I’ve stayed at HILTONS and various HOLIDAY INNS all were better—sound wise, no second window shades—when open can be seen from outside. Very poor selections for breakfast. Muffins were poor in taste and “gummy” texture. Save money, stay in HAMPTON INN SUITES SWANSBORO just 5-10 minutes down the road. This is expensive for a BUGET hotel.

This is an odd hotel. There is no daily housekeeping (we stayed for 4 nights). I had to request more kcups and TP and they acted like it was an odd request. No toiletries provided in the room. Check-out is at 10am and breakfast is very sad and over at 9:30. The room was clean when we first got there and some of the staff members were very friendly. The pool is beautiful, but no shade in the daytime. We did not get a chance to use it in the evening, but it did look nice when the sun started to go down. However, next time we are in town to visit family, we will choose a chain hotel with more consistent amenities.

The staff at the location were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel itself had quite a few issues. The room felt quite outdated, with the fridge filled with puddles of water. We addressed this with staff who attempted to fix it but alas, the fridge was unusable. My kids did not want to swim in the pool due to an incredible amount of dead bugs in the water. I was very happy that they allowed pets at this property, but the \"pet area\" was full of red ant hills and poorly maintained, not ideal to have to keep walking through. Overall, I don't think I would choose to stay at this property again.

The staff was really nice. I read where the hotel was upgraded but it wasn’t for all floors. The third floor I went to three rooms and they all had a musty smell. The staff sprayed disinfectant and so did I then the odor would return. The carpets are soiled they are so filthy which is where the odor came from. The staff was really helpful and nice but I will not return.

Room was clean. Bed was horrible. Towels were like tissue paper. The TV didn’t work and the hotel staff weren’t able to fix it. In the morning the so called “breakfast” was some wrapped muffins and cereal. No coffee was available. Only one coffee pod in the room. Had to go to the cafe next door for breakfast and coffee. For the price, this was unacceptable

The hotel was clean, but in the room was feeling the mold smell, also they might be a bit more careful with the clients and in my room the sheets were not changed, found a lot of hair from previous ocupant. The staff was nice overall and helpful, they had free quick breakfast, they had the refrigerator and microwave in the room, I loved the shower.

The rooms were clean, but it stank like dirty laundry then realized it was because the fridge was unplugged and sitting in a puddle of water. There was no tv either. When I went down for extra towels or blankets I had to wait for the person at the front to finish her smoke before getting the items--so it took a few minutes.

We came before and this time just for a night. The staff which was one young lady helped us check in and she was friendly and nice. But now that dog fee went up to 50 a night , we cannot go back.

Just some tips for hotel 1) have dog bags near the area where it says pet relief area..2) better tasting coffee at breakfast.
3) Some protein like a hard boiled egg and a banana would be nice. Alot of sugared cereals for breakfast .

Was a very young lady at the desk. She helped checking us in. That was fast. The room was very nice. They updated the bathroom. Very nice. Could use some new furniture. Everyone we came in contact was very helpful and went out of our way to fix anything we asked. That was the TV. They came right away to help. Very nice ladies that came and straightened it out for us. The room was clean and all was good. The breakfast was ok nothing special. Going there to stay the next time. Tks to all staff.

Great stay overall. I chose this hotel because I could bring my dog. Rooms were clean, spacious,bed was super comfortable, the refrigerator in the room wasn’t very cold, but that wasn’t a big deal. Also, it was quiet, which is always a plus! Nice staff. I was slightly disappointed in the breakfast, it was just toast, bagels, yogurt, cereal, and when I went down to eat nothing had been restocked so I had to wait for plates and other food items. Not that big of a deal because we were checking out anyways. There is a Dunkin Donuts next door so you have that option as well. It was walking distance to a couple of bars, and not far from the beach at all. I would definitely stay there again!

Hotel is ideally located 15 minutes to a public parking for beach access. The pool, interior public rooms, and exterior of the building were all clean. Hotel was very quiet as there weren’t many weekday guests. The entry door to the room was so badly hung that you could literally see through the cracks in the door to the hallway. We had to block the light coming through by stuffing towels in the cracks. The bathroom door also had an issue and would not fully close. The carpet powder was not fully vacuumed up and there was white dust everywhere in the room. The continental breakfast was terrible. The cranberry juice was watered down, the coffee weak, and my muffin moldy! I’m glad I noticed before taking a bite. Everything was thrown away and we went out for breakfast.

From Aurumn at the front desk assisting prior to our arrival to Ashley who exchanged our microwave for a working one at 1 AM!! to Riley who serviced our room, the attention to customer service was EXCEPTIONAL. We loved the spacious rooms & the shower was the best shower I've ever experienced in a hotel. My only critique is a lack of protein on the breakfast bar. I'm diabetic & unfortunately there were only high carbohydrate / sugary options available, so we skipped the complementary breakfast. The pool looked fantastic but the weather was not conducive for enjoying this amenity. Overall, this hotel is wonderful!

Top notch, it wasn’t our first choice (because we are loyalty members at a chain nearby) but it definitely will be next time! Convenient location less than 3 miles from Emerald Isle. Easy check in with pleasant staff. Very clean all around, nice outdoor pool, workout room, dining area for the continental breakfast (good coffee btw). We had a good sized room with a jacuzzi, very comfortable mattress and even though our room faced the street, it was so quiet. Absolutely no complaints
