Rooms are horrible tubs are chipping and I had the preferred club which means top shelf drinks . First let me start off saying the food was nasty as hell, in the morning for breakfast & lunch can’t enjoy your food. There are flies everywhere & birds disgusting . When you get up to get a drink you have to cover the plate with napkins. I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all . Food on the beach horrible frozen hamburger patties Frozen chicken wings .staff at the hotel definitely favor Caucasians . I can write a book on this Hotel in just a short stay . RIDICULOUS

Our check in experience wasn’t what we were expecting & definitely not the greatest.. compared to other resorts that we have been to. Dreams Cancun in Mexico 🇲🇽 was amazing compared to our check in @ the Dreams Resort & Casino In Curacao 🇨🇼. I booked this hotel because of experiences we had @ Dreams in Cancun , Wouldn’t go in to details but let me just say I was very dissatisfied. I also think the cleaning staff for the rooms need to do a better job.. the food was great also the Bar..

Very beautiful property and almost everyone was kind except for one slim female bartender with the big fake curly ponytail. She never acknowledged us once at the bar no matter where we sat. I could never see her name bar to get her name but I’ll be back and I’ll get it next time. The best highlight of this property is the bartender Aisha(could spell it differently)!!!! She was theeeee absolute best staff member on the property. Very kind and courteous and super attentive!!! 10/10 for her. She works at Rendezvous. My room was super impressive and incredibly spacious!!!! Loved my stay!

Gio was our butler for Il Mare and we will absolutely want to go back and hopefully get him again. He was so kind, personable, helpful and made you feel like you were home and never a bother! Makes such a difference taking advantage of the butler service. We went on our honeymoon and couldn’t say enough about how beautiful it was there! The Il mare pool is beautiful and the drinks at blue were absolutely delicious. The restaurant at Il mare was good as well. Oceano was good for lunch and I would definitely take it advantage of zoetry resort right across the street. Totally different vibe and Botanica and the international restaurant was delicious. So easy to rent a car and go into town. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Hoping that we will definitely be able to come back. Loved our little pod and they did a great job keeping it clean and the turn down. Service was so sweet. He never felt like you were going without something. There was always staff available to help out if you have any questions. And they always made sure that you knew all the options that were available too, but never pushy. Love love loved it there.

Stayed in the pods at Il Mare. They were really nice. Staff was great. All of our room service gentleman were awesome. Kobe, Fernando, Rendy and Romke were awesome. Bartenders Victor, Coco and Nathaniel were amazing. They made great drinks and amazing coffees in the AM. Food was ok at dreams. Il mare had good food. Could have jad better nightly entertainment. Overall we had a good time.

Staff was unaccommodating. The Staff acted as though they had better things to do than serive the patrons. Regardless of the request weather it was bottle water for the room, clean towels, or just plain toilet tissue it was at least a three to four hour wait if the request was fulfilled at all. For example requested a chicken club sandwich at midnight and did not receive it till almost 4am and thats after I had to personally come down and find a staff member working the kitchen. Which at that point the staff member made the sandwich in front of me in mere minutes, 8 to be exact. So what was the hold up from midnight till 3:30am, if I never came to request and wait for the food in person would i have ever received it? Mind you room service is stated to be open fron midnight to 6am. This service is completely unacceptable for the prices expected for the patrons of the Dreams Resort to pay.

Really loved the pod concept. Having access to dreams and Zoetry was a nice bonus. Adult infinity pool was really nice. Staff were overall friendly but slow (which is fine, I get it). Food at Zoetry and the adults only part of dreams very good. Breakfast buffet at dreams was decent. I get why people complain about the food but when you’re in a foreign country and eating at an all inclusive it kind of is what it is. Top shelf liquor at adult pool was a nice bonus and the bartenders made really good drinks, they made anything I asked for and it was all really good! I liked that you could walk off the resort and still feel safe. The nearby beach and restaurants were a nice change up. Definitely rent a car and explore all the island has to offer. Beautiful country with friendly people. I don’t like to return to locations because the world is vast and time is limited but I would return here. My only criticism is the butler service (which was heavily advertised) was a little lacking. They were great at making reservations to restaurants but when we asked for drinks or room service they always seemed to be out of everything or it never came. We aren’t huge “butler” people so it wasn’t a big deal but just something to be aware of.

IL Mare is the private section for all the beach bungalows. The rest of the resort is not allowed over there. It has 24 hour butler service. It was the most amazing trip we’ve taken. The shoreline is a reef and full of tropical fish for snorkeling. The bartenders and butlers were amazing over there. This is a little bit smaller of a resort and was so relaxing and chilled out. If you want a crazy 24 hour party, this is not the resort for you. There was always activity, but you could go and sit and relax and have it quiet around you any time of day. so much food and drink options. We felt we needed to stay more than one week so we could experience all the different food on the menu. If you’re going to this resort, spend the money and stay in the bungalows. It is worth every single penny. You will leave with absolutely no regret. 24hr room service. We rented a car and drove into the downtown. Was easy. ABC rentals dropped the car off right in the parking lot for us and picked it up from there. We literally had nothing to worry about the entire week. The worst part about this resort is having to leave at the end of your vacation. It was heartbreaking to leave because we had the best time.

