Overall our stay was great. The hotel is in a great location not too far from the beach and other activities and restaurants. There's actually a restaurant across the street from the hotel. The room looked nice and newly renovated. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the loud AC unit but the room temperature overall was fine. The hotel representative was friendly and informative about things to do in the area. We were also able to checkin a little earlier than expected which was great. We'll definitely consider staying at this hotel again whenever we return to the area.

The floor of the hotel room was filthy. The weatherstripping around the door was deteriorated. Could hear the TV, talking and activity in the other rooms. A/C unit was extremely loud.

The rooms were dirty,it had bugs ,cockroaches,spiders .there was dirt underneath the beds,the night stands , tv was small,the breakfast had only eggs and cheese no bacon or sausage,the panckake machine made tiny ones and could not be use with the microwave at the same time.the lady nicole was great very helpfull.

Upon checking in the front desk staff was excellent. Everything after that was horrible. Entering the room we immediately noticed that it was poorly maintained. The place was extremely poorly cleaned and upkeep is done as cheap as possible. The property is in desperate need of some serious cleaning and repairs. After the first night we left at 9 AM to go to the beach until after 3pm. We returned and the room hadn’t been cleaned. I mentioned it to the front desk and housekeeping showed up and rushed cleaned the room in less than 10 minutes. We spilled some water on the floor and used a town to clean the water up and the towel looked as if we cleaned the sidewalk with it. You can see the buildup of dirt in the corners. In one of the beds and you could feel the grit and sand on the sheets from prior guest. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nor would I stay here again. It needs to be closed down and rebuilt or some serous renovations and cleaning. This place was a dump and way over priced at over $400 for 3 nights. More like $50-75 per night based on the condition. The AC smelled wet every time it came on. After the first night the housekeeping avoided cleaning the room but on the day of checkout, they were banging on the door at 11:30 ready for us to check out so they can clean the room. Please stay somewhere else. I feel I deserve some money back. I was over charged for this place. RUN FAST!!

Room was very clean, staff was very friendly. I stayed overnight with my dog and it went very well. The TV channels were really good. The last couple hotels I stayed at had crappy TV so that was nice. Only downside was the massive amount of fire ants in the grassy/dog walking area.

A night in Swansboro, NC

All checked in and getting settled in. We turned TV on and it was on a Latino channel (we thought). Switching to other channels and all were speaking in Spanish. Could find no way to switch language to English. Off to the front desk and the lady informed me there was no one available to 'fix' the problem. She switched us to a different room where the TV was speaking English. My thanks to the lady who helped us.
Later as I was preparing to bathe, the shower mechanism was new to me and it took a while before I could figure it out. Maybe that was just me. But I did finally get it to work.
The following morning, my spouse and I decided to try the free breakfast. A fairly good selection was offered, but no eggs. I attempted to get pancakes from a fully automatic pancake making machine. As luck would have it, the display popped up a 'device overheating message'. I went to front desk and the man who investigated advised me that he had to contact the manufacturer and it was necessary for that company to send out a technician. Sorry, no pancakes that morning.
I really understand these kinds of things happened but all in all the motel provided a comfortable nights rest, which is the primary reason we stayed there. So, yes, I probably would stay there again.

This is a hotel with basic set up of bed(s) & bath.
However, this hotel had added features of microwave and mini fridge. The floors were hard surface- no carpet… Loved that! Also offered nice continental type breakfast with variety. Room was basic but clean, same with pool. Staff was friendly and helpful; especially Karrie!! GREAT weekend getaway for me & my husband!!!

The room was dated but clean. I would have given an Excellent but although I received service in the room each day, I never received any additional coffee packs and there was no shampoo in the room. I have never stayed where I had to go buy shampoo when I checked in or where the room was stocked with coffee when needed. I did go to the front desk and ask for coffee but shouldn't have to do that. All and all, I would stay again.

The room was disgusting, filthy. Other guests were loud, filthy emptying trash outside their rooms, predominantly cigarettes, beer cans all over the walk way. There was a bloody Kleenex that was on the desk in the room, that despite mentioning it to staff stayed there. The bathroom smelled like mold constantly. I want a refund. The hotel shouldn’t be on this website if you want people to take it seriously.

Perfect for what we needed, only stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer if needed. Front desk staff was awesome, friendly & helpful, and rooms were clean and comfy. Budget friendly place so not all the amenities available, but we don’t require much and were very pleased with our stay. A decent option if you’re planning on going to the beach, even though it’s not located on Emerald Isle and plenty of food and grocery options very close by.

The floors were tile and when we walked On the getting around the room are feet were black when we got into bed. Be sure to wear your shoes the entire time. I understand the No house cleaning due to COVID, however they did not provide extra trash bags. So staying there for 3 nights with two kids, we had trash over flowing.

I have never given a poor review, however the sheets on the bed had body fluids on them, the floors were filthy, the room refrigerator did not work. New sheets were brought but I had to make my own bed. And to make matters worse, a few days after our stay, a credit card I rarely use to book the room was hacked. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. Horrible. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Inadequate parking. Parking lot was almost completely full and spaces left were too small for a full sized SUV. We requested an accessible room and there were no accessible parking when we arrived. One was taken by the night clerk with no placard or disabled plate! Pretty sure his family lived there. A female was in the front seat sleeping. She eventually came inside. Another guest, one that was outside drinking, kindly offered to move her car to one of the tight spots (since her vehicle was much smaller). It was one in her party taking up the disabled spot and that person did not offer even with our placard displayed.
Our bathroom smelled of urine although the appearance was quite clean. It wreaked. No other rooms were available and it was late, so, we stayed.. OMG... Sprayed our room with air freshener and we had to keep the door closed all night to avoid the smell in the entire room. People drinking and milling about the parking lot; Ice machine on first floor was broken and when I asked where to get ice in the breakfast area in the morning, an employee told me there were none. I asked if there was no ice on the entire property and she confirmed. It was another guest who directed me to the upstairs ice machine which was working. It was filthy up there. I think there are permanent residents?
I will never stay at this location again. We arrived late and called around but it was difficult to find a location nearby that accepted dogs.

We really liked the location. That it allowed pets. We had a handicap pet room. Very clean and large. We would rather have had a king bed but that was not available with handicap and pets. it was great on first floor and parking right outside the door. Plan to stay again and will recommend this property in the future
