPEN pool next to the room with no water in it but instead weeds as tall as a 10 year old. There was a mysterious chunk of the wall missing, but not to worry! I found it in the dresser drawer.

I had a very good stay. Be a little careful in navigating in. There is a restaurant that you easily spot. The office is on the back side of the restaurant. You need to turn into the restaurant and follow the road on the highway side of the restaurant. I overshot and wound up on the limited access highway!

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed at. It was dirty and run down. Come back on the second day and had old towels on my floor and had to argue with the front desk that i needed new towel. Floors where all stained. An outlet was fall out of the wall. Found old food in our room molded from someone else. I would steer clear of this place for sure.

Don’t do it! Wouldn’t stay even if free!

We booked this last minute as many hotels were already sold out. Even though the price was cheap, I wouldn’t step foot anywhere on the property. Stay clear.... I took pictures but not as many as I should have. We only stayed in the room long enough to call other hotels until we found one with a room. Dust was so thick you could write your name in it. Holes in the bedspread.. we didn’t look under so who knows what that looked like. The keyless entry on the door had been busted, but it worked. Trying to close the door inside was a challenge and then the lock didn’t work. Hairs and nastiness on the toilet, holes in the doors, just gross. So gross we handed our key back and said no way.

Has a great Bar Restuarant on the property.
The parking lot needs to be read asphalted major holes in it and near the hotel rooms. Lobby for check in looks like someones basement. Gives a future representation of what you room is going to be like.

I asked if i could have clean towels when i first checked in because what they had in the room looked used and the guy who checked me in said that they were clean, just stained and that was as far as the conversation went. We went and purchased cheap towels cause i didnt trust theirs. Plus, the bathroom didnt look clean at all. But, my husband was afraid that if i complained too much they would kick us out, so i didnt. Its not like i am adking for royal treatment, i would like to know that i am atleast getting a clean room with clean towels.

It was the worst vacation I have ever had. Booked our room 6 months in advance was told one price but was charged double of what was quoted. The room was extremely dirty, trash under the bed. What looked liked blood on the walls and carpet. Tv did not work small refrigerator did not work and had mold in it. Microwave was on the floor and had so much grease on it, I didn't even check it. Went to leave and was locked into the room and couldn't get out. Phone wasn't hooked up and had someone go to office to get help they didnt come had to call police to get help to get out of room. Wanted refund they would not refund my money. Other guests were complaining about bed bugs. I didn't see any in my room but killed several cockroaches. It was so bad!!!!

Upon arrival we checked in, walked in and were greeted by an awful stench in the room. There were large stains on the floor and the one chair in the room, that resembled either blood or vomit. Our door lock was broken. And did not latch or close properly. There was bright red hairs in the bathroom. There was a pool. But it looked as though it has been unused for many years. The only 'amenity' was a very broken coffee maker and one package of coffee hastily thrown by the 1999 tv sitting dust covered in front of a very worn,warped and musty bed.
Luckily there was space at another hotel and we immediately checked out. My partner was gagging at the stench in the room.
Do not stay at this hotel. It is easily the most disgusting room I have ever seen.
