It’s an ok place to stay but I wouldn’t stay there again!!! I didn’t like that the bed sheets had some blood stains, the parking lot needs some cleaning, and I got charged $10 for a towel because it had “hair dye” when it was just makeup.

Staff was friendly but hotel was very dirty, our floor was covered in dirt, chunks of hair in the hallways. Alot of unfriendly and questionable people in the hallway that tried to start a fight with my husband for looking at them. Drug deals happening outside. Would not recommend to anyone.

I got my La Quinta reservation thru Expedia. I wasn't notified there was major construction at the motel. We were given a room with no TV, no internet, no phone, and lukewarm shower water. We switched to another room for the second of 3 nights. It was ok. There was no exercise equipment, no pool, etc., available at the motel as advertised on Expedia. I was told at the front desk I should make my reservations at the La Quinta website because that information would be correct, and I would be given a discount off the price La Quinta gave me. That price was lower than the Expedia price. When I got back home a few days later reservations for the La Quinta were not available on the Expedia site.

I was billed for the full price of the room Expedia originally gave me. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Expedia customer service, but they have not taken care of anything. I called to speak to the manager, Amber, at La Quinta, but she never called back.

As soon as we pulled in we saw to prostitutes walking around the parking lot. The building was all under construction when we entered the lobby. Loud drilling, plastic on the floors. The staff were very friendly and helpul. For that I give them a 2-stars, otherwise it would be 1 star.

The property was under construction. Nothing was properly taped off and dust was everywhere. There was garbage in the hallways and construction trash throughout the building. Additionally, they removed all necessary items such as the vending machines and hairdryer. The phone inside the room didn’t work and half of the outlets were not functioning. The girl at the desk was nice but it did not make up for this disaster of a hotel. The website mentioned only that the pool was under construction, nothing about the entire hotel. My son had to stay with family because he couldn’t stand the dust. Terrible.

Hotel was under construction, dust throughout building including being caked on door. Room had no towels, or operating phone. Had to drive back to front desk to ask for some towels. Door locked but definitely a gap to outside as light shined through. Last, a group of homeless or druggies camped out by our exit door.

I understand they are under renovation but to offer a better experience why don’t they put the reality of the hotel conditions, exposure of wires everywhere, room cover in dust, pool was closed. I wasn’t prepare to leave a deposit being said that it said no deposit needed. That cut my money expenses a lot . But i think there is a way to plan better rent a whole different hotel not there

We did not stay; the room was clean-ish but had the overpowering smell of pinesol. The building is being renovated and felt defunct. The pool was closed. Our rooms air conditioner unit squealed when turned on and the door would not close without being slammed hard into the frame. We opted to leave and chose another property, the front desk staff was kind and understanding, and gave us a full refund. I appreciated the compassion from staff, given the circumstances.

1. Everything was fine. Housekeeping were awesome.

However I have some issues with the billing:

2. Why were Thursday/Friday bill higher ($653/ $695) than Saturday($219)?

3. Why are the two rooms rates different on Thursday/Friday ($653/ $695 ) but rated same on Saturday ($219)

4. Why did we have to pay the deposit ($200) twice? First on Thursday and again on Saturday? I thought the first $200 should have been rolled over to Saturday when we rebooked the rooms for Saturday

Are you going to refund our $400 deposit or are you going to Keep it?

Property was undergoing construction. Fine. What’s not, is almost all amenities in the room we were in did not work. The bathroom door, the microwave, more than 1/2 the outlets, no WiFi connected to the tv, the latch lock busted off. In the halls and lobby There were broken outlet covers, holes in the walls. Just overall not a very pleasant stay. No discount or room change or room upgrade was offered.

The hotel was doing remodeling which was fine. The rooms, beds, linens were clean. A couple of the desk staff were pleasant. The overnight clerk was argumentative and when called to speak with a manager “Amber” had me on speakerphone and was not customer service oriented at all. For a hospitality manager she was TERRIBLE

Hot tub not open. People yelling in next room at 3am. Manager in hall couldn't stop them. 4am still noisy so got up to take a shower. Hot water only got luke warm. Decided to leave so had breakfast but milk in cereal was curdled and sour. Nothing was acceptable.

Do not stay at this property!!!!! The pool does not work. It is next to a nasty abandoned hotel and a rocks throw from a busy interstate. The staff is extremely rude. The breakfast was disgusting. Hard bagels and sour cream cheese. I was woke up both nights i stayed by yelling and cussing in the hallway. Zero hot water for showers.

We went to the room around 10:30pm, got eeady for bed realize the Television did not work, we couldn't call downstairs because the phone was just a display not connected.
My husband went downstairs to tell the attendant. He came up and couldn't fix it. He just said sorry and left. We stayed before in other hotels and never had as much issues like staying at La Quinta. Never again!!

The staff was amazing and my room was clean. That’s where it ends. There is construction happening so there is a mess you have to walk thru to get to the rooms. No dog bags outside in any receptacle. An entry/exit was closed because the glass was broken. The bed felt like a slab of wood and the shower door would not stay closed.

