Well the lady who is co owner of hotel is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. She made me make 2 reservations because the first one i didnt pay online but chose to pay at property BIG mistake. My debit card is in my apple wallet and since she couldnt physically see the name she declined to accept it well second booking somehow got in my email adress name and i paid for it well she ofc declined that as well i couldnt change it and am out almost 80 dollars!!!! On top of her rudeness!!!

Bates Hotel!!!

Hotel.com needs to actually physically review the locations that have on their website! My grandson and I felt is wasn’t safe and we both couldn’t sleep much! The place was rundown and the serve was barely average! Will never go back and I’m very disappointed with Hotel.com for even having it on their website! Shame on them!!!

Super dirty room, broken shower faucet with pipes showing out, disgusting floors,bad smell, no breakfast included, they only offer coffee at the lobby. We were the only people stay on this place, it felt like a horror movie. No maintenance at all.The bed was comfy but no comforter, towels were harder than a sand paper all stained, a/c super dirty... horrible won't describe this place. Not recommended not even for $20 a night. The guy at the lobby was nice though.

Breakfast was advertised but after seeing the seedy offfice I didnt expect much. Still, it was no. Heaper than other area motels, so, I had hopes. Room was clean, at least, and beds were ok. Nothing whatever to eat in morning; at 8 am a pot of coffee waa just being made. Worst motel Ive been in for years; I know there are stillnworse, but Id gladly pay anothe $20 or $30 to get a nicer stay.

AC only worked one hour in room. Toilet continually activated to refill water level. Mentioned at check out and office stated I should have called office @ 11 pm and we would have moved you to another room, so no adjustment could be made. We had been in bed an hour, last thing we wanted to do was get dressed and pack up to move to another room.

Our room was clean and housekeeping stopped by every day to see if we needed anything. The bed was hard but there were 2 chairs that were comfortable to sit in. We had a refrigerator and microwave which allowed us to bring back leftovers from Cracker Barrel since the breakfast at the Inn was Little Debbie pastries and a pot of coffee that someone brewed with creamers and sweeteners available. We were also close to Burger King and Chick Fil A so we could easily walk to them as well. The front office was not staffed regularly and was dark most of the time. Overall, the Inn served our needs as we transitioned back to the Tampa area.

Claimed it was pet friendly and refused a room because I had my cat. I was evacuated because of hurricane Milton. The person at the desk was rude and didn’t offer me any help. The office was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. Governor DeSantis had also said that all hotels should accept pets.

I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere where the word \"shabbly\" is more appropriate. It was an odd mixture of old and modern. The furnishings were like random selections from someone's attic or basement. Instead of a desk, a large but old table and a chair for which there was no room in front of it. I got a good night's sleep. So there's that. But \"overpriced\" is an understatement. I felt foolish paying about $100 for that. At $20 or $30 I wouldn't complain.

The front desk lady was the best of the stay, she was very nice and accommodating.
The site also offered breakfast included, it was at best grab and go only.

First of all, there's no Sign to say this is Rodeway Inn. Nothing on the building ..a tall faded illegible sign on one side and nothing on the other.
Second... Advertised...Breakfast Included. Breakfast was A sweet roll and coffee.
No juice, no milk No tea... Nothing to drink since we don't drink coffee...
NOT A BREAKFAST INCLUDED.. and that was my only requirement when searching.
Third....No shampoo...No conditioner...No lotion...One tiny sliver of soap...One tiny bottle of unidentified blue liquid..
Fourth...One mostly used up roll of toilet paper...No extra to replace it
No coffee or coffee pot..etc...
I chose Roadway Inn because it was the.. highest rating in the area with breakfast included in the same price range....

When we arrived couldn’t figure out where to check in as the office isn’t marked. The mattress in the bed was so slanted from people using the side of it facing the door I literally tumbled to the floor in the middle of the night when I rolled over. Had I hit my head on the nightstand a hospital visit and lawsuit could’ve been the result. That mattress should be replaced before someone gets hurt. I’m a senior citizen and picking myself up off the floor was not acceptable!!!

It's just me.

With me it's a personal thing. I don't sleep well on firm a mattress. Also I'm not used to having air conditioning running all night, but due to time of year, and this being Florida it was necessary. Room was basic, but very clean. Just what I was looking for. Also it's location is close to a couple of restaurants. Walking distance in fact. I would stay here again.

Looking for cheap, you found it.

The rooms were reasonably clean. The price was very good. The Continental breakfast was nonexistent. When I entered the office area where the food was supposed to be, there was coffee and some peanut butter cookies in a bowl. The tables pictured in the ad were not there. When I tried to get someone's attention, no one came to the front desk. Opening the office door set off a loud bell, but no one showed up. We left our keys on the desk, found a nice restaurant down the street and left.

It was a typical trip stop for overnight accommodation. The place looks much better in pictures than in real life. It must be one of the oldest hotels in lake city. You could see day light through the door frame and the security lock wasn't. I have no idea how this place gets a 6.6 rate and no breakfast. 😥😥😤😤

I have stayed here several times. I stay at hundreds of hotels. I usually stay at big name brand double the cost hotels but have been severely disappointed in Ocala. This hotel exceeded some of them. Room has fridge, microwave, large iron board, hair dryer etc . ., Bathroom has exhaust fan which you cannot get in Ocala. They have friendly customer service. They do need different shower heads but they may have these to reduce water since low flow. I like to change shower head settings and there is not an option.

I like that I can enter room without standing in elevator with lots of people. Ur car is right beside your room door.

Room was clean, beds were alright but the bathroom was outdated and very worn, with the coating coming off the tub and the tile floor being worn and cracked in some places. The bathroom sink had no stopped which sucked when I had to shave. Two of the lamps in the room only had one bulb in them making it a little dark when I needed more light.

This hotel was not cleaned, shower rod was falling down, urine on the toilet, trash under the edge of the bed, floor not vacuumed, paint peeling from the walls, tub is damaged and falling apart, and the bed sheets were not changed. Overall the worst hotel I have seen.

This place is a dump!

Horrible place! Dirty, worn out! Neglected! If I hadn’t been dead tired I’d have demanded a refund. Bedding was old & holey, stained, and hopefully bugless, though I’m not optimistic. No shower curtain, freezer door was missing. A/C was hindered because the curtains hung over it. The place stunk of air freshener. I would not recommend even considering staying here - pay the extra $50 to have a nice sleep!.

I have read the other reviews on here.. Ridiculousness. This hotel is Half the cost of nearly every hotel in Lake City, so i think it is unfair to review it as if you were staying at The Hotel Casa Monica.

It was well worth the Money. If you need a Hot Breakfast, buy one with the $50‐100 you save by staying here at the Cracker Barrel that is a walk across the street away.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, and convenient to the interstate and all amenities.
