Staff members were very helpful. We had a two day stay at this property. Breakfast was served at Denny’s restaurant located right in the property itself. The food was great! Parking was free. Conveniently located near to the airport! Easy access to Trans-Canada Highway.

Overall the hotel is great, except for it's location. Access to the hotel has been cut to one entrance due to massive construction on the Transcanada highway, hence traffic can be very challenging to navigate since the hotel is very close to the highway within the on/off ramps. Leaving the hotel to the airport requires a U turn or detour.

Unfortunately we had a TV that didn't work as well as the bathtub plug was detached and wouldn't reconnect to the drain. Pur toliet made a running noise all night, and first thing in the morning I had a silverfish bug run across my foot.

We asked for early check in and were told we could get into the room at 3pm instead of the usual 4pm but when we got to hotel they didn’t have a room ready so we had to wait until 3:50 which was not ideal but they gave us $40 off for the hassle which would have been fine except the room I booked was a king suite with kitchenette, and when we got to our room it was tiny with no kitchenette!! Staff would not discount it anymore so we are extremely disappointed

The staff are kind but the rooms are less than ideal. I have stayed here over the years and the quality declines each year.
We booked the Family King Suite and had four guests registered. The room came stocked with 2 small towels and two hand towels even though 4 guests were registered. I had to call down for face clothes and extra towels so we could each have one. When I called, I was told it would be a 20 minute wait as they were the only person at the desk and their coworker was gone. The room was dark and dingy. The leather office chair was old and the leather peeled off on most of it. The tv had no basic cable or anything - assuming you needed to pay extra for any tv services. The master bedroom had one small light that flickered constantly and two side table lamps. The lamp on my side was wobbly and with a burnt out bulb (or it was broken) on one side and the other side “worked” sometimes if you pulled the little chain super hard. That light also flicked. More like a haunted house ride than a nice hotel room - haha.
We took the kids to the pool around 6. First, our keycard would not open the door so we had to go to the desk in our swimwear to have them fix this. Once inside, there were only three small towels stocked in the pool room. In the 2 hours we were there no staff came to check or replenish them.
This was a higher cost room. $300 for the night. My issues lies here - with the quality you get at this price. Many improvements need to be made.
We booked the Family King Suite and had four guests registered. The room came stocked with 2 small towels and two hand towels even though 4 guests were registered. I had to call down for face clothes and extra towels so we could each have one. When I called, I was told it would be a 20 minute wait as they were the only person at the desk and their coworker was gone. The room was dark and dingy. The leather office chair was old and the leather peeled off on most of it. The tv had no basic cable or anything - assuming you needed to pay extra for any tv services. The master bedroom had one small light that flickered constantly and two side table lamps. The lamp on my side was wobbly and with a burnt out bulb (or it was broken) on one side and the other side “worked” sometimes if you pulled the little chain super hard. That light also flicked. More like a haunted house ride than a nice hotel room - haha.

There was dried vomit on the floor beside the bed. The dark carpet had a white crunchy stain that would be impossible for cleaning staff to miss. The headboard was vinyl wrapped, damaged with scratch marks and peeling. The fridge was so loud when we opened it to turn it off the smell was disgusting and filled the whole room with a rotten smell. Window only opened a couple inches so we couldn’t air the room out. Very disappointing have stayed here in the past and wouldn’t stay again.

Room was excellent, and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The adjacent 24hr Denny’s was really helpful as we arrived really late. Would definitely stay here again if we fly into Abbotsford.

I’ve stayed here dozens of times over the years and I always have to ask for my rewards and the hotel staff are typically surprised and or require further explanation about the rewards program before offering up the $15 food voucher that is promised.
I have contacted customer service and they have indicated that they are working on this issue.
