This review is specific to the room that I was put in. I had just finished an extremely long trail race and was specific with the gal at the front desk that I needed a quiet room. She put me in a room that was directly above the bar in front. The patrons were yelling and screaming outside until two in the morning, but I was in such physical pain that there was no way that I could relocate. Do not ever accept a room that is facing the main street unless you don’t value sleep.

The room was very clean. However this is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel and have had the same experience, it is very loud. You can hear everyone neighbors are saying/watching and everything in the hallways. The bar is loud and the parking lot is loud. Do not recommend.

We enjoyed our stay with the exception of the shower. The room was large and spacious and nicely decorated. The shower had very little water pressure and the water was not very hot. A/C and phone didn't work upon arrival to our room but a nice guy came up from the front desk and got the a/c working and the phone was working the next day. For the price of the room, I did expect a little more but overall we were comfortable.

First, front desk staff is incredible. Attentive and very locally knowledgeable. Second, rooms are great! I am in a king suite and it is much more comfortable and stylish than i ever imagined! Third, restaurant that is next door, and was recommended by hotel, had the best steak i have had in texas in 15 years! All things considered, i could not be more impressed!

The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean and updated as well. The sliding door should be between the outside door and the bathroom as if someone is using the bathroom the other person is trapped in the other side. Also some of the rooms are near the parking lot and you can hear everything outside from the trash pick up to people talking at all hours of the night. Those are my only issues otherwise it was a great stay.

Have screenshots of reservations!

There was a breakdown in communication between Hotels.com and the hotel. I was told to \"straighten out the problem\" with Hotels.com because I used a 3rd party provider. Lucky i had a screen shots of the reservations from Feb 11th! Finally hotel clerk listened to conference call and i got the rooms, unfortunately after check out i was overcharged for the room by $113.! Still trying to get that fixed. But the Facility was Great.

This is the second time we have stayed at BW. We got complementary drinks due to the balcony being closed per city ordinance. Great service the young man at the desk was very helpful. Everything was clean definitely coming back again.

The Best Western Bandera hotel was super cute! It was designed with the \"Cowboy Capital of the World\" atmosphere. The staff were all very hospitable and friendly. We were treated very well. The one down side to our room was that there was no door to the bathroom, and that left it open to the entrance and anyone in the room was trapped inside the room if someone was using the bathroom or trapped outside the room if they were outside. A door on the bathroom would have been helpful. But we would definitely stay here again. A missing door wouldn't keep us from staying again.

Great place the only thing is if your with a girls group the bathroom has no privacy…. The main door from the hall opens to the bathroom…. And The barn door that closes off the room slides open…. So be prepared for no privacy when staying there.

We have stayed at this property several times and we do like it. It could be a little bit cleaner and we were called by the front desk at midnight about a pet deposit. We had already addressed when we checked in. We were there till Monday so I don’t understand, why that young man couldn’t wait till morning to finish whatever business he needed taken care of.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night when travelling Texas. I selected the hotel due to its reviews indicating it was the best in the area and it didn’t disappoint. The hotel was overall very good.

The location of the hotel is bang in the centre of Bandera, which is a small Texan ‘Wild West’ style town. There’s plenty of bars and restaurants to cater for everyone’s needs. Everything is walkable from the hotel itself.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. They were friendly and helpful upon check-in and the breakfast lady was lovely in the morning during breakfast. The staff are a credit to the hotel.

The breakfast exceeded expectations for a free breakfast. There was ample choice and it was good.

The room was large, spacious and clean. The rooms appeared to be done up to a good standard and included all amenities you’d like.

My only negative to the hotel was the air-con machine. It was located so close to the bed, that it had to be switched off as it made you too cold, but then the room got warm, so it was needed, so we had to keep switching it on and off throughout the night.

Overall we had a very good stay and I’d recommend the hotel and happily stay again.

Very Pleased with This Hotel

I was extremely pleased to see the spacious room. We traveled with our two grandchildren and the room size made things much more comfortable for or stay. This hotel is very clean and the staff we encountered were outstanding.
Breakfast was great with something for everyone from yogurt and fruit, to eggs, sausage,and potatoes. Waffles, bagels.
Location was nice to walk to dinner or shopping.

The toilet and bath area is open to the rest of the room with no door between the toilet, sink, shower and foier. The room temp cannot be set below 66 degrees for sleeping, but no matter because the HVAC goes into energy efficient mode at night so the aircondition stops working anyway. The actual room temp never went below 70. The room was too cool to have just the sheet and to warm for the heavy blanket they provide. The room became stuffy and uncomfortable. We also had reservations for a stay three days later but canceled them.

Staff was great. Very good breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Now the bad. Room layout was terrible. Bathroom privacy is a concern. If entering from hallway, you are walking in on someone showing or using the toilet. Also very low water pressure and could not get the room to cool below 72 degrees. The staff said the AC goes into an eco mode when movement is not sensed?
Crazy. Will not stay there again.

We were very impressed with our stay here. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. Staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious. It's PERFECT walking distance from everything we needed which made for a fantastic night. Our only complaint was that we were right above the bar playing loud music. It wasn't really a nuisance, just an observation. The next day happened to be garbage day, and that was a little loud to wake up to. Otherwise, we would ABSOLUTELY recommend staying (and will likely come back again ourselves!)

The only major building in Bandera that’s been built in the last 100 yrs, really. It’s still the scruffy, dusty, authentic small town that it was when I was last here 20 yrs ago.
The hotel has really large rooms, but are a bit stark, and have no carpets on the floor. They haven’t been thought out, as there are spaces where furniture should be.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff were welcoming.
The hotel sits on a very busy, very noisy road. The balconies are at the front but the noise would make it impossible to sit there. The parking is at the back, and why they didn’t build the hotel where the car park is, and put the car park at the front defeats me. It would have helped the noise problem.
There is a hotel bar at one end of the building, and a commercial bar at the other. On one of my two nights the music kept me awake until just before midnight.
Nice enough, but don’t get a room with a balcony, and don’t get a room at the ends of the building because of the two bars

Love this town and love this hotel! Be advised that if you like a balcony room, partiers may be out late at night on weekends so it may be noisier. Not the hotels fault, just be aware when booking! If you want quiet, don’t book a balcony on Main Street! If there is a parade, a balcony would be an amazing place to be, though!

The hotel and staff r nice . Unfortunately there is a bar connected to it. The bar stays open till 2 am and the music is so loud it was vibrating the whole hotel. When we called and asked they said they cud give us earplugs :(. Pretty silly stuff. Would not stay there again.
