I saw a robbery just after check in. The area is bad at night. Nothing like the photos it’s very run down and dirty.

Nice outside appearance but hidden flaws
I stayed there on 2 occasions. On the first stay breakfast was included and on the second stay I thought it was included until I paid the bill. The door to my room was damaged as if someone kicked it open from the outside. You could see the outside through a hole. The air conditioner was noisy and didn't cool the room enough. The shower on/off knobs were broken and would fall off, you needed to stick them on the stem to turn on/off the shower. The hotel staff that checked me in opened 2 occupied rooms at night before finding the correct room. I asked for wake-up calls that never happened. There were some staff. The buildings outside appearance is modern and the pools are nice.

The hotel is nice, good facilities, comfortable and clean rooms. In general terms the hotel is good, however I experienced a very disappointed situation with my family during check out. We booked the hotel trought Expedia and I got the confirmation E-mail with the rates I have to paid, terms and conditions which clearly said \"Taxes Included\". At the moment of the check out they asked me to pay more than the rate confirmed by Expedia complaining that the taxes was not included. Even when I presented the Confirmation from Expedia where clearly said Taxes Included. We expend 2 hours in discussion with administrative personnel of the hotel, including the manager who inclusive threat us with call the police. Very, very disappointed.

The staff was very heplpfull, not all speak english but are quick to get someone if you need. Parts of Melgar can be very noisy till the sun comes up on the weekends. With this one it appeared to to be one of the best and far enough away from the party street that with all the noise.

Particularmente me molestaron tres cosas: La negativa de no guardar el equipaje en la recepción mientras recibía la habitación fue bastánte incómodo para mi puesto que tuve que cargar con todo mi equipaje durante 4 horas. En segundo lugar tuvieron que mudarme de habitación que aun cuando era muy pequeña (esa no es necesariamente mi queja) tenía descompuesto el aire acondicionado y en la segunda habitación aun cuando el aire funcionaba tenía un sonido demasiado molesto que en algunas ocasiones llegaba a ser muy alto, como si estuviera descompuesto. Y finalmente con mi pareja pedimos un par de cocteles y la piña colada que pedimos llegó tibia y para valer 30000 pesos no me pareció que tenía la calidad esperada.

La estadía fue buena en general, claro que si uno quiere descansar no es mejor sitio ya que todo el ruido se filtra y siempre hay mucho ruido hasta altas horas de la noche, por otro lado necesite modificar mi reserva y no fue posible ni con ustedes ni con el hotel por que no contestaron, eso me párese muy deficiente. en cuanto a la atención, el personal es muy amable y educado.

Lindo hotel pero comida muy costosa, una gaseosa que normalmente cuesta 1500, vale allá 6000, sabemos que deben subirle pero ganar mas del triple en un producto tan comun es una exageración y desenamora al huesped.

No tan bien como esperaba, los precios eran excesivos respecto al lugar, la verdad en la medida que pueda lo evitaré. Intentaré con servicios todo incluído, pues realmente ni siquiera en discotecas y/o restaurantes de renombre manejaban ese nivel de precios.
Respecto al personal de servicio, nada que decir, pues son personales amables y dispuestas a prestar un buen servicio, el reglamento también algo incoherente. Te ofrecen servicio de nevera en la habitación pero no puedes ingresar alimentos y/o bebidas, me pasó que salí de rumba en la noche tuve tragó sobrante y por reglamento no puede ingresarlo, en mi concepto incoherente.
