I had several issues during my stay. Upon arrival, there was a problem with my card at check-in, which took some time to sort out. The side entrance door locks didn’t work properly, and the WiFi connection was unreliable—likely due to the hotel being in a low-coverage area.
The front desk staff was friendly and tried to help, but the condition of the room left a lot to be desired. The bathroom felt dingy, with a dirty tub cover and an old mat that looked unsanitary. The couch in the room was also worn and stained. Despite booking a non-smoking room, there was a strong smell of smoke throughout the space.
The hotel’s dining options were minimal and not very appealing. To top it off, a blue light in the room flashed every 20 seconds, making it hard to sleep.
Overall, it was not a comfortable or pleasant stay.

There was a very welcoming atmosphere. The issue I have was no ice on any floors except the first floor. Also, running out of breakfast by 8:00 is obsurd. The kitchen personnel was not prepared for the pace of the guest in replenishing the simplest item..hot water. They complained about the children eating all the breakfast. I am sure these children were registered with their ages so that should not be an issue considering there was an event in town. The housekeeper’s worked really hard to keep the rooms clean and it showed. Overall, a nice location for a hotel.

We checked in evening after being at a basketball tournament all day. We had to go back out for another game when we returned at night, we attempted to take showers in the water with cold. When we placed a call to the front desk they responded with that has been a problem on and off for several weeks. I let them know that they never informed us at check-in of this issue. Because of this, my son had to take an ice cold shower after playing basketball all day.
The next morning, I called back the front desk to state that this is a real issue and asked if there were any other options for us another room that may have had hot water. The person at the front desk responded that the only other option is to go over to a sister property and utilize a shower there which was not an option for my family as we were leaving to go to another basketball game. I am very disappointed that this property took our money and and did not mention this issue at check in.

The only problem during my at the hotel arranged by the Alumni Association of Groton School for our reunion weekend was that I had volunteered to be the pickup person at Logan Airport in Boston and had three persons to pick up, the first one ag 10am, the last at 1:30. During my wait I was informed of my need to return home to New Jersey that day, and at check out at about 2:30 was informed by the desk that I would be charged for Friday night as well as Thursday. I realize it was a “late” checkout, but had not expected to be charged for Friday night as I was sure the hotel would get a weekend reservation to cover that. But the charge was made. Not happy about that.

Clean comfortable room with friendly front desk personnel! Breakfast had a wide variety of tasty offerings, including many chosen for taking to go.
One small criticism, and I mean small… apparently more than a couple of the doors, including ours, have lever handles that must be pulled up rather than down. Not a big deal, but a heads up from the front desk would have saved me a return trip.

We were there for a volleyball tournament with many other leagues staying at the same hotel, during a winter storm. Overall, the stay was great. Front desk was very friendly. The room was spacious, giving the feeling of a separate living room from the bedroom with a half wall in between (it was nice to sit on the sofa or large desk/table and eat or watch a movie together as opposed to sitting on the bed). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. The only issue we had was our toilet overflowing a couple of times and it took quite a bit of time for someone to come and deal with it but once someone came, they took care of the issue and cleaned the bathroom (call the front desk instead of speaking to housekeeping for immediate resolution, which was our mistake). I love that the hotel was in its own little plaza with some food options, such as a restaurant (I think it was a Mexican grill restaurant), pizza shop (very good), dunkin donuts, etc, all within walking distance. It was very convenient. The hotel was very busy with the tournament going and different leagues staying but everyone was nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend and book here again.

There was no hot water and showering was not possible. The noise level of the room made it impossible to sleep. Nice place to stay if you are going to a concert at the Bull Run in Shirley (9 minute drive). Nice facility and rooms were spacious. Only problem was at check in. I had reserved four rooms and the first guest that arrived received the wrong room - so when I showed up there wasn't a room with my name on it. After doing a pre check in I expected a quick stop at the front desk that took 10 minutes to resolve. Still not sure if the billing all worked out correctly.