The rooms were nice enough with a giant window with an ocean view. The beach was very nice with crystal clear water and bunches of fish that came begging to be fed.

The worst points were two of the three on-site restaurants. Porto Fino and the steak house were awful. We nearly cancelled after our first experience with the \"Italian\" place. Service was absurdly bad. 20 minutes before our water glass was filled, meal took a very long time to arrive and it came out cold and lukewarm. The steak place was bad too. Fortunately, there were other real restaurants within easy walking distance for a price.

The only highlight in on-site food was the seafood place which acted like a real restaurant, had tasty dishes and prompt service.

This resort had really bad reviews and I dont understand it. It was a great stay. We stayed on the il mare side, but were also at the dreams side. The beds were comfortable, view amazing, property beautiful. Entertainment average. The buffet was not the greatest but no other complaints. Staff amazing. It sounds like there are more resturants than there is....there is 2 on the dreams side, one at ill mare if u stay there (those are the upgraded pods on the beach that are amazing), and one at zoetry if u stay at il mare u can use also.

The property was amazing, the views of the water from the Bungalow were breathtaking. Dream iMare made my birthday unforgettable from the room decoration, to the steak & lobster dinner on the beach. The massages we received while there were extraordinary. This resort is a 5 star experience and I can’t wait to come back. Our Butlers Shakiel, Sheny, and Gio were absolutely amazing and had wonderful hospitality.

Bathroom was gross, water pressure was very low. Toilet was an issue. Room is ok. Food is trash. No selection. Drinks bottom of the line liquor. We had to leave resort to eat for our last few nights. Staff was good by the bar and restaurant. Front desk never answered the phone and were not accommodating. I asked for a robe and the lady said can it wait until tomorrow??? Beach is nice. Pool is small. Lastly no entertainment or disco. Resort was completely closed at 10 pm each night.

Beautiful clean place and very friendly staff. Everyone can find what fits their interest. You can have hotel activity or nice quiet spots to relax and enjoy songs of the birds and waives of the ocean. Good food. The variety is not big, but again, everyone ca find what he likes. The restaurants' schedules should be arranged better. Many people are confused, especially at firs day of staying. There is not open buffet for the dinner.
Cons: residents of other hotels could enjoy the Dreams' property, but dreams' guests don't permitted to go there.

Not enough staff, service was slow, grounds not kept well, dirty garbage, no one managing anything. Bars smelled bad, not enough variety with food, entertainment overall. No music at Il mare bungalows it was desolate and did not feel like a resort. The bungalows were nice but the beach was not as nice as the main area. Not worth the money. The staff are SUPER friendly and welcoming! The food has good seasoning I really liked it. The only thing I didn’t like was that the resort says it has multiple restaurants but only one was open throughout our stay. Other than that the hotel was super clean and pleasant. I booked an ocean front room and when I arrived at the resort I was told that room is not available due to a “system glitch”. So I waited hours for another room and was given a double bed room with no ocean view and the AC did not work. I saw another couple there complaining about how the AC does not work also.
The food there is sub-par and drinks were barely ok. I only stayed one night and demanded a refund and went somewhere else to stay.

This all-inclusive hotel was the worst I’ve stayed at, despite having visited over 100 countries. The room was dated, the AC barely worked, and the TV never functioned. The hotel’s cleanliness was questionable, with plates left in the hallways at midnight and our own not picked up when we left them out at 2 p.m. we even killed a roach that was crawling out from another plate.

We barely ate at the hotel as the restaurants in downtown were much better. Despite having all-inclusive in our room rate, we opted for dinner in various downtown restaurants (Kome, Bistro 91, BKLYN) during our 3-night stay. The room service breakfast looked sad and disappointing, so it’s best to have breakfast at the buffet.

We picked this hotel to stay in the same complex with friends who received a voucher to return to Il Mare after their reservation was messed up last year. Il Mare had serene pods and a beautiful view, but my friends didn’t receive breakfast room service for two out of three stays. The 24-hour room service menu doesn’t exist, and the wait time for simple items like juice and ice cream could be up to an hour. For the steep price, you will totally regret it.

If you’re considering this hotel, save your money and stay downtown to enjoy Curaçao’s true culinary beauty.

Most of the staff were rude and not friendly. A lot of attitude given with no customer service etiquette. There was no air throughout the resort and the rooms. Barely any fans given since the rooms were hot. The food was awful with no variety. Always one restaurant was closed plus Oceana restaurant was barely ever open. Buffet was disgusting. Food was cold with birds constantly picking at the food. Not much communication throughout the resort. The rooms were dirty and outdated. Definitely will NOT be going back and would not recommend this resort to anyone.

Not every restaurant are open every night so you’re limited on what yu can eat on specific nights. Super hot in the rooms. No AC! All this money people pay to stay & we can’t even sleep comfortably. Woke up drenched in sweat every morning. It was a good trip overall because I was with friends & we explored the island, but i will never stay here again or recommend anyone to stay here. 0/10.

