The staff at this hotel is fabulous. They anticipate your needs and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for. Our only real complaint is that rooms on the front of the building can be very loud at night. They were able to move my room to the back of the building and that solved the issue.

Staff were very good, room and hotel was very clean. On my stay lift was out of service for 2 whole days, meaning walking up to breakfast on 8th floor. Restaurant said kitchen was closed at 9pm when I was there at 9.05pm, not very flexible. Some noise so must have thin walls. Great location for Corferias. Great value for money.

After our last visit in October, there was no other choice. Although I didn't ask for it, they booked us into the exact same room again. Breakfast is the highlight of my day and they really don't disappoint. A good spread for everything and they always have a selection of local cuisine too. The staff are always friendly and polite, even with my requests for the Colombian hot chocolate throughout the day. If you book with them, you are in good hands.

My trip to Bogota was to attend to some business at the US embassy. I had stayed at the Hotel Platinum several time before not knowing that it was only a short 500 meter walk from the embassy.

Clean and comfortable rooms, great service.
I book this hotel for my Mom and my son, I look around the area for safety reasons and close to the embassy. And I find out that most of the fun things were around. The rooms were very spacious and very clean, my Mom said that the breakfast was amazing and the Suttle was very affordable and safe better than a taxi cab, because they charged pretty much the same as 🚖. I highly recommended this hotel, family and couples environment.

On the hotel website, and all of the booking sites, the hotel has a picture of a rooftop restaurant. It looked like a great place to dine and have a great view.
This restaurant.....does not exist. Period.
I went to the top of the hotel....the glass doors are locked. You can see out on the roof. Chairs stacked up...filthy....abandoned. I have no idea how long it has been closed.
The restaurant downstairs. You never know when it will be open.
The one day I was counting on eating there.....it had closed at 3:30P.
No room service....nothing.
The hotel also claims it has air conditioning. It does not. Important to note....its not that the air conditioning was broken. There actually is no air conditioning. No vents...no fans......nothing. A small....very small window could be opened. That is it.
Lastly.....on my departure....i asked the desk to get me a cab.
I had been making the trip to the airport all week.
The \"taxi\" that the hotel called for me....charged twice the amount of the normal fare.

The hotel Staff is really good, actually is the best from the hotel, room service is excellent, all is clean, but the mattress, bath and facilities are not so good. Will be great if you improve mattress, bathroom, air conditioning and hot water. Also is really noisy, the noise from the highway is terrible. The hotel is on a walking distance to Corferias which is great. There are not nice restaurants around but you can take a taxi to the restaurant plaza in front of the Wyndham hotel or even better go a little further to Grand Estación Shopping Center.

I chose this hotel based off of reviews I had read prior to travel.The 1st impression was everything is miniature. The lobby ,the front desk the elevator and lastly the room. They issue you a actual key on a huge key ring that you must tote across Bogota. The doors on the room are comparable to the closet doors on a cheap house, paper thin so you can hear everything outside your door whether you want to or not.The breakfast was more than disappointing as the rating was 5 star but 3 stars would be generous. Room is extremely small with no circulation and the view is that of of ugly rooftops.We spent 4 days in this hotel and by day 3 my back was feeling the lousy mattress. The one plus is the staff was very nice and they have taxi service on call.

Very nice hotel with a friendly, courteous staff. My wife and I love the breakfast which takes place on the 8th floor of the hotel with a nice view of the city. For this type of hotel in the States you would easily pay at least 3 to 4 times, it was worth it. Much thanks to Adolfo at the front desk, he was very accommodating.

Nice Hotel with easy access to airport
The hotel was very clean and an easy ride from the airport upon arrival to Bogota. It was definitely a cab ride away from the colonial area/ historic part of the city, as well as the \"upscale\" neighborhood where you an find high end shops, many restaurants, etc. Although the cab rides are no more than 10,000 pesos each (about $3 USD) to get to the most notable attractions one must take a cab. The hotel was very clean and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I didn't know that there was no air conditioning - however the windows opened and a nice cool breeze came into the room to allow for a good sleep. I would stay here again on my next trip in!

Best Hotel Deal in Bogota
Stayed over the Christmas holidays and a very good time. The staff was very helpful, spoke English, the room was always clean,with new towels when I wanted them and the free breakfast was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again. The Hilton, at a fraction of the price

I usually take the hotel embassy park in bogota which is super but it was not available so i took one down the road. hotel platinum .
they charge you for things you never had. i signed a receipt for 47000 for a (not eatable) dinner. at check out it was 84000. if they call a taxi for you it one that charges your double the standard rate. they charge for things in the room that i never had. as i said that i have a list of the things that i had the guy. locked the door and refused to let me catch my plane. a friend stayed for 5 hours in the room with me as we had things to discuss. they charged me for another person for a full day.????????

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
This is a very clean and friendly-staffed hotel. The area at first seems rather sketchy, but we did not wander around the hotel. Transportation to and from airport was arranged. Great service.

Nice little hotel
This was the fourth time I have stayed here. May not stay again though. They tried to add on some extra charges upon checkout, but the receptionist was kind enough to take the time to have them waived. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast if fantastic, and the rooms are always clean. The only thing that I did not care for was the possible hidden charges.

First: I was given this time a room facing the main street, the windows are NOT sound proof and the noise was terrible.
Second: There is an open space inside the hotel in the middle that goes from the first floor all the way to the top. The kitchen restaurant is right there next to the lobby. The smell from the kitchen permeates all the way through the hotel. The smell of seafood even on the fourth floor was over powering, I could not stand it. It was even lingering throughout the hotel at 4:00am when I checked out hours after the restaurant closed. If you enjoy the smell of seafood all the time everywhere, this place is for you.
Rooms and bathrooms are also on the small side. If not for the noise and the smell, I would rate this hotel very good.
