Towels are thin, breakfast has only yogurt for protein, Parking is an uncomfortable and confusing distance away. The TV controls and channel access were not intuitive.

Everything was squeaky clean, the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating.

There is a great game/rec room and a study/quiet area that we only found on our way out.

Bedding was clean and comfortable. Our room was quiet and we had three consecutive great nights' sleep.

Really great location with at most a ten-minute walk to Parliament hill. Nando’s just a few paces down Albert Street - love to see it. Very spacious room(s) with lots of natural light and plenty of closet space (and hangers!). Place was very clean and the room temperature was easily adjustable. Free breakfast was quite decent. They have 50 or so lockers on the basement level where you can store your things for free. I had 7 hours between check-out and my flight, so those allowed me to explore the city a bit more without hauling around my luggage. Nearest metro stop is also a very short walk away. Solid price and well worth it considering the size of the room, location, and those lockers.

Room was very clean. There was an air fresher type smell in the lobby we didn't like, but other than that, all staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out. Continental breakfast was Costco type muffins, apples, bananas, yoghurt, bagels, english muffins, coffee, tea, juice.
Shower had full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash.Kitchenette had pots, pans, dishes, apartment size fridge, microwave, small stove and even a small dishwasher. Dish soaps and tea towels provided. A great feature if staying for several nights.
Bed was very comfortable. Very convenient to walk around downtown Ottawa and explore the sights. We'd book here again.

Perfectly located for NAC shows, parliament hill and downtown restaurants, the ARLO is a clean, comfortable place to stay. Breakfast was continental and had a good selection of fruit and pastries.
Our room was very comfortable with a kitchen, coffee maker, etc. The room amenities were really nice and smelled great!
There is no parking here but we parked at the City Hall parkade about a block away, it is very affordable on the weekends.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I picked it instead of the more expensive conference hotel that was on offer. Location was great to get to the Byward market.

Breakfast was appropriate for a grab and go, and the gym facilities were nicely maintained. I liked the luggage storage lockers. Customer service was excellent. In-room kitchen was well stocked with gear to make light meals and snacks.

One downsize was with no offsite parking, they recommended a parking garage around the corner. I didn't mind the walk, but the garage access itself was confusing, isolated and required going through a building that was under construction. I did not feel safe as a solo female.

In our king bed room with balcony the room was extremely clean, well equipped, and comfortable. Balcony is not very welcoming but nice to have access to outdoors for fresh air and a bit of sunshine. Luggage storage before and after the stay was an appreciated service.

Just one night with my wife and two 12 year olds, but the room was very comfortable. Probably the most comfortable pull out couch I have ever slept in. Fantastic location as well. Staff was very helpful and everything was clean and in good condition.

Two somewhat uncomfortable chairs face the TV and the bed faces the kitchenette. Made it terrible for watching tv. It’s Roku so no cable. This means no playoff games during playoff season.

Staff were lovely and helpful.
Breakfast (included) was continental but great variety.

Wonderful location, easy to walk to many sites and restaurants.

Parking at city hall is a good 10 min walk. Be sure to drop your luggage before going to park.

This place was OK as a moderately priced option for a business trip, but I wouldnt be anxious to come back. Staff were very nice. Rooms are fairly large, but then the bathrooms are small, especially the shower/tub, which feels a bit narrow, with the plastic liner blowing into you and sticking to you when you shower. I also found it very strange that there were no eletrical outlets anywhere near the bed. Only options for charging are in kitchen or bathroom, which is inconvenient for a number of reasons. Finally, the breakfast offering was depressing. Hvaing it included in the price of the room doesnt count for much if there is nothing decent to eat.

We had a room with a full kitchen, a king size bed and a balcony. Pro: The room was clean and well furnished. The staff is helpful. The breakfast included is simple, but good. Cons: the room itself is small, but the bathroom and shower are really really small. Making them hard to navigate. The insulation of the door to the balcony is not great. We could ear a lot of the noise from the street below.

Honestly, despicable. Where do I begin…I had the un pleasure of staying three nights. I couldn’t even open my windows as I was face to face with another individual from all angles. My room was not cleaned or items refreshed once. The ‘heating’ blowing out of the wall air conditioning unit was so drying I developed nose bleeds by the second night. The shower was dirty with built up Calus on the shower head. I went to fill up my water bottle one evening at 9pm from the only source of filtered water (in the gym) to find the machine empty. When I approached the gues services the guy told me that he couldn’t fill it for me but that I could come back tomorrow. I needed water so he said I could buy a bottle of water from them. Also, the bed clothes are worse than an hospital, felt like a picnic table napkin….anyway, the location is pretty central. That about sums up the only positive points about the place. The all inclusive breakfast is a overhype. Recommendation: skip!

The gym has basic equipment, good for the purpose. Rooms were very clean with good amenities. You can virtually cook in your room if you choose to. The front desk guys were super friendly. I had a problem with the TV and they quickly changed the room for me. Breakfast was equally good.
My only challenge is there's no telephones in the rooms so I had to always get down to the front desk for assistance and also that there's no onsite parking, even though there are paid parking lots around
On the whole I will rate this facility 9/10. You will not regret staying there

The staff are just wonderful, particularly Wellie, who spent 45 minutes at least getting our tv connected. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the king-sized beds and bedding are really comfortable, and the kitchen is a great bonus for us. I’ve stayed here twice, once alone and once with my kids, and it’s lovely for both. My son and I spent an hour in the basement games room in the morning while my teen slept in, and we played air hockey and foozball and just enjoyed the couches and large space. Lots of good restaurants and the Rideau Centre super nearby for food. We love the Arlo!
