Brandon
Staff was amazing.
Jacques
Elevators were out of order, WiFi and TV didn’t work.
Richard
The king suite was very clean! The only thing I would say would be to leave 4 big towels instead of just 2. Not a huge deal though because the staff is super helpful and very friendly. Will give you anything when asked. They go above and beyond for you! Great job to the staff and whoever is running this hotel in Swansboro 👏👏 Honestly the best hotel stay we have ever had!

The staff were very friendly, they offer free breakfast, and it was very clean and quiet in my hotel room. The only thing I would improve is adding gym wipes and filling the conditioner bottle which was empty my whole stay.
David
Staff was very friendly rooms were clean

As a rewards member, I expected more. While the room was OK, the shower had terrible water pressure, and I had the shower on FULL HOT, and it was Luke-warm. The next day we made the mistake of having the breakfast. We were there around 8:15 am, which is effectively the middle of service.
The selection was poor to begin with, but what was left made it a big miss. The hot food was only warm. The oatmeal was empty and the grits (instant at that) was also gone. When we asked, Lou said, we had 45 Marines here and they wiped it out and we decided not to make more. Really? There was still 90 minutes left AND at 8:15 there was no evidence that they were there, so they must have left a while BEFORE 8:15 AM.
I scrapped together what was left and when I went to get coffee....you guessed it, the coffee was empty.
I doubt I will hear back or get any remedy, but I wanted to let you know what a disappointment this property was.

Good value, excellent amenities, breakfast and friendly staff.

The property was clean, and the staff was very helpful and nice. The only issue was that the tub in my room was clogged and kept filling up with water, so I didn’t feel comfortable taking a shower in it. I ended up washing up in the sink instead. Since my boyfriend and I were only there for one night, it was manageable, but if we had stayed longer, it definitely would have been a problem.

Breakfast was good and reliable. Hotel staff were all kind and welcoming. Housekeeping needs improvement. Upon check-in there was a used towel hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom and sand on the floor of the room. On the second day, someone came in and made the bed and took the used towels away, however there were no towels replaced. That night I went down to the front desk to get towels. Upon showering, I realized the body wash was empty, so the next day I left the front desk know. Upon returning to the room on the third day, the bed wasn’t made, but there were towels replaced. The housekeeping staff had also placed shower gel in the dispenser at the sink and hand soap in the shower. The staff working the breakfast area were amazing everyday and worked hard to make sure everything was stocked.

Just got back from a 2 day stay and booked again for July. Staff was great and everything was very clean. Many restaurants to choose from in the area. Would definitely recommend.
Charles
The property was very clean and staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again if I am back in town.
Erzsebet
Very clean, nice area of the city and the staff was very generous and helpful.

Hampton Inn is remodeling their rooms. We stayed in the suite and they took out the nice desk with plenty of drawer space. Sadly, they replaced the desk with a round table with one desk chair. There is a sofa but with no ottoman. The bathroom looks the same and outdated. I was disappointed that there was no drawer space and furniture where you could put your feet up to relax. It was a room that you could not relax in. I will no longer be staying in a suite room anymore.
Roger
Easy, friendly check in.
Really nice area with plenty of shopping and restaurants.
Very nice place to stay and would definitely stay again when in the area.

It was great to find a hotel that was able to accommodate a truck with a trailer. They had multiple long spaces for towing vehicles. The staff was also friendly and able to point us to some good spots for food.

Awesome staff

I used to stay at this hotel monthly. I have since moved to the area and now when my family come to visit they stay here. The elevator never works which is really inconvenient trying to get kids up and down from the top floor several times a day. I am not sure why they would even use the rooms on the top floors knowing the elevator doesn't work or is on the brink of not working. Other than that breakfast is great. The staff is great. It's just the elevators!
Mindy
They lied about the pool being open. Missing tiles throughout the hotel. Multiple bugs in corners, the shower didn't drain. Seems like they let everything go due to renovations starting soon.
Elizabeth
Great place to stay
Robin
Our rooms were great. The only concern I had was the body wash container was nearly empty in both rooms but there was a bar of soap so it wasn’t an issue. The hotel was under renovation but all the areas were open. Breakfast was good and staff were very accommodating and kind.
deejay
Jimmy was awesome as always

Upon check-in, we were issued a room with an emergency key? I’m not really sure what that is but the system was down so we were issued an emergency key!?! When we got to the room, The door didn’t even close. The deadbolt was not aligned. there was no way to secure the room whatsoever! This room should never have been issued so we had to go back to the lobby get another room that room had been remodeled, but was not clean at all there was a greasy substance all over the headboard the floors were dirty and a dirty towel left in the bathroom.
Billie
Room and bathroom need updating to match nightly rates specifically 3rd floor room 306