BEWARE

Charged a damage fee of $365 for a bloody nose on the sheets. No receipt, no warning. Some to manager who said it was owner's policy. Lord help the woman who ever starts her period here.

Tile was saw running at 9:30 PM and constant beep for over an hour until the front desk was called. Plaster all over the the hall floor. Breakfast was boiled eggs, waffles and bread. Apple juice tasted sour.

The staff was so nice but the hotel is a construction zone. The pool feels like it is a murder mystery with the low lights and the humidity. It smells like paint and it’s so messy with all of the rooms being redone. We did not feel safe and ended up leaving a day early. They were really nice about refunding but will never stay here again.

We should have been told the property was undergoing a remodel
Lot of containers and dumpsters. No parking and was a ceiling tile by our door in hallway. Tryed to take a shower at 7 pm water was Luke warm at best.breakfast didn’t look appealing at all so we went next door to McDonald’s.the room showed age shower was bad saw some mold on ceiling in bathroom. We had a hospital appt the next morning or we would have checked out . Was the worst place we ever stayed.will pay more for a qua hotel.I suggest hotels . Com should know when a property is going have a remo and recommend another hotel.

The entire hotel felt like it was in neglect. Torn carpet in the room, paint splatter, torn shower curtains, shower head not firmly attached, chunks of plaster missing. I can see they are refurbishing rooms, but shut the place down and do it all at once. This place was a digrace to the Wyndham line. Check in staff however was friendly and the only bright spot.

I wish I could post pictures. First of all, the area felt unsafe with homeless people hanging about and the hotel exterior in complete disrepair (the La Quinta sign was even missing from the building) but the room itself was terrible - the bottom of the bathtub was either filthy or stained dark grey and paint and sheetrock peeling around it. The door lock didn’t work and the top extra security lock was hanging on by a THREAD. One swift push would have sent it flying open. The TV didn’t work and there was no WiFi available and my cell phone had one bar in there. The TV also didn’t work. Good thing I was so exhausted I was able to fall asleep and get out of there as fast as possible the next morning. I nearly always choose La Quintas and this one was by far the worst one I’ve ever stayed at. The one good thing was the lady that checked me in was super nice and pleasant.

Was in town for surgery, this was close by at a decent, but not cheap price. I reserved a one bedroom suite, the day before I was told there was no elevator so I was switched to a standard room with no price change. Window was cracked and let a breeze in, floor, walls, furniture were filthy. Area was a little rough, lots of screaming, homeless, parking lot meets. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs and weird colorless sausage patties. Staff was very nice and it was conveniently located to hospital.

The front desk clerk was the nicest part of this hotel. The carpets in the hallways were disgusting, there were bags of trash in the hallways outside of doors. And the tub in the roomwas not cleaned, but the beds seemed clean. The hot tub was out of order, but my son enjoyed the pool. The pool area was not well lit and had a number of lights not working.

The hotel visibly looked like it had not been cleaned in days. The room smelled like a combination of mildew, old smoke and some cleaning supplies. There was a cockroach in the bathroom. Curtains were threadbare and torn; only one trash can for the entire room; very few outlets in the room; very dark and poorly lit; the room smelled damp and musty; privacy curtains had holes in them; carpet had a hole near the closet; and the closet doors seemed to be jammed. The hallway carpet was just as poorly maintained as the room. This hotel needs a complete remodel. I won't be staying here again.

Room & staff was great! The included breakfast was okay/average. I didn't have any coffee but my daughter-in-law said the coffee was like water so walked to McDonald's next door to purchase a cup. Hot tub was not up & running, so we didn't get to do that, as planned. Hotel itself was pretty good, but surrounding area was not the best although we didn't see any homeless or other negative red flags. It's just not the best area of town, is all. Overall, I gave our stay a good rating (4). For the price, I would consider staying there again if we were ever in that area.

The property is currently undergoing extensive renovation, so amenities like the gym, swimming pool, and spa are either non-functional or in very poor condition. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place for at least the next two years until work is completed.

While the rooms are spacious and the staff is courteous, the owner appears to be cutting corners and misleading guests. He claimed the nightly rate was $120, but comparable listings show it's usually in the $60–$70 range. It’s baffling that he assumes guests won’t verify this—an outright insult to their intelligence.

They even tried to overcharge me beyond the agreed price. I nearly had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but my bank assured me they would handle the dispute, so I held off.

This hotel is absolutely not worth over $100 (even with taxes), especially when far better options with breakfast are available just down the road.

Stay here only if you want to regret your decision.

Wonderful staff and hotel

Our stay was amazing! We had actually booked at a different hotel that was disappointing and worrisome. We booked last minute at this Holiday Inn Express, and it was fabulous! The staff was so wonderful and went out of their way to make us more comfortable. Everyone was very friendly, engaging, and helpful. The Room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great! We will definitely stay here again, and other Holiday Inn Express locations.