I do not recommend this property. The overall cleanliness, maintenance, and service quality were well below expectations. The room had a strong odor of smoke, the decorative pillows were visibly stained, the air conditioning did not function properly, and the toilet appeared to have not been cleaned after the previous guest. Although my reservation was for a double bed, I was assigned a single and initially asked to accept it. The manager, Penelope, was dismissive and unhelpful in addressing these concerns. It ultimately required the involvement of her supervisor and additional staff to resolve the matter.

The dining experience was equally disappointing. The buffet food was cold, the seafood restaurant caused illness among guests, and the overall food selection was extremely limited.

In addition, the property itself is outdated and in desperate need of a complete renovation. It does not reflect the standards or quality associated with the Dream brand.

We stayed at IL Mare adult only at Dreams resort. And I have to say it was the best experience we’ve ever had. Our Butler Jacob was nothing but amazing. Very intensive, informative and takes great care of us throughout our stay. Location, food and drinks are all great. We love it!

Due to the reviews I read before arriving, I was very skeptical. We stayed in the mare pods and had a wonderful experience. Great service at the pool bar and restraunts. The staff is very friendly. The food choices are limited and okay.

Unhelpful, unfriendly staff. Was not given the room I originally booked and in addition to that the AC unit, in the room I was given, didn't work.

This clearly seems to be sort of a regular/usual occurrence as after I complained I was moved to the Zoetry resort, which is phenomenal by the way, for the remainder of my stay.

As for the Dreams Curacao 0/10 would not recommend ever!!

The views at the property are beautiful, but the facility is not being maintained properly. Our room appeared nice, but there was no AC and no water pressure. We were moved to another room, with better AC and water pressure, but we had to take cold showers as there was only hot water in the sink (which had no cold water), and cold water only in the shower no hot water. After a day in the sun, the first shower did not bother us, but after that it was annoying. Also, my toilet broke and we had to use the lobby until it was fixed, but it broke again. We were checking out so we didn't request a fix. All restaurants have the same menu basically. It is not enough space to accommodate a lot of people, so the first night there, we waited 3 hours to eat. And that was after going to 2 different restaurants. The premium liquor selection, is available for an upcharge. The entertainment was not as good as I hope as well. The staff is very kind and tries to accommodate, but the fact is the property needs a complete overhaul to really represent the brand Hyatt

The staff was good at the front desk but need more training as everyone you speak too gives you a different answer for the same question.The bar staff all act like you are bothering them when you go to get a drink but overall the rest of the staff is nice. Housekeeping only came to clean on day one and did not come to clean again. If you are in your room trying to relax be prepared to be woken by slamming doors as all room door slam unless you are super careful. The property is small and easy to navigate. The food was better then I expected based on other reviews. There is a seperate kiddie pool with some water toys which my 2 year old loved!! Overall it was good for the price!

Dreams Curaçao Resort has a lot of potential. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, and the views are breathtaking. I did notice some trash around the pool area (cups, straws, napkins, food, etc.), but it didn’t interfere with my experience—just something I noticed.
In regard to entertainment Friday night entertainment was the best. Other than that, there wasn’t much entertainment or activities happening. I would say entertainment and activities was a two out of five. Our excursion with BlueFinn beach hopping on Sunday was excellent & highly recommended!
The food was okay, depending on the time of day. When we first arrived on Friday, lunch was delicious, but I can’t say the same for Saturday’s lunch. The restaurants were decent: the Italian restaurant had good food four out of five, the seafood restaurant was a three out of five, and the hidden grill was a two out of five. Honestly, the staff were the real heroes of the resort—they were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They made the experience a five out of five.
As for the rooms, the AC stopped working on day two, and the shower handle fell off on day one. Even though we had to wait an extra hour for our room to be ready, the bathrooms weren’t clean to my expectations. It looked like a rushed job. And the water pressure for the sink was nonexistent. I reported it right away, but no one ever came to fix it. Overall, the bathrooms need a lot of work, and I’ll leave it at that.

The staff was amazing. The rooms inside the dreams needed updating. The tubs and toilets paint was chipping and peeling super bad and noticeable. The A/C only runs in fan mode so it can get very uncomfortable and hot at times.

AC in the room barely worked, very hot in the room, a lot of other people complained about it too, birds in the buffet restaurant pecking on bread trays, nobody does anything about it. Birds also were eating noodles from service trays. A stray dog was cooling of in the main pool.

Beach is very nice. Staff is friendly. We were at this hotel in 2020 and it was much better back then.

I paid for an Oceanview king room, they gave a 2 beds an a view of the parking lot. Then the next morning wake up to the toilet not working & AC I go downstairs to be told they couldn’t change my until 5 after the manager proceeded to tell me to show him proof of the oceanview king room. Once I showed him my receipt then he proceeded to tell me Well it’s not always a grantee you get. What you paid for and never offered to refund me 1 day. Thank Jo

The beach is beautiful, but there are a lot of rocks, the rooms are good, clean, but the food is very bad, the bar service is terrible, and the beach is only so-so clean.