This was the best hotel stay I have had in a long time. Friendly staff, freshly redecorated room, quiet a/c, and excellent variety of freshly made food for breakfast.
John
Renovations nearly complete that did not impact our stay. I have a food allergy where the breakfast kitchen staff was quick to check ingredients on one of the items. Great guy!!
Billy
Clean spacious room, very comfy bed, great tv. Staff was wonderful, esp Meredith, accommodated us with all our requests and was super nice and very good at her job. Wonderful breakfast also!
Cory
Everything was fantastic, especially the staff. my second stay here and Ill be back in the future
Richard
Room was clean. Staff was polite and accommodating. Parking convenient.
There was construction within the building going on. Some noise during the day, construction workers hauling supplies and trash. Understandable.

Beds are always clean and comfortable. Always greeted with a warm smile. Christmas morning we awoke to a goodie bad by our door. Very thoughtful management. Breakfast was delicious. It was a great stay!
Katie
Property was being renovated. Flooring was torn up . There was construction noise from 8a-6p. Hotel should have been closed . We were not tnformed about renovation until after check-in. There was no discount . I would not recommend this hotel or other Hilton hotels to anyone.
Kathleen
Hotel is under major remodeling/construction. Our experience: Some food Items missing the first day are still missing on day 6 of our stay.
Bathroom was poorly “cleaned” multiple days. Hot water completely stops mid shower a few days. It was Christmas week and Christmas Day but 2 days our beds weren’t even made. Had to go downstairs to get our own towels one evening.
We love the Hampton and have never had an issue here before. I’m sure once the remodeling is done in March it will be back to being a great place to stay in Swansboro.
It would have been proper for them to tell us when we booked (Hotels.com) that they were under construction.

They are remodeling and workers started at 7:45 on a Saturday. Woke us up ugh

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and nice. Breakfast was great. The gym was closed because of renovations.
Betty
Clean and friendly.
John
Check in was easy, room was clean and quiet. I really like the soap/conditioner dispensers. Just seems to much more hygienic or something. TONY in the breakfast area was fantastic! Very friendly and funny, did a great job with keeping everything stocked. When we checked in, Johnny was training a new associate. While he was on the phone she had a question. He didn't seem upset or belittle her in front of us, just explained how to do it. Beds were comfortable, able to get the AC adjusted well. Shower spray was a bit 'meh', but okay. Check on out easy. Would stay again without any hesitation, even though it was not convenient to where we were going each day (Seafood Festival in Morehead City).
Susan
Every person working here was kind and professional. The bed was SO comfortable, and the room is very quiet. All 3 main breakfast options over the three days were delicious, and there were plenty of other options if you aren't an eggs and meat kind of person. I highly recommend this hotel.
Debra
Our stay was very nice and the staff was great! Would definitely stay there again if ever out that way.
Thomas

A+ customer service
When I first entered the room I was originally assigned, there was an objectionable odor in the room. I called the front desk and the lady on duty immediately found another - and better - room for me to use. While, true, there was an issue with one of the rooms, your customer service was A+. I will definitely stay there again if the need arises.
Zsolt
great location for a weekend getaway to the beach
Terry
Excellent
Everything was great from the service to the comfort of the room and very clean. Complementary breakfast was also great. Only thing I noticed was the elevator definitely needs work. Very noisy all the time.
Margaret
Check in was prompt and efficient this time, but found some hairs in the shower.
William
This location was great. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Elevator and doors need repair.
Phylicia
Very friendly staff and clean facility .
Louise
Excellent customer service! Friendly, courteous, and professional staff.
Jacob
Bathroom fan did not work. A/C was also not great
Spencer
We arrived to our room to find mold in bathroom ceiling, walls and lampshade! They moved us to another room but overall did not feel safe after that!
Lenore
The staff was awesome. Breakfast area amazing. Many options. Fresh. Plentiful. Room was dated. Entrance door dirty. Mentioned to front desk never cleaned. Shower water unmanageable. Super hot water or tepid. Mentioned to front desk. Never fixed. Of two elevators only one seemed to work. The working one every time it opened had an ungodly screeching grinding noise. That too never rectified. I was given a one night comp (the first night) but issues never fixed.
Kimberley
Very accomodating
Andrew
Kinda dirty

No where on Expedia website did we see any information about $75 dog charge which we were charged at check in. Second the mattress in the handicapped room we were assigned was absolutely the worst. No support or comfort whatsoever leading to a very restless night. Quite disappointed for an overall cost of over $330 for one night. Will not stay here again or recommend and would appreciate appropriate adjustment. Thank you.
Margaret
The property was within walking distance of downtown Swansboro ( 1 mile). The staff was EXCELLENT- so welcoming and friendly. The room and bed were comfortable. Continental breakfast had several options.
The only one thing that needed improvement... one elevator made a terrible noise when closing. The other elevator did not make this noise, so would advise having that attended to and fixed.

