We enjoyed our stay at the RedDot. The location was great for getting to local sites and the staff were super helpful with local tips and suggestions. We enjoyed using the hotel bikes to ride along the nearby river. There is a cool bar attached to the hotel (Shu) and a great coffee place around the corner (Kanau Coffee.)

Nice boutique hotel. Simple, clean and stylish. The speakeasy next door pours great craft cocktails. Proximity to a night market is a definite bonus for a quick bite. The only two negatives for me were that the breakfast was a set menu that only changes every other month. If on an extended stay this can get tedious. Food was very tasty. The second was that there wasn't laundry service. Again for a long stay this will force you to find a place. The font desk didn't have any suggestions other than a coin op place around the block.

We were assigned to a 8th floor room. The corridor and the room are quite dark, which I don't like. The brightest area is the toilet. The design is special and you can feel the specialty. There is a Nespresso Machine which 2 capsules, which is an addition point to the hotel.

Genuinely one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to anywhere at any price. Very cool design and aesthetic without compromising functionality at all. Tons of features you'd expect from a hotel at many times the price. Luxury bath products, incredible bedding, free Nespresso, a dang heated toilet seat even! All that and the staff is exceedingly friendly and more than willing to provide advice about the city. Great location. They accomodated my late checkout for free. I honestly can't say enough good things and I can be a bit of a tough critic. I wish it was an international chain.

We are very happy with this stay and this is definitely more than what we asked for. In the heart of the Taichung center. It's very convenient that you walk to many souvenirs shops and some attractions. Roads are not good to walk in Taichung but you will never find a problem in getting an Uber. Rooms designed with details and I love every part of it! Love the nespresso machine and free capsule :) - I've been many other places they need you to pay extra!!!

Excellent stay at RedDot hotel. The kids are in particular attracted by the slides and we have to plan 30 mins timeslot at the middle of the afternoon for the kids to play there. Hotel room is fully equipped. The bath sets (bath gels/ shampoo etc) are in good quality. Our room is standard one and is not too big. We love the fun and quirky decor in this property. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is adequate. There is complimentary Nespresso machine in the room but the cafe/bar next to the lobby serves excellent coffee and snacks worth the try. This place is for someone who prefers a serene surrounding instead of the noisy area near Fengjia Night Market (quite a distance but you can easily take a cab). There is a string of souvenir shops, vintage cafes and night market near the hotel. We would love to stay here again if we return to Taichung.
