The air conditioner made the room stink which resulted in a muggy room at night. The walk way did have an odor . Inside the room is nice. The staff were nice and friendly . The breakfast should've been better . I settled for the instant oatmeal. They did have nets by the fruit which resulted for me to get the instant oatmeal only.

The building is old and the exterior shows it. However, the room had been updated and was very clean and comfortable. The only complaint was that the air conditioner was also an old unit that was loud and slightly damp/moldy smelling. Breakfast was so-so. It would be good if they added a small fridge with yogurt.

PROS: The staff was very kind and polite and seemed genuinely exited to have us there. We arrived to a clean room that was ready for our stay. The room was on the smaller side and had the expected amenities. The shower (no tub) delivered plenty of hot water. The shower had 4 different delivery settings. The AC worked great. The bed was the perfect combination of furnace and softness. Smart TV. Appears to be an older hotel which has updated rooms. They look lovely. Breakfast was simple but satisfactory.
CONS: No elevator should be noted. The room was not very quiet and and did not blocked outside traffic noise. The outside light did shine in around our curtain all night and in the morning the bathroom light did shine into the room around the bathroom door (which was a sliding barn style door). We were not able to sign into the Smart TV without further instruction from the staff as all the TVs were named the same on the system.
OVERALL: budget friendly and we would stay there again.

Quick checkin... There is no reason that I can see all motels could not check you in this quickly, but they can't.

Common areas (lobby, stairs, ice room) are not very nice. The room, however, was much nicer. Clean and a comfortable mattress.

The shower is awesome! Truly amazing. The floor in my shower, though, was dangerously slippy (especially for an old man...). I put my bath mat on the shower floor and it worked out fine. You will enjoy the shower.

Overall, a good value for the price.

This facility is really a motel format with doors to the outside. Amenities are pretty basic, and the outside stairways could use some attention, but the room itself was very, very clean, which was the most important thing to us. The housekeeping staff here obviously does a great job. The A/C unit worked very well but was a bit noisy. All in all, this place was a very good deal.

I am not sure how this property received and excellent rating. The building was so run down, it was concerning. Had we not been exhausted and the room prepaid, we would have gone elsewhere. The walls are paper thin, you can hear conversations in other rooms. There was someone hooting and hollering, a car alarm went off repeatedly. The room was ok, if you get a room on the second floor, be aware, there is no elevator. We did not try the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. I would not recommend this property.

The room was clean and adequate for what we paid. The staff on registration was a concern. She seemed to struggle getting us checked in. Once to our room, the door wouldn’t open because the inside latch was “caught.” While trying to get it open, we realized there was someone in the room that we were trying to enter. We addressed it with the staff at the desk, who kept saying she couldn’t understand why “they” would have put two of us in that room. The next morning at breakfast, she admitted it was her mistake the whole time. This is a major concern. We glad he was calm and not fearful or angry at our trying to get in.

I booked this hotel several months ago but when I arrived, I wasn’t sure I was at the right place. Hotel parking lot was empty. Hotel looked abandoned. I decided to see if I was at the correct location and I was. I reserved the room with my Discover card only to find out that they don’t accept Discover. I was told to go somewhere else and stay. They didn’t offer any assistance with that other than to tell me that there are other hotels nearby.

Our pleasant stay at Days Inn Bellville, Ohio

Our stay here was very pleasant. The room was comfortable with the two queen size beds. The showers were nice and hot which I love. I came with my two sons and they had fun as well. We stayed for three nights and we will definitely like to stay again. There was a microwave, fridge, and a big flat screen tv for us to enjoy. The complimentary breakfast was also yummy, too. There were a lot of nearby gas stations and places to eat as well, and it was close to the highway. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

Upon arrival, no one was there to great us. We had to dial a number from the front desk phone to have someone come. Turns out it was a manager from the motel 6 that had to sign us in. The room stank of a heavy chlorine smell upon entry to our room. The carpet was slippery feeling when we walked on it. The bathroom floor was slimy and greasy. We used a towel to wipe it the floor and with one wipe the towel was black. Absolutely GROSS. The shower floor looks gross and the sink is slow to drain. Towel bar is broken. Door to the outside isn’t a tight seal. You can literally see the daylight coming through the frame of the door. No one came to replenish our towels or make our bed the next day like we asked them to do. For a place that was just recently renovated within the last two years you wouldn’t know it except for the decor and furniture.