Property in overall nice condition. Checked into a large suite. Overall decently clean. Carpets were stained but to be expected. Windows & doors in hallways were kinda grimey & not cleaned during my stay (only 3 nights). Sizeable breakfast with options. Pool was busy with kids when arrived & seemed pretty clean from afar. Ample parking. Would come back if in the area.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff was hospitable
Dawn
The pool was closed while we were there. The washer and dryer on the second floor was out of order so we had to wait to use the one on the third floor. The elevator was noisy. However the property and hotel were we clean.
Kelley
Nice rooms and confortable beds.
Cindy
Everyone at this hotel was extremely helpful and so nice. The front desk staff was exceptional. I will definitely stay here again.
Michael
The elevators need to be replaced.

I’ve stayed at this property about 15 times over the last 3 years. It’s looking run down with broken tiles, squeaky elevator, and scratches on furniture. Staff nice but I hate that they hide in the back and I can’t check in quickly. I usually lie in the breakfast room to wait for someone to appear after calling out a few times.
Anna
There was a sign of roaches! The elevator made a horrible noise when the door opened and closed. An employee told us it was because the owner put in a cheap elevator. The water in the shower did not have a very good stream, not much water pressure.
Tanya
The staff was amazing!! The facilities were okay
Rhonda
Needs maintenance done. Only have one elevator working. We were there a month before and the elevator was not working then. They only had one ice maker working on one floor as well. It’s a nice place to stay however it needs maintenance work.
Victor
Wonderful experience the staff was very friendly and very welcoming.
Susan
Upon arriving, the attendant was on her phone with her AirPods in when I tried to check in. It took another team member physically making contact with her to get her attention. We didn’t have enough towels or blankets. When I went downstairs, the attendant let me know that we were lucky to get a blanket. Beyond our experiences with the front desk attendant, our room wreaked of men’s cologne each time the air kicked on. I ended up sleeping in the car because of the impact the smell had on my health. I never want to experience another night like that.
Darrell
The lobby an staff were great
dennis
wonderful experience
Ricardo
The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.
Laura
Overall good but could improve
The check-in process was fine, and the staff was nice. The cleanliness of the room was disappointing. Not vacuumed well. Mold on the shower head, and the shower head needs replacing. The desk / TV stand was sticky with drink residue and was not wiped down. Complimentary Breakfast was good.
Wade
It is nice and quiet. Parking was easy to get in and out.
Scott
I have had family stay here in the past and everyone loved it. It is a great property, spacious and comfortable room and an exceptionally nice continental breakfast.
There were a few issues that disappointed us. One of two elevators was out of service for our entire stay as was the ice machine on our floor. The maid service was nonexistent except to swap towels. They left us fewer towels than we had used, left the bathroom trash can unemptied, and cleaned nothing after 3 days.
We still had a nice stay overall. Sorry to see a Hilton let the usual high standards slip.

Stayed here 3 times and each time the room accommodations got worse. We found mold in and around the mini fridge and hair in the bathroom upon arrival. There’s only one slow and squeaky elevator operating for at least 7 months. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly and the hotel is conveniently located to what I need access to. It’s also very quiet and located on a nice property.
CHIA-CHANG
The elevator door making loud noise desperately needs repair.
Susan
I’m not kidding when I say I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in years. I usually wake up at least once, but I slept solidly through the night and even my alarm didn’t wake me up for 4 minutes after it started. I always bring my own brown noise machine, but even still, there was something different about this sleep. The food was also very good and fresh, even though I got there 15 minutes before it closed. And the receptionist and buffet attendants were friendly and great. I will totally stay here again.
Maya
The staff at this location were absolutely amazing. I’ve never seen some folks who really love their job that much. They even put eggs out for the kids on Easter morning. The morning breakfast guy was so kind and personable, I had a great conversation with him. The front desk clerks has Happiness radiating from their smiles.
